@ZeroPhoenix7497 series, they had to lower firing rate, add smoke obscuring view and reduce the damage to make it a fair weapon, in the result the waepon was medicore in aiming damage and firing ratio but the NOOBS APLAUDED! noobs.. i mean casuals cause thats what they are called these days didnt like being translocator owned in ctf so trans had its trajectory fucked, its ammo recharge speed lowered and most importantly after it was damaged it could not be recalled, in ut2003
@ZeroPhoenix7497 it worked like this: if youre smart you leave trans in enemy base upon picking the flag up and ran- if you score you could then teleport to the enemy flag room where you left your trans instantly and take the flag again. If your trans got damaged and you teleported to it- you died, if you used camera in it and seen it sparks and is damaged you could recall it and thus not die and still use it. In ut2004 it was made so that you couldnt recall it when its damaged
@ZeroPhoenix7497 thus you even tho you had the knowledge to leave it and the knowledge to check it for damage you couldnt use it when it was damaged untill you recovered it manualy by picking it from the ground. and finaly the menu music of ut2004 is the perfect summ up of all the changes the ut2004 did to aply to the casuals, the track is ok, its obvious remix of the ut99 theme but its obviously a step back in awesomness, it doesnt get you rallied up like the ut2003 one does.
@86Corvus you know i agree with all of this but i must say for me ut03 wasnt the best utgoty still holds the top spot for me. the only thing i got that angers me with ut games is this. ut 1 assault mode (most fun mode out them all for me) ut03 no assault mode, ut04 assault mode... ut3 no assault mode... see what i mean make up your freaking mind and just keep the fkin assault mode i say but no i bet they forgo that mode again.

PC gamers are the only real gamers left, truthfully. Most of the console crowd is sucked up with 3D, motion sens crap and flavour of the month games. Vet pc gamers will always recognize a real pro. made game.
This was the only title theme I thought at the time could rival the title theme to the original Deus Ex. It became one of my favorites. The game problems but Epic came through including all the UT2003 content + a headset in UT2004. The only complaint I had when UT2004 was released was that they left out this theme :( but kept it in the music folder.
This has made my day. Ultra loud on epic speakers make me feel like a God, nay, a CHAMPION! If only UT3 had the old Liandri Tournament Ladder, and the way cooler announcements and this kind of music.
I was just eye shopping back in when i was 6th grade, then I saw this. I was like "Wow finally a new UT series? I can't wait to play it!" Then I purchased it, came back home.I was shocked and stunned by the audio (the main theme that I will never forget), intro, graphics, gun designs, character designs, voices, gameplay, gun shooting feeling. Just every bit of this game was outstanding and legendary. I never rebuy game even I lost CD, but I just did from amazon. This game is just that awesome.

If you don't fly into a horrible PTSD flashback every time you hear the phrase "Two Weeks" it means you never truly experienced Unreal Tournament 2003.
i think this game was so awesome... this is the shooter that will give an example to follow for generations... the levels, powerups, weapons, game types, and vehicles in 2004 was so satisfying... and the idea of the tournaments too :)
Do what you did with UT2003 and 2004 but better! What I mean is sell UT 2010 then every year unleash a new season of Unreal Tournament at very little cost and since everyone is online now you could release the new season as a 15 dollar online update. Along with that have a standalone tournament application aimed at keeping track of leaderboards and current battles with the ability to spectate the top end players scheduled matches like a real sport
See this series could have been continued as almost a sports series with the football tunes like this one and the lighthearted style UT3 was like someone spilled gears of war in my unreal and tried to strap a story onto something that I wanted to be just pure entertainment

i think this game was so awesome... this is the shooter that will give an example to follow for generations... the levels, powerups, weapons, game types, and vehicles in 2004 was so satisfying... and the idea of the tournaments too :)

Do what you did with UT2003 and 2004 but better! What I mean is sell UT 2010 then every year unleash a new season of Unreal Tournament at very little cost and since everyone is online now you could release the new season as a 15 dollar online update. Along with that have a standalone tournament application aimed at keeping track of leaderboards and current battles with the ability to spectate the top end players scheduled matches like a real sport

See this series could have been continued as almost a sports series with the football tunes like this one and the lighthearted style UT3 was like someone spilled gears of war in my unreal and tried to strap a story onto something that I wanted to be just pure entertainment

and i think UT3 was okay. nothing too special though.
