you can only do it once, once you quit doing it, you can't do it again. so tape down the button and leave it over night

No, any time should be fine, just as long as you have the hologuise equipped.

acctually you can only do it once per save. once you do it you cant do it again till you enter challenge mode

Oh. Well i guess it's a glitch within a.. glitch. That happened to me, so try exiting the race several times if you see that the crates haven't respawned again.

Hey, i'd just like to let you that you can leave also by just hoping in the water, he'll sit there for a bit, and then you'll die, and go back to the beginning of the level, with all the bolts you've collected, incase you wanted to know.
