  • I know I am not adding much of worth to the debate here but I love Nina Power she is one of the most exciting thinkers in the UK at the moment. If you haven't read her book yet please do so. Saw her talk in London last year, her students are very lucky!

  • I think your next challenge is to reclaim leadership in order to end genocide, war, pollution, the hoarding of resources. Don't get me wrong, men are great and they bring a lot of positivity to humanity. But our world has no balance, and it's time for woman to make moves to replace male leaders.

If every single male leader was replace by a woman, we would end most of our problems within 10 years tops.

  • @joshclemente and if we replace them by black-jew-lesbian-underage-women we end our problems in 1 year? I love your logic.

  • @joshclemente You can replace current "leaders" with whatever you want: afroamericans, chinese, women, children and so on and so on, it will not change system itself and it will also not change the mentality of those responsible for the system, thus nothing will basically change. So called world leaders are only minor puppets dancing to the music of those who control money system. There's huge illusion that the problem itself lies in the leadership. Problem lies deep in the society itself, too...

  • Woman and class summed up---Education is power. Sex is power. You use what you can from your play book to make it in life.

So many academics seem to miss the obvious. Study can open your mind, but without experiencing life first hand, it can also make your mind flabby . THINK! Don't just recite.

  • The emergence of women's rights .. feminism and consumerism have all emerged hand in hand .. The architects of capitalism realised that women in work can be taxed and are more likely to aquire credit / debt .. So say the Rockerfellers ..

  • excellent analysis of current issues for feminists and society as a whole. Well done !

  • This is wonderful and, at 3:23, hilarious.

I think I might have liked the video even more if the camera had been zoomed out a bit, but maybe that wasn't possible. Anyway, the lecture's brilliant, thanks for uploading it.

  • She makes excellent points about the misguided mainstream feminism of today. Thanks for uploading.

  • This is genius to focus on life opportunities as key to understanding how our identities are 'available' to us. The richer woman with the confidence, time, and access to discourse to discover sex elitism, while others do not as if they were sinning. we can't deny the determinants of these paths: jobs and love. thus it is a 'jobs and love' gap.

though maybe she gives up on the useful things culture can do for our universal emancipation from gatekeeper short-sightedness (both sexes i mean).

  • @Charlesdance I kinda agree, but you are far more stupid.
