Aw, loved wee Dougal and Ted and Dick Byrne and Father Jack Hacket (I got a book signed by him. He was so kind to everyone and he was shocked and shy to people and he was shocked because people of all different ages were lining up just to see him) and Mrs Doyle and Ciril and everyone. I love it.

Father Ted was the best show on Channel Four. It was a shame when Dermot passed away, eventhough if he lived he was no longer going to do any more episodes, the original ending for the Christmas episode was supposed to be Father Ted killing himself instead Dermot passed away before they competed it .... best show ever period...

Wonderful assortment of clips and very touching with the actual song by The Divine Comedy. Dermot passed more than ten years ago now and it still makes me sad. He left a wonderful legacy. Thanks for posting this.
