I used to use the 2 race strategy. I was never very good but I liked it. I would use protoss, wait until my teamate had a huge number of svc's or drones, mind control it and then use it to build a secondary race advantage. It didn't really work for me because I couldn't macro very well but it might work for you if the protoss still have that ability.

What's with the waypoints you put on your hatcheries? I've noticed its not a simple one point rally, you've got rallies running between hatcheries and always do.

What is the point/benefit of this?

@MadBagOfHorses to my *fairly uneducated* understanding, one rally point is for the workers, one is for actual army units. i thought i heard mention of it in one of either Husky's or HD's vids before.. but i could very well be wrong ^^;

7:36 you should have had Zerglings to counter the Stalkers and maybe some Spine Crawlers. You had over 1000 minerals.

If you didn't have Larva you could have made another Hatchery just to be able to produce more units.

Sentries aren't good counter only for Mutalisks but for all Zerg units since most of them are melee or short range units.

Sentries supported by bunch of Colossus with weapon range upgrade will destroy almost any Zerg army.

Block the Zergs with force fields and let Sentries and Coossus toast them.

Force Field costs 50 energy so 1 sentry can use it 4 times. 20 Sentries can use 80 Force Fields. They really are overpowered against Zerg.

Against those Carriers, the Zerg should use Corruptors. Corruptors deal extra damage to massive units, such as Battlecruisers, Carriers, Motherships, and Colossi.

they need to get an upgrade. The upgrade is tier 2 and lets the roach get the regeneration, move while burrowed, speed upgrade, and gives it burrow. Blizzard moved the regen to a research because roaches were to overpowered

microing units is basically taking advantage of tactical uses of the unit that aren't in its abilities.

So in this case , he was using the roachs ranged attack to attack , then move back so they roachs get hit less often while still doing damage.

If you send say for example 4 muta's in, break them into two groups of two and 'juggle' them in and out of range of the void rays....assuming the void rays don't chase you do you think it would help at all?

This is why Hydras need to switch places with Roaches to become tech 1 again, if those void rays would have attacked you first, you'd have NO units what so ever that can even attack air, besides the queen.

If protoss goes void ray rush vs zerg, its insta-win. Because there simply are no tech 1 zerg units that can attack air. That has to change :)

If anything, these last two videos have clearly proven something for SC2: Photon Cannons are a luxury for defense rather than anything effective. Build them only for where you won't be paying too much attention, rather than relying on them.

In both video instances, Photon Cannons were easily demolished by groups of common units.
