ok soo... i got mine done..on feb 10th and now its feb 29th... it just pinches...it doesnt rlly hurt tht bad..well comming from a 14 yt old. my best friend hannah got hers done shes 12 she said it didnt hurt. it just pinched. i would recommend tht yu get it without clamps bc the clamps hurt like hell and stops the blood flow thts y yu dont rlly feel the needle.so i got mine done w.o the clamps.the 1st couple says its a little sore sitting down or standing up or getting up from laying down.

@crystalrunewicz after abt a week or 2 yu can change the balls... i changed mine today and this would b the 3rd week of having mine done(: tbh i thought i was going to die when i got mine pierced but then after she was all done and i didnt know she put it in well all i felt was a little pinch.. i thought she used her nails.then i asked when she was done if she was going to put the needle thru she told me tht it was already thru..so tbh it just pinched a little..it depends with yur pain tolerance

@Everyone It hurts about a 3 out of 10, because it's quick. The feeling is like getting a blood test or shot, but not as bad. Because afterwards you have a beautiful piece of jewelry instead of a spongebob sticker over it.

Look at videos and comments, none of them say it hurt..just don't worry. You won't die.

It honestly feels like a pinch. It also depends on how skinny/chubby/fat you are. I am on the chubbier side so it didn't hurt and because it is my 2nd time doing it so I knew what to expect but even the first time, it wasn't "painful." The stomach area also doesn't have a lot of nerves so that is why it could be less painful vs. other areas (eye brown, nipples, etc...) That's what my piercer told me :)

That was long. Mine took like at the most 30 seconds to get done and it looks awesome. And I stood up when I got it done. I agree with you it doesn't hurt much. I mean it stings for a second and then it's done but admittedly an hour or so later it's feel like a bruise and for a few days yea it'll hurt. But after that as long as you don't pull it it won't hurt.:)

I'd say you better don't get your hips pierced, i did that, and 2 years later they had to cut my piercings out in the hospital... It all looks nice and good, but after a while, it only gives you trouble. I got 2 belly button piercings (one up and one down), and i can say it's no problem to get those. Also nose, lip and tongue, i had no problems with that. Always think twice. Good luck ;))

@CosmeticsFTW Mmm... I think thats normal. It shouldn't hurt too bad, but it should probably still be a little uncomfortable. Its still healing so its going to be a little irritated. There is this sea salt stuff that you can use to clean it, it will get rid of the infection if there is one. But for now, I would follow the after care instructions that were given to you after it was pierced. And try not to touch it until it's healed.

I got mine done friday & I didnt think it hurt at all. The only thing is if you have tough skin it could take a few extra seconds to push the needle through but you won't even feel the needle when you get it pierced. I thought it was gonna really hurt but it don't its totally worth it!

@kickedinthetwins The shop provides it. I don't think they will pierce it with something you bring in for sanitation reasons. You can usually get the plain metal bar looking one with the package of the piercing, but i paid extra to get a cuter one :D
