The council could usefully raise the road at this point so it's flat and level with the roundabout so that: (1) there are no more floods here and (2) traffic can get onto the roundabout on the too-short green phase of the lights. There is always a ridiculous tailback here, every single morning, and for nothing. The lights and "dip" CAUSE the tailback! First thing to do is demolish the ugly apartments seen on the left in this video - the dictionary definition of inappropriate development.
ok, i live in donny and i NREALY got flooded, i live off york road. thgat flood was after, the blockbusters next to kfc was flooded and it now smells. that flood wasnt hisgh. that street was closed offf wen it was like 3 metres. i went on my mountain bikend i didnt see my wheel wen i was in it. water was coming out the houses fast and that road is right next to river don.
i live like 5 mins away from there - i was there that day aswell - today it was 10times as bad though they clozed the road off and the water was upto the door at KFC and the tile shop at the other side of the carpark the water was going though the building. =(

it's not really appropriate football banter when people are actually dying though, is it?
