  • Remember when Fat Blue was the unreasonable one?

  • the sad thing is there are really people like this

  • Lol! At 2:15-2:20 Mr. Johnson looks like he's about to explodeXD

  • haha i didn't see THAT coming, I thought Grover would either

    a) lose count and decide to start from one

    b) Go on his break/say the shop is closed after 39

  • Yes, he is!!!

  • Does Anybody Have The Other Version Of This Sketch

With The Different Ending Where Mr. Johnson Has A 41 Slip?

  • what was the first episode? that that blue guy first met rover

  • @MrCocosugar IDK

  • Your an idiot humantarget211

  • @Pug40 No, He's Not!!!

  • I know that Grover is getting back at Mr Blue for when Blue drove *him* nuts at the restaurant in the first few skits, but Grover is going too far here. As much as I love these skits, this one is going too far. If I were in a position like Mr Blue is here, I would literally strangle the employee and shove the number in his mouth. I'm not even joking.

  • @HumanTarget211 Me Neither

  • If Mr. Johnson didn't want any trouble he should have ran as soon as he saw Grover, right?

  • @NaiTaiDai Right

  • that woman totally jumped on top of fat blue LOL!!!!

  • @Pug40 OMG!

  • At the end Johnson had a stroke! LOL

  • @MrTornado300 Poor Mr. Johnson

  • Its so funny and poor blue.:)

  • I can watch these shows over and over . They never get old.

  • What year is this?

  • Grover is being too unreasonable. my symphaty to Fat Blue

  • It seems like everywhere Fat Blue goes, Grover is always there! Can he go anywhere without running in to Grover?

  • lol lol lol and after every number grover is like seeing here n there on the called number.

  • when I saw this for the first time in high school, that is not how it ended. Mr. Johnson asked for 1 jelly donut in a bag, and had to pick another number, which was 41.

  • wow grover is good

  • grover is mean

  • @Nero8781 Yeah, plus he's so stupid!!! XD

  • @MrTornado300 Yeah

  • You show him, Grover!

  • "Do you have the 12 sir?"

    "NOOOOOO"

    "Then please be quiet".

  • Fat Blue's ulcers and piles must be in overdrive with Grover.

  • Did the first 39 customers just walk out before Grover called #1?

  • wow I didn't think he'd count all the way up to 40 XD sure does like to take his time though

  • clever this is teaching you to count to 40, and its entertaining even for us adults.

  • The lady used Fat Blue's unconscious body as a footstool! What a bitch!

  • Calling it. 40. Oh wait its time for my brake. Answer is > 129 kids who need there own donuts. And the jerk steps on Fat Blue. What a mean result.

  • lol Big Blue is #40!

Big Blue: Oh FML! It's the same worker from Charlie's Restaurant.

  • These videos of grover and fat blue never get old. I can watch them over and over and never get bored of them. Go Grover and fat blue. XD

  • :05 to :10, no wonder he's fat.

  • upload mr johnson and waiter grover at the banquet

  • Gover must be on child support wih all these jobs.

  • Gover must be on child support.

  • I can just see it. "Showing empathy towards the customer with your instructor Grover"

  • Its funny how Fat Blue doesn't seem to lose weight after missing so many meals. XD

  • where's the rest?

  • Best 5 minutes of my life :)))

  • I was on the floor by "numero dos".

  • Comment removed

  • ¡Me parto el pecho!!!!!!!

  • It seems like Fat Blue is on the verge of a nervous breakdown. I wonder how he puts up with it. Still I enjoy the Grover and Fat Blue skits.

  • the big 3-0, come on anybody?

  • Frank Oz and Jerry Nelson must've had a great time together do these skits.

  • I dont tell you how to YOUR job, do I? HAHAHA. I love Grover!!

  • "Do you have number 12, sir?"

    "No!"

    "Then please be quiet."

    So funny :)

  • Every time Fat Blue came on screen, I'd laugh 'cos I knew Grover would be coming in soon to screw him over. A million years later and it still makes me laugh. =)

  • Fat blue should have shot grover. That is just going too far.

  • lol!! WFT HAHA;D

  • The only intended educational part of this is simply teaching numbers 1-40, apart from that, it's just a comedy of errors. That's what seperates Sesame street from other childrens programming: Not EVERYTHING in them needs to set a good example. Because comedy is about human error.

  • wow! he was really gonna wait 4 his turn tho.......it happens

  • Now I want a doughnut. Lol! :)

  • LIfe is telling fat blue to stop eating-that is why he gets grover everytime

  • Does anyone else think that the fat blue guy is going to murder Grover one day?

  • @Spawnfreak If he doesn't have a fatal heart attack first.

  • @Spawnfreak I think so.

  • Donuts for a school picnic is very unhealthy & fattening. I would not have put up with Grovers crap; I would have called him every dirty word in the book, left the bakery and SLAMMED THE DOOR REALLY, REALLY HARD& LOUD!

  • I had this recorded on VHS at one point but I can't find it, a shame because I love this one, probably my favorite Fat Blue/Grover sketch. Thanks

  • Fat Blue: I don't believe this! Grover: Do you have the 12, sir? Fat Blue: No! Grover: Then please be quiet.

  • @TimFrith24 LOL

  • OH! SO CLOSE!

  • "Finding my niche" my tail, he's stalking him.

The clincher is when Fat Blue faints and the teacher just steps on him XD

  • No, I believe the 2'nd item Mr. Johnson wanted was a paper bag to put his one jelly doughnut in, not cookies. I agree, though that the Sesame Street website needs to remaster and bring back the original version of this in its entirely. Grover finally makes it to 40, but Mr. Johnson takes another number, it's 41, Mr. Johnson slowly faints, then Grover says, "Excuse me, the bakery is no place for a nap, sir.", then makes a smile pose.
  • There was another sketch like this but with a different outcome. Fat Blue's number is called and he places his order. Grover tells Fat Blue to take another number and wait to be called again. Grover counts again and Fat Blue faints.

  • LOL, I love the way Grover talks back to Mr. Johnson in order to shut him up.

"Sir, I do not tell you how to do your job do I?"

"Do you have the 12 sir?" NO! "Then please be quiet!"

"Do you want me to start from the beginning?"

  • My, the many things you have to do to earn a living in Sesame Street, life must be expensive there...

  • i bet that place gets very few repeat customers. lol

  • ROTFL!

I was half expecting Grover to get distracted by something at the end, and then he would have to start back with no. 1 again, but this was just as funny!

    ROTFL.

  • Actually, I remember a long time ago, that woman who had number 39 was added into the skit the second time I saw this skit.

The first time I saw this skit, Grover made it up to 40, and Fat Blue told him that he wanted some cookies which Grover gave him, and when Fat Blue wanted to ask for something else, Grover told him that he had to pick another number which was 41, and then Grover started back at 1 again.

  • really? I've never seen that one.

  • Yes, it was on this skit but, I guess the directors and producers decided to remove it from this skit and add the woman who had number 39. Maybe the reason why they added the woman who had number 39 just for humor so that the audience could see the surprised look on Fat Blue's face where he was probably thinking "oh no, this will take a very long time" and they thought it would look funny how he fainted. However, he did faint as soon as Grover started back at 1 when he had 41.

  • Yeah I only saw that one once.

  • I didn't like the end of this one. That woman stepping on poor Fat Blue.

  • Maybe the directors and producers kept it only one time but decided to remove it after that one time.

  • I like how you think of that, but I think it's even funnier at 1:20-1:32 when you hear...

Grover: Anybody here have the Number 2? Numero Dos?

Fat Blue: I'm the only one here.

Grover: Excuse me, sir. I do not tell you how to do your job, do I?

  • i love the way fat blue talks to himself!

  • lol 21 he said come on people time 3:12

  • 120 hungry kid

  • i liked this :D

  • I don't believe I've ever seen this one. Thanks! Typical Grover! HAHA!

  • Grover: 37.....38.....39.

Lady: 39? I'm number 39. It's our school picnic, and i have 120 hungry kids. And they each want their own donuts. So Jimmy is number 1...

    Fat Blue: (Faints)

  • @Junsumoto LOL

  • omg!! im in tears. this is sooo funny.

  • LOL! At 2:24-2:27 when you hear...

Grover: Do you have the "12", sir?

    Fat Blue: NO!!

    Grover: Then, please Be Quiet.

  • lol, I heard "número dos!" xD.

  • This would really be soooooooo annoying. Why doesn't Fat Blue just go somewhere else. There must be like a thousand other bakeries in the area.

  • why doesn't that fat blue guy just eat at home?

  • I don't remember seeing this one thanks for the post. If I was Fat Blue, I'll tell him straight up give my MEAL!!

  • I KNEW that was gonna happen I predicted it at 11 lol

  • dahm grover tell ur boss that they'res no one in here but him, kik

  • I love these two guys! they are f'n Funny!

  • At 39, didn't see THAT coming!

  • Grover is Funny with a capital F

  • Grover is like Fat Blue's shadow.

  • LOL!

Fat Blue really should take some valium... he looks like on the verge on nervous breakdown. :-)

Or he should stay away from Grover.

  • "I'm still trying to find my nitch in life"

    I hear that buddy

  • grover said i dont tell u how to do urrr job lmao!

  • cakes donuts cookies donuts cakes , this was from the open sesame street video :)

  • I LOVE THIS ONEEE :]

  • I happen to know for a fact that there are two versions of this skit. In the second version, #40 is finally. Fat Blue asks for his order in a bag, only to find out that he has to go through this process all over again. Anybody have THAT version? I can't stand the whore with #39.

  • I know what you're talking about. I thought that was what this one was.

  • Fat Blue: "I DON'T BELIEVE THIS!"

Grover: "Do you have the twelve, sir?"

    Fat Blue: "NO!!"

    Grover: "Then please be quiet."

  • Grover has great customer service! This should be used in trainings! Also, I love that he is still trying to find his niche in life. I share so much in common with Grover!

  • When I was a kid, I learned from THESE guys. I didn't have no baby-voiced red devil teaching me no alphabet!

  • 4:33...sure sounds like he says "GOD!!!" but its probably "GAHH!"

  • Do you have the 12 sir?

    NO!!

    Then please be quiet.

  • this almost had me in tears

  • Oh, my God! Something an unusually brilliant episode!

  • Hehehe! These episodes are indeed brilliant. Every place that Grover works, this blue man comes in and becomes very irritated..it's so funny:)

  • Fat Blue/Mr. Johnson needs to move to another neighborhood or state. If he left the country, would Grover follow him to another country just by coincidence?

  • @JasonMC72 Yes!

  • when grover asked if fat blue was number 12, fat blue should have lied

  • AAAAAAAAAARGH ! LOL

  • At 00:08, when Mr. Johnson mentions "cookies", Cookie Monster should have been in this skit and randomly ask Grover and/or Mr. Johnson to give him a cookie.

  • What should have been better if Cookie MOnster just pestered Grover and Mr. Johnson by asking if they have alot of cookies or such. That would have been a great sketch.

  • When Fat Blue says "(inhales, sighs) Bakeries. I love this stuff! Cakes, doughnuts, cookies... (sighs)", you can see the ticket with the number 40 on it in one of his hands.

  • AH AH AH! :D

  • Wow, did Grover just say do you want me to start from the beginning. Fat Blue is dying over here. Here comes #39 out of the blue are you serious? I would proably fall out after that counting too with nobody being in the store.

  • Like I have said before and I'll say it again, I am glad Grover doesn't work in any of the restaurants where I like to eat at. If he did, it would be bad news for me.

  • It's like a Monty Python sketch. I can almost see Graham Chapman and John Cleese doing this one:)

  • hhahahahaha

  • now i get up every morning and watch sesame street clips just like the good ol' days and i am SO HAPPY!!!

  • does anyone have the peanut butter and jelly Grover episode?

  • lol.

  • i adore Grover with all his jobs!! he is annoying but still awesome =D

  • He's on time, he's polite, but he needs to be more organized. He'll get it together, he's still a young monster.

  • It's true, that lady is going to kill fat blue, for the last two seconds of this sketch Fat Blue can be heard.

  • Ha ha ha... I'm gonna pass out again.

  • LoL i feel so sorry for that guy...:)

  • one of thee best grover's ever! lol

  • I DONT BELIEVE THIS!!!!!!!!!! lol

  • Do you have the 12, sir?

  • That's what Grover said after Fat Blue said, "I DON'T BELIEVE THIS!!!!!!!!"

  • Fat Blue, will wind up in the Pyschiatric ward because of Grover.

  • And Grover would be the psychiatrist.

  • They could've done 100 of these.

  • Oh my gosh! She stepped on him! That is so funny! HAHAHAHA!

  • Reminds me of the part from "Get Smart" the movie that came out this year, when Steve Carrell is at the bakery and the baker tells him to take a number and she goes to the back of the store, and Steve says "But I'm the only here!"

  • Poor guy.

  • I think it's pretty obvious that Grover wants to piss Mr.Johnson off...The parts when he was being a waiter, or even when he owrks at a movie theater, I think Grover was just being a bit too nosey or forgetful, but in a nice way...But in this skit...I really thinks that he is doing this for revenge.

  • Seriously, Grover needs to get his "cute, furry, adorable" head checked!

  • Fat Blue reminds me of the guy from PASTRAMI KING in Queens, NY.

  • Sorry, I forgot what I was writting about at the time I posted that comment bellow. I think it was the fact that Mr. Blue never seems to get what he want's. Every time he try's to get something to eat Grover is always there to provide crapy service.

  • I haven't laughed this in a long time. Thanks.

  • Haven't laughed this what... this hard?

  • Oh man, they decided to teach kids how to count to 40 in this! Isn't that a little too much of a challenge?

  • -twelf?

    -I don't belive this!

    - do you have twelf sir?

    - No!!

    - than please - be quiet.

  • i luv him!!

  • 2:17 - 2:27

    SPAZ ATTACK!

  • 4:16 - 4:20

    LOL!

  • this is genius

  • I have had this happen to me, the clerk told me to step aside. I was the only customer there.
