I swear, I just saw "The Wrestler," and if Mickey Rourke does not win Best Actor and it goes to Sean Penn, I will not watch the Oscars ever again.
It doesn't help that I hate Sean Penn anyway for winning the Oscar that should have belonged to Bill Murray for "Lost in Translation." All Penn did in "Mystic River" was cry like a baby.

Meryl Streep will win. She and Viola were so great in " Doubt " .. But Meryl is one of the best Actresses alive ! And she will win ;)

But the Academy Award Jury loves Meryl Streep. She has a chance. And I think she will win.

Penn, Winslet, Ledger, Cruz I think will be the winners. With SM getting Dir, Screenplay and Picture.

i want ur predictions to come true with one exception!..its a long shot but amy adams!....cruz wasnt very strong..i dunno thats what i think!

I would looove if Amy Adams won. I thought she was easily the best thing about Doubt and a lot more effective (IMO) than Davis. Davis' performance paled in comparison to Adrienne Lenox's in the stage version.
I want Penelope to win though because next to Sean Penn's in Milk, it was my favourite performance of 2008.

u have very good taste in movies...but i think out of all 5 amy was the best..but many people over looked her..i think she has a very good chance but i dunno..if cruz won id be happy too she is my second choice..hey what does IMO stand for? does it stand for In My Opinion?

And thanks. I really wouldn't mind Adams winning at all. I just don't wanna Viola to win, I wasn't impressed with her so much to have her win a flipping Oscar for it.
