Does anyone know if the holy spirit can cause you to see Jesus. I want to recreate that moment so I can see him again and fill that filling it kinda felt like love, peace, and hope all rolled into one, but really it wasn't any those I can't explain it. That day was better than even when my son was born i never felt anything like it since. I knew if i felt anymore of that filling I would die no wonder Gods going to have to give us new bodys so we can fill more of it. These bodys couldnt hold it.

It is not only that God put a standard that man couldn't live up to, but also that Jesus had to live up to. Jesus did and then offered himself up for us. He didn't do it for Himself, He did it for us. He did it so that a man could even call God a dick, and still be forgiven. Truly Amazing!

You're right; God has a standard no one can live up to. That's why Jesus died on the Cross, because no one can get to Heaven on their own. That's the message: Jesus died on the Cross so we could get to Heaven. As Rich Mullins concisely put it, "We're not saved because we're good; we're good because we're saved."
As a christian, I understand that. But when somebody has the mentality that God is a "dick" you can't argue with them. They have their opinion and that's that. You, as a christian, can however do 2 things. LIVE the life and pray for the person you're concerned for.
BTW, I'm a huge Rich Mullins fan. I named my son after the "Let Mercy Lead" song. One of the coolest guys he was.

He has already Blessed me beyond words. I am very much at peace. I am well taken care and for that I don't have to worry. My sister passed of it at the age of 10 when I was 8. I am 40 and since I was diagnosed in the Marine Corps, they pay for everything. Plus, they give me a lot of money as long as I stay alive, tax free money too. How true. I personally have struggled with my faith for a very long time. I always beleived in God but never really put my trust in it. Praying really dose help when you do it. My dad was addicted to drugs really bad I prayed to god everyday that he went to rehab, I did it everyday and 2 weeks later it happened! He has now been clean 14 months I love you dad!
God gave me a second chance in life doctors told my mom and dad I wasn't going to make it thro my heart transplant so my dad went and prayed and saw an angel that day he talked to her she didn't say she was an angel she said she worked at the hospital when my dad went to tell her thx for praying with me the hospital said I don't know anybody by that name who works here it was an ANGEL!!! You're right; God has a standard no one can live up to. That's why Jesus died on the Cross, because no one can get to Heaven on their own. That's the message: Jesus died on the Cross so we could get to Heaven. As Rich Mullins concisely put it, "We're not saved because we're good; we're good because we're saved."

As a christian, I understand that. But when somebody has the mentality that God is a "dick" you can't argue with them. They have their opinion and that's that. You, as a christian, can however do 2 things. LIVE the life and pray for the person you're concerned for.
BTW, I'm a huge Rich Mullins fan. I named my son after the "Let Mercy Lead" song. One of the coolest guys he was.

Theologically speaking, Jesus died to exemplify unrewarded obedience as the primary of morality, not to help you, or anyone else, out. unrewarded obedience is the standard no one can live up to, not vicarious atonement, as many innocent incarcerants in America so frequently are forced to demonstrate.

All the Holy Ghost in the world never seems to create any real lasting respect for the sovereignty of the individual, which concept is required for you to have been "saved" in the first place. You make enforcement of Christian values a state (read: violent) matter, instead of keeping your social and spiritual experiment PRIVATE, like St. Paul expected.

There is so much to be said we could never cover it here. But yes, Jesus ascended out of the sight of his disciples in his body which was glorified. The Angel said, Why are you gazing up? Thos same Jesus will come in like manner as you see him go. That happened on The Day of Pentecost. Read the book of Acts
2nd chapter. I'm only saying the rapture and yes even the man made concept of heaven is a carnal dissapointment to the truth of God's word. I've had people tell me I'm lost because of this.

what you said about" rapture is a blessing to be albe to ask our God for wisdom and not to stay in the valley and die. it help me pray and ask God to show it to me if what you are saying is true. which Jesus spirit brought me to Matthew 24. what the Lord have showed to me while reading ths chapter, only one verse had taken out and that verse is in verse 40 of matthew chapter 24. and concluded as a rapture. it's like a christmas tree which other people beleive it's an idol and God forbid it.

At least the signs of the book of Revelation is beginning to emerge, its like the Global Financial Crisis is a baby soon growing to be the Great Tribulation period. Jesus Christ is coming, because He promised a rest on the 7th day(1000 yrs=1 day for God) and we are in the 6th day and up, anytime now maybe seconds after you read this message rapture will start, and not even heavens nor the angels know when Christ will come, only God knows, so we must be ready for He will come like a thief.

He has already Blessed me beyond words. I am very much at peace. I am well taken care and for that I don't have to worry. My sister passed of it at the age of 10 when I was 8. I am 40 and since I was diagnosed in the Marine Corps, they pay for everything. Plus, they give me a lot of money as long as I stay alive, tax free money too. Lorib is right. Hell I never cried before being that tough Combat marine I am. But as the Cancer eats my body, I wonder why I never let the tears flow as they do today. I cry hearing this song and I cry righting this. It does help.. I just want people to know that I am proud to be a Marine, and they take great care of me. Don't listen to those stories. How true. I personally have struggled with my faith for a very long time. I always beleived in God but never really put my trust in it. Today, I put my complete trust in God and asked God for forgiveness and guidance. At that moment I felt a peace within me. Despite all the problems I have none of it matters. Because when it is all said and done I can say with complete certainty that I am going to Heaven, and I can't wait. Praise God!

This song was played at my fiancee's funeral. What hope we have as Christians knowing that when we die we will be reunited at long last with our Savior and our loved ones! Praise his Name forever and always!

Oh, that you would believe and put your faith in the only Name that has the power to save both jew and gentile. Jesus. The Son of the living God and a Jew himself who became the sacrifice for our sins that we may have the promised eternal life. Isaiah 53:5-6 says he was wounded for our transgression. He was bruised for our iniquities, and by his stripes we are healed.
Please put your faith in His finished work on the cross for our sins.

Bad things can happen to believers. The Bible is full of examples of believers whose faith kept them going thru thosae times. Even death for our Savior. Faith does not keep you from trials but keeps you going thru them....looking to the prize who is Jesus himself.

I',m now fourteen.
I have turned and rebelled.
I drink, I smoke, I cuss alot and party hard.
I'm starting hate who I am becoming.
I do believe in the Lord. I'm a christian.
I'm just not as strong as I would like to be.
And I'm going through alot and its hard for me to understand sometimes and I often get confused. Even on my faith.
But, I guess I'll start praying again. Because I do believe he can do something Wonderful for me.

Hang in there..even us 49 yr olds struggle.. I've got a wife, 2 sons, 17 & 19, and we each are in this race together....and that includes you! The Bible says "despise not the day of small beginnings", and "the end of a matter is better than the beginning"... I believe those verses can be of special encouragement to you.

You are so much stronger than you think, have faith in yourself, as a child of God, a God who has great plans for your life - plans to prosper you and love you. Life is full of bad times but more importantly far more great times. 14 is a hard age, so much going on in your life, some many distractions, but if you reach out to Jesus and wrap yourself in his great love, you will make it through all these hardships and I know you will shine.

Im 14 too, and im going though almost the same thing. The key that helps me sometimes is have a plan every day were you read the bible, the stronger you arin the word, the stronger you will become.

Praying really dose help when you do it. My dad was addicted to drugs really bad I prayed to god everyday that he went to rehab, I did it everyday and 2 weeks later it happened! He has now been clean 14 months I love you dad!

God gave me a second chance in life doctors told my mom and dad I wasn't going to make it thro my heart transplant so my dad went and prayed and saw an angel that day he talked to her she didn't say she was an angel she said she worked at the hospital when my dad went to tell her thx for praying with me the hospital said I don't know anybody by that name who works here it was an ANGEL!!! I LOVE U GOD THX U FOR MY NEW HEART!!!!!!!!!!!
