  • I agree all the crap today they call country music ....they don't have a clue. We use to always rate songs by the # of beers it called for and this one was a 4

  • This crap they call Country Music is straight out of LA and NYC. It ain't country and it ain't real! It is just more Chick stuff.....

  • @Polecatmtn , 100% agree!!!

  • @polecatmtn and @flashbell

  • @Polecatmtn

10-4 good buddy! Can't stand today's country, or do I dare even call it country.

  • been there...done that....and if i get the notion..i will do it again......

  • BEST BAR ROOM SONG AROUND.MOE BANDY THE KING OF BEER SONGS

  • this is typical of what country...real country offered all the time at one time but it's changed significantly...afterall the girls they promote nowadays aren't even old enough to go into a bar and get served....

  • I'm an alcoholic in recovery, and these songs don't cause me any problem. I loved 'em before I became a drunk and I will continue to do so.

  • i love to get drunk on this song! Plus get drunk, enjoy a good ol' fashion fist fight or a good bar fight! My most favorite beer drinkin' song!

  • One of my favorite beer drinkin' songs to get drunk on! Hell yeah' party on! Get drunk! Enjoy a good bar fight, shake hands and buy each other a beer!

  • i remember what it use to be like. when i was young i went for fast cars, fast women and fast food. ha,ha.

  • It is nice to hear real country music here because radio stations just want to play all that crap now for some reason.

  • i been that way a few times when i use to drink.

  • I'll drink to that.

  • LMFAO, I used to listen to this song and all the other country songs on the jukebox drunk out of my mind as a young man. Seems funny now hearing the same old songs on youtube after celebrating 19 years sobriety in AA this year.

  • when was this song written? is it originally pre 65?

  • gosh i wish i had a dollar for every goodie power i had every weekend listening & dancing to this ,gosh those where the good ole days, love the song

  • Been many years since hearing this tune, which I used to play a lot on my radio show in KY. Loved Moe Bandy and wouldn't work for any station that refused to play his records. And many would not because he was thought to be too country. Imagine that. Too country for a country music station. Jerks who thought that way still in the business. Well, they couldn't keep Moe Bandy down by gosh. Talent will out. Thanks for posting this video. much appreciated.

  • I don't need to be drunk to like this song! HaHa!

  • I haven't heard this song since I was a small girl listening to it on my mother's old record player!!

  • GREAT SONG!!!

  • Great traditional honky tonk country music that you no longer hear on today's country radio. This is really is not about gettin' drunk, but having a good time as you do not have to get drunk to enjoy this song. It is more of a partying song! I say have some beers to enjoy this song. But if you want to get drunk with this song, enjoy as I have gotten drunk on it!

  • I'm staying on the wagon most of time, but everytime I hear this song I'm falling off the wagon.

  • Can't get any better than this....awesome!

  • I love gettin' drunk to this song! Moe Bandy sings the best beer drinkin' songs!

  • Oh My Goodness, blacked out in Sexy Harbour!!!

  • I love this singer, I don't drink much but like this kind of music. Thank you for sharing. *************s

    Dianne

  • Easy boys and girls, it's just a song. No one pushes a bottle to anyone's lips but the one that wants the drink!! Great country drinking song!! Moe doe's it really good!

  • True that . Give Me this over the American Idol pretenders we have with us today

  • Moe Bandy classic. I sure do miss this music, today's "country" music is crap. Hard to believe we had it so good back then...you could turn on the radio and hear Moe Bandy (don't forget Joe!), Conway, Johnnny, George, Waylon, Marty, Crystal, Tom T., ETC, Eddie Rabbitt, Paycheck, The Silver Fox, Don Williams and some many more--and they were all making music at the same time! It was truly country paradise.

  • @Harry44Callahan2 How true! More Jones--Less Carrie!

  • i said that a few times myself.

  • YEEHAAW!! I may NOT like drinking but one thing I do like is REAL Country Music and this my friends and strangers is REAL Country Music, I LOVE it!! YEEHAAW!!

Thanks to allmusic . c o m or I might NEVER have heard of this AUTHENTIC Country Music Singer. :)

  • ain't it the truth

  • Love your comment about the legends of country being tossed aside....couldnt agree more! All this guy ever had was great sound and talent....

  • This was my late husband fav singer

  • Your husband must've been a funny guy.

  • im drunk again lol

  • I'm recovering, too. Sobriety date December 19, 1981. I love this song. It makes me remember where I came from - and that's a good thing! I also like Swinging Doors, I Kept the Wine and Threw Away the Rose, and One Six Pack to Go! I wish I could just play them all at Speaker Meetings. Then I wouldn't have anything else to share! Well, maybe I could share about the recovery part, including my having the willingness to make amends to everyone I hurt when I was "out there".

  • Great song thanks for posting.

  • This one of most favorite beer drinkin' songs!

  • Moe is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks for the posting. Great song and great job my Moe. Think I'll have some cold ones and sing along!!!!

  • I'm with 164will; perfect honky tonk beat. Great song. Great performance.

  • Great honky tonk music, can't stop my foot tapping!

  • Outstanding*****

  • I love this song. Thanks for posting it.

  • That was my theme song for many years, but now I have been straight and sober for 19 years.

  • Just curious--as a recovering alcoholic, do you think these types of drinking songs are destructive?

  • No, B/C you have the power!!!

  • I'm a recovering alcoholic [27 years] & a long time country music player. I see no way that songs like this could be considered destructive if your program of recovery is active & strong enough. Personally I get a lift from good solid traditional country music regardless of the story line.

  • im a straight up alcoholic and i love up so my reply is prolly worthless, lol but anyways i dont find this song or songs like this destructive... i feel that for even those who dont drink this song helps us cope with life

  • @unauthorizedstyle people today would probly say im alcoholic ,we just used to call it a "heavy drinker" ,work hard drink hard just like merls says on "working mans blues"

  • we all have habits

  • @unauthorizedstyle . we all get some high somewhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @unauthorizedstyle Yeah, me too but don't tell anybody. I wish I could switch from destroying my liver to destroying my lungs but I've been doing both since I was 16. Too late now.

  • @wisegeorge365 and I'm already way to old to die young. Yes!

  • @unauthorizedstyle i cant even stop. lol

  • @unauthorizedstyle i love to drink!!!!!! lets have drink together

  • @unauthorizedstyle never your my best friend lets hook up and drink. lol

  • @unauthorizedstyle Welcome to my life text any time=865-268-6261

  • @clydebk there is no such thing as a destructive song you twelve stepping loser.

  • @clydebk

No. Been sober 9 years myself.

  • @clydebk The mind is the most destuctive tool to an alcoholic. Songs,Women, and anything we THINK too much about is our trigger. Or being as clever as us drunks are..Anything we DONT THINK about is our trigger. Sober since 2004 without AA.

  • Great! "Tear in my beer music"
