@ISPANOS2001 yes... i agree, although it wouldn´t be bad to include them in the film, but the truth is that there are lots of deleted scenes in this video....

yeah what about any of the shootout scenes.. for a fucking 8:30 video . and no people getting gatted down like this movie has in it.. I'm extremely disappointed. Stupid "recommended" . I love this movie though.
It's nice when the sepia starts colouring in this clip. But this movie is not realistic, I was a bit moved maybe when I was a kid. This is very fantasy when you grow up as an adult. Oh, One-Hit-Wonder song of the Verbe! Where are they now? What I remember is his fat lips.
greatest hitman/little girl team-up movie EVER! I don't understand y Natalie didn't get a Young Star Award for her performance, or why Jean didn't get the Cesar Lion Award. stupid American awards chooser people. so damn picky!
I love this tribute. I love this movie. I wish there were more of a drama element at time. Im still waiting for that one. WHERE IS THIS AVAILABLE FREE TO WATCH ON THE NET?? CANY FIND IT Anywhere.
The people who love this movie for its romantic side refuse to let anyone else have another opinion (All comments deleted) or have another opinion at all full stop. Even a movie like this has George Bloody Bush shoved in to it.
Anyone claiming certain seens are below the belt will be called Homosexuals??
I'm not one for censorship but really this movie is a big hit in its own right its fans can afford to have some comments here that might be different. What do you lose by showing them?
i remember this tribute. and i remember being so obsessed with trying to watch that extra footage from the professional. turns out its from LEON the professional, so i bought that and am happy :)
this movie is my best movie ever. every time I see it or thinking about scenes I feel emotions. Gary acts wonderful off course but Nathalie Portman is even so amazing. that girl got so much talent at that age, but I guess she didn't used her talents later. the first time I saw the movie she impressed me that much.
INDEED, Yum!!!!!!!! I saw this movie in the theater when it first came out and it has been my favorite movie since!!!!!!!! I have probably watched it 30 times since and I still LOVE it!! Would be awsome if Portman,AND Aiello starred in a sequel(15 years later)!!!!!! As long as it's not too 'Matrix'- keep it simple and realistic,.. it would be great!!
i like how she contrasts being an adult and child, some moments acting like a girl her age normally would, but only rarely, and yet most of the time taking on challenges of people more than twice her age.
I agree no sequel should ever be made to this movie, plus it wouldn't really make sense(reno died), the heart of the movie was the relationship between reno and portman, and a sequel just wouldn't do the original justice.
well revenge against who? Leon killed the guy behind her familys death. so there really isnt anyone she can get revenge on. and it would be cool, but i dont think a sequel will actually work. thats just my two cents
it would work ... I believe ... but you'd need to find a great script to get it good. what makes leon a great movie is the relationship between them, not their backgrounds, not their problems nor the action scenes which can be found anywhere nowadays. It's the relationship between the 2 that makes a sequel so hard to piece together... but impossible is nothing, I can only wish for a sequel on par!
I have two problems. one is that why Gary oldman always plays a psycho asshole.(state of grace, leon, airforce one, romeo is bleeding and immortal beloved). he is the most type casted actor in hollywood. its very similar to tomee lee jones who always chases a entrapped criminal . second problem is that my instincts told me that the song which you people are mentioning from Requim of a dream is actually a symphony of Mozart . anybody help.
who said being type cast is a bad thing? who said you couldn't have a Mozart song in a movie tribute clip because said movie's antagonist loves Beethoven? Who said we needed to hear your problems?
Stan is a wonderful weird sick fuck character.:-) G.Oldman did a good job. btw , It's strange that the guy lets Mathilda walk and decided to make a move after she comes into Leon's place. did you use some deleted scenes ? I've never saw Mathilda put a gun against her head ,drinkin in a restaurant and shooting the spanish dude.
You probably saw the American version. The US has pretty harsh censuring so some scenes don't reach American public unless purchasing/downloading the "special edition".
the very best!!! Leon was a sweetie. I wish there were more good films like this out. I feel robbed when I go see a movie or take the time to rent and it's poorly made. I can appreciate good filmmakers.
my favorite part is the ending when leon gives the police man the ring to the greanade. It shows how giving up a life to save another. I love my plant! :)

2kings619 4 years ago 4
Totally agree, a sequel would not be a good idea particularly as rather importantly he killed himself!
You might get away with a prequel, but I think we should leave a classic piece a film making alone as a stand alone classic.

I agree no sequel should ever be made to this movie, plus it wouldn't really make sense(reno died), the heart of the movie was the relationship between reno and portman, and a sequel just wouldn't do the original justice.

I have two problems. one is that why Gary oldman always plays a psycho asshole.(state of grace, leon, airforce one, romeo is bleeding and immortal beloved). he is the most type casted actor in hollywood. its very similar to tomee lee jones who always chases a entrapped criminal . second problem is that my instincts told me that the song which you people are mentioning from Requim of a dream is actually a symphony of Mozart . anybody help.
manidar1977 4 years ago
1) Gary oldman is just one of those people who plays a psycho asshole and he pulls it off naturally
It just his gift
2) maybe the whole fact between mozart and beethoven music are always being confused.
Also requiem for a dream has calm and action in it notes so i guess it just his personal choice of music
