Hello ... I am an eyelash extentionist trained three years now with Lavish Lashes. I have been trying out different glues and was wondering if you could please tell me which glue you use (brand). I don't know if it's because of the humidity in my country ( i live in the Trinidad) but i find some glues just don't last as long. Please send me an answer ... great work!
Here in Dallas the best price for putting on the initiate set, it range from $265 - 300 dollars. The up keep which need to be done every 2 weeks range $60 to 80 dollars. Doing these hard economic time, not everyone can afford these prices. This is a hard task to do on yourself. Get your BFF (best friend forever) practice on each other and you guys learn how to do this for each other. This would save a bunch of money. If you get good at it, do it for others, makes some extra money on the side.
It doesn't have to cost that much, if you go to your local hair and beauty college they charge around £3.50 - £7.00 per eye. This is cheap and they are training so that does come as a risk but then your saving money and giving the trainees practice so its up to you.
On the right side just under my picture you will see "more info" click on that and all the info about eyelashes (including how long they last) will be there..
I must say that the process of places those individual lashes are somewhat consuming but the after effect is spectacular, they look so natural.. I've also learn it depends on the person how much activities are done with the eyes that would allow you to preserved them for about 4 weeks if they are well taken care of or more .. But love your work girl 2 thumbs up!
Thanks for making this video! I hope to try extensions sometime soon!
I have extremely sensitive skin and eyes, and I am allergic to everything they put in lotions and make-up. I can only use a bit of oil to moisturize and a tiny bit of mineral make-up.
My hope is that the glue used for lash extensions would not touch my skin and therefore would not irritate the skin around my eyes.
I am also allergic to surgical tape, so wonder how those under eye patches and tape would work. . .
The model you used in your demo is beautiful, and the lashes enhanced her beauty even more, it's a shame some individual feel the need to make unflattering remarks!
You are demonstrating ignorance and idiocy... Those lips are hers NATURALLY from birth... what's the point writing about something you don't even know...
I was wondering about what type of adhesive are you using, it seems to dry quickly and do you have a online product shop? Very interested in the type of lashes that you use.
i am a nail tech interested in learning the eyelash extansion method-i own a small studio-and i noticed that you don't place the lashes in sequel. It looks-even if i'm sure of your awareness-that you pick the hairs in random order, but if so, how do you find where you were last? And how can you be sure that you have not left any natural lash unextended? Is it for letting the glue dry? It is the only reason i can think .
i am in a small village in Greece and training is a big deal, pls help
The reason for working on both eyes at the same time is:
1. Glue dries and eyelashes do not stick together
2. You will always create even look (many customers come to me and are shocked how even they look and complain about their old techs making one eye fuller than the other
3. You do not strain one eye for too long as you are working on both - more comfy for client.
Always apply an eyelash in a same place where you did on the other - that way you wont get lost.. Good luck! :)
Hi, I recently took training for lash extensions (Canada) and I must say your work is very impressive...one thing I was wondering about is what type of adhesive are you using, it seems to dry quickly and do you have a online product shop? Very interested in the type of lashes that you use.
I took this course last November with the company Lavish lashes. Since then I've watched alot of other vids and your work is the best. Clean and perfect, I love your end results.
I got this done before going on vacation and they lasted about 3 weeks. Love it for wake up and go! I'm learning this procedure in school and it takes lotsss of practice!
Very cool step by step video I love the fact I could see you apply without using the flare lashes. What type of glue would you recommend that would help for long lasting? Also about how much longer does this process long compared to the flare lashes?
Hey :) The glue that I use is professional eyelash extension glue from Lash Perfect - these individual eyelashes last approx. 3-4 weeks before needing an infill.. :) It takes approx. 1hr 40 mins to 2 hrs to apply a full set :)
Nice, I have short eyelashes and I have the hardest time putting these on (I get the glue everywhere the lashes are ALWAYS crockett) its a horrible mess. Anyway, thanks for the vid, it had good tips to follow. I'll try them and let you know how it goes...
you will remove the make-up without rubbing the eyelashes, removing everything carefully around them and on them using OIL FREE make-up remover. It doesn't matter if your eyelashes are very straight or slightly curly. You can still use mascara (water-based) lash extension companies have specially made mascaras which will not compromise the bond.
Is it hard to be careful enough not to get glue in their eyes? Has it ever happened to you? Any advice, i'm just nervous having glue that close to a clients eyes
No it is not hard at all and it has never happened to me and I doubt it will. With correct training and products such possibility of glue getting into eye is close to zero. Do not worry :)
The price is different from country to country, but in UK the average price is £70. However it is hard to say as some techs charge anything from £40 - £90, I have also seen techs who are starting off charging from £20, but salons can charge anything up tp £150... Hope this helps :)
Hi, :) Individual eyelash extensions can last from 3 weeks to 6 weks (some lashes will fall out now and then but otherwise with correct care they will look great for 3 weeks after that you may begin to notice that they do not look as thick anymore and you may want a professional to remove them or you can keep them on and wait while they all fall out)
hi! This procedure is impossible to do on yourself as your eyes need to be closed in order to protect yourself. Also individual eyelash needs to be applied close to lash line and with closed eyes this is dangerous. Videos encouraging to apply individual eyelash extensions on yourself have no regard to their own eye safety. Anyway they wouldn't last as long if you did them on yourself as application would not be correct at all. Thank you :)
i've heard a mixed of procedures...when u apply them...it should take up 2/3 of your real lashes..and leave at least 1/3 of space between your skin and the extensions?
it should definitely not take 2-3 lashes - that's why it's individual eyelash extensions, but some technicians make this excuse because its quite hard to just use one eyelash because eyelashes stick together... And approx. 1 mm should be left between skin and the extensions. Thank you!!
On most clients I use thick lashes (0.15 mm) as this compliments the eyes and gives a natural look with that hint of mascara. Also on this model I used thick lashes. I think extra thick only suit few cients whose natural lashes are thicker than usual. I use fine lashes for clients whose natural lashes are very thin and short, this way fine thickness lashes do not put too much pressure and do not make the natural lashes feel heavy.
Just examine your clients lashes before the application and determine what type of lashes she has and which thickness would suit her the best. Thank you, x

I think they last till your eyelash fall, an eyelash last for about a month, so you'll have to renew it every month, or a bit more for touch ups

hi, i've never bought fake eyelashes before so...
-do you throw single eyelashes away after 1 use?
-and are they easier or more difficult to apply that regular full sized eyelashes?
- what brand would you recommend?
thanks :)
hellorachael1 2 years ago
Hi,
You should not do this at home - they will not last as long and you could do some damage to your eye.
-I use professional brand Lash Perfect - this cannot be purchased without certificate as glue is strong and can only be used by professional.
-Single eyelashes are thrown away once they fall out
- they are more difficult to apply than full sized eyelashes

you will remove the make-up without rubbing the eyelashes, removing everything carefully around them and on them using OIL FREE make-up remover. i have a few questions about individual lashes.
1) how long the lashes would last. So like if I got them this morning, how long would it be until a professional takes them off?
2)will having a shower with the individual lashes have any affect to your lashes?
3)when getting the lashes taken off, do your natural lashes ever get taken off along with the fake lashes because of the adhesive?
I'm new to the individual eyelashes.
Thank you.
