Interesting and educating but they lie telling that Jerusalem is the most important place for Arab muslims. It's at most third, the first is Mecca. Jerusalem is holiest place for Jews. Arabs have 22 states and they still want to kill Jews and take their only land... why Arabs in other countries don't allow Palestinians to live as humans in cities in houses left by expelled Jewish refugees but keep them in camps like a cattle? It's Arab societies who treat Palestinians as subhumans.

war didnt break out between the jews and Palestinians in 1948. the new state Israel was attacked by all neighboring arab countries.

there was no sovereign Arab state in Palestine then. it was land inhabited by Jews, Muslims and Christians. during the world war it was liberated from Turkey by Britain (with the little help of Jews and Arabs). The land was designed for both Jews and Arabs but Arabs rejected the plan and invaded. it was never exclusively Arab land and hopefully never will

The arab nationalism is not a response to Israeli agression which is backed by US. That is why the war become a global Muslim struggle. Arab Unity is like swimming in an icy river. It looks, from the outside, much nicer than it feels. It takes continued determined effort and the rewards may not be what they would originally appear to be.

Notice very carefully that the film makers provide a distinction....they say: "the Palestinians & the Arabs", over and over. The Arab community has used the Palestinian issue(s) over and over but when they have had a chance to really help; they have not done so. Witness the Saudi monarchy.....
