I have to disagree with people who say Aerosmith sucked in the 80s and 90s. First of all, Rock in Hard Place was released in 82....some good stuff on it. 1985's Done with Mirrors....some good stuff on it. 1987's Permanet Vacation...some good tunes on that. 1989's Pump....good stuff. 1993 Get a Grip...good stuff on that as well. 1997 Nine Lives...not my fave, but some good tunes. Keep in mind, some albums or some songs are better live anyways BUT to say Aerosmith sucked them days is bullshit.

Although I enjoy post-80s Aerosmith,I enjoy it as though it's a completely different band that just happens to be called Aerosmith with all the same members.It's not as good as any of their old material.It's sad really because at one point,Aerosmith was a well respected band who put out solid records.Nowadays,the band is a joke.Especially Steven Tyler.American Idol?Seriously?If his mom was still alive I bet he would sell her out just to make a buck.He's worse than Scott Ian

Yeah Joe Perry is jealous, that's why nothing gets played off this album. He said (in WTW the book) that while he was out ofAerosmith he was doing solo records, playing clubs, making prgress while Aerosmith only made trash like RIAHP!! Still love Joe though....., it's not really Aerosmith without him. Just wish they'd play this song live!
