@epundo3 but i think that that is eno's point in this app, and in the other ambient generating software he has done before ( eg koan), that you don't need to be a pro..you just need a machine set up with some scale rules / repeat rules etc,and then press. unlike when eno invented ambient music ...when you had to make physical loops of tape etc.

towards the bottom of the device, the notes are lower in scale. towards the top, higher.

My favourite iPhone app. Such a joy to be able to make beautiful music and patterns. It's great to set it off and play it very softly beside my pillow when I am wanting to sleep or chill out. Eno's work continues to delight and inspire me.

I like this and I love Brian Eno's work (and what he has contributed to bands like U2 for example) but is there something more to the program than just messing around like this? Can you record the sounds or anything like that?

I don't know whether to get this or Star Melody, both seem very nice and the Lite-version of Star Melody is great.
