would be nice if the camera angles weren't constantly flashing all over the place. it makes it very difficult to see, let alone be impressed / replicate the technique................................
I'm giving this a low rating for being too showy, and not being informational enough.
I agree if you truely want to study the Art find a reputable Ryu School.
Very few people have succeeded using soley book and video.
You miss the whole essence and spirituality of the Art as it is intended.
Besides in the Uk its now fairly impossible to get hold of Katana with the new strigent amendments to the law,Theres no place for learning yourelf at home. You will hurt yourself or someone or even someone else will do so with your katana if you did get one.
Wow nice i like the flow! thanks for showing the vids. I'm sure that your videos help me on how to handle a Japanese sword, but I am using bokken rite now, so I am pretty much training :/. Good fight scenes btw :D
I dont think any kind of videos can teach you to handle a sword. Join an Iado club or smth like that, no way you can learn to control a sword on your own.
well thnks btw but this 1 is aight he got some basics on holding it. it is somewhere on his vid. i am 2 lazy to find it tho .-. but thnks for the advice on wut classes 2 take :D

... the swords they're using aren't tsurugi(s?). Tsurigi are by definition straight and double-edged, like chinese jians.

Many of those techniques are amazing. I just wish that such a "Club" would be near my home. Your sensei is a beast with a sword ;)
But just one question, why to sheath that slow ?

I love the work of the movie editor for Tsurugi videos. Entertaining and straight to the point!
