Then in the 1930s that focus shifted to anti-Communism and anti-Semitism to gain support from wealthy business owners. However the Nazis being Left or Right wing really has nothing to do with how they became a dictatorship. National socialism was neither left nor right, per se. It combined left-wing socialist economic policies with right-wing nationalist social policies.
This is in contrast to Fascism, which had the same social policies, but a much more right-wing set of economic policies, and thus more resembles the "far-right".

in order for godwin's law to be valid, it MUST be used to during an INTERNET discussion (i.e. chat room or forum). so for example, if someone were to get into an argument on here about the validity of your video and one of those people said that you're a communist not unlike Hitler and his Nazi movement, that would be a correct example of godwin's law. and the accuser would, of course, lose the argument.

Godwin's law was an observation made by Mike Godwin in 1989 (he's general counsel for Wikipedia) stating that any online discussion, given enough time, will eventually end in someone making an analogy (that's a comparison) to Hitler or the Nazis. That person loses the argument, simply because the argument has devolved (gotten so bad) that there's really no point continuing.
