i tried that setup and i would put a redstone torch under the door and it would open up but when i have redstone wire under it and powered it would not work

Next time you want to wire a door like that use an RS NOR Latch. They are as compact as you want them to be. Much more compact than a T flip flop and they accomplish the same thing. Plus you don't need to waste pistons.

@JAA228 Actually if you use an RS NOR Latch you would need a pressure plate inside to open the door but that's not a bad thing. In fact you could use a button outside and a pressure plate inside. So when you come inside you wouldn't have to press a button again you would just step on the pressure plate and that would close the door.

I think you were overthinking the wiring for that T Flip-flop just a bit :D You just need to get the input to one of those two redstone wires on the top of the Flip-flop (but not go over those 2 torches on the end)

The wiring to connect the button was a bit messy, no need to loop it around the backside of the flip/flop like that. Can't wait for the next episode of Minecraft Men :)

Luclin, try using mcslimes . appspot . com to find slimes. All you have to do is upload the level.dat file and enter your coordinates and it will give u regions of where slimes spawn, then just go to one and start digging down til layer 5 or 6.

Luclin the problem is that the buttom is too close to the door so when you activate the buttom it gives 2 pulses(one for the door one for the T flip flop) so when you click it will automatically open the door and then the t flip flop is going to close the door (it is like the t flip flop doesn't exist )

@CaPnKnUcKL3Z haha a pressure plate at the door is one of the worse way to open it cuz anything that is following you while you are doing home can also go into your house.. a lever will only work at inside/outside well one of those.. a button is quite annoying cuz sometimes the door will shut on you before you go in xD!!!
