@Wingman7033 nope, they're supposed to counter stalkers, marines are actually more effective to counter zealots because of the higher attack speed.

@Wingman7033 if u look at it that way, every distanced unit is good to counter zealots (if they got higher movement speed), cause u dont get hit at all with proper micro. the problem is:marauders have lower dps and need more than 10 shoots (> 15 seconds) to kill a zealot, whereas a ball of marines is faster in killing a ball of zealots. if zealots have charge, they slice through everything though, cause concussive shells doesnt work on that.

@Wingman7033 and maybe u don't build siege tanks in tvp either? until zealots get charge (watch out for splash damage from tanks), they are pretty effective.i think, the best way to counter zealots with charge is with hellions, because zealots are actually considered a light unit.

@Unicron187 i dont useily go tanks aginst toss, i find that mmm (as boring as that is) is most effective, more so with vikings (vs colossi) and ghosts (for emp vs high temps or sentries). alas, my late game macro is pretty bad, so i try not to let the tvp go to late game.

@Wingman7033 just add 6 - 8 siege tanks to that. they dont get caught off-guard by forcefields (because they dont move) and if stalkers blink into them to take them out, it usually leaves the sentires, colossi, temps and void rays totally exposed for the rest of your army. you probably lose all the tanks, but the protos loses all the stalkers, colossi sentries, temps and most of the void rays. then, counterpush with mmm and go for the win. almost always works out for me.

To be fair, Husky is actually one of the most observant casters out there. Don't be fooled by his comedic style: he actually does a ton of research on players, maps, and strats, which is why I enjoy his casts. Everyone makes mistakes, but I wouldn't say he makes a lot :)
