yeah because if you knew a thing about cars or two you would. Stock turbos are all internally wastegated so it's already re-routed back into the exhaust. External wastegate are either vented into the atmosphere (like the video) or vented back into the exhaust (which wasn't the case)...
and ohh man... most likely you had to upgrade your turbo to do that now wouldn't you? And MAJORITY of the people with twins usually swap to a big single since upgrading twins is expensive and most of the time not worth it price vs power
the loud noise is an externally vented wastegate. only aftermarket single turbos run ext gates. the stock turbos use an internal wastegate which is not audible. just look up "external wastegate" its not something u vtec boys would know anything about

To begin with, I'd give you a paper bag with holes in it, driving that heap must be tough on the ego. Then I would let you go first, just so you couldn't come back and pull some BS like say I had jumped. Then a couple of seconds later I would hit the pedal to the right and pass you since you'd only be at the 60' mark by then,getting all that shit to move is hard I bet. The one I'm running now wouldn't even be close. LS1, cam and bolt-ons plus 150 shot will be putting me around 550-570rwhp once we put it on the dyno. My old setup that I sold off was stock ported 13brew on the stock twins running with supporting bolt-ons hitting 362rwhp at 16psi before we pulled it. You sure the Cobra new you were actually racing or was it parked on the side of the road?

ttinmysoup, I didn't hear a zipper so shut your mouth. Evo, I live in SC so there's little to no support for rotaries. I wanted more power, like the GT500 kit from ASpec Tuning, but there are no shops around here to do the work and tuning. I didn't want to put a piston engined car in it, but a friend offered to do the work on the swap for next to nothing so I went LS1. As far as the power goes, I don't need anymore, though with a good set of heads I could get it.

Bottom line is that you're trying to say that even with a boost leak, an almost stock supra can keep up with a single turbo FD. That's simply not the case, no matter which way you try to slice it. I told you in response to your PM what FD's can do. If you want to continue to try and say that your car, with limited bolt-ons and a boost leak, can keep up with a single FD, you're simply deluding yourself and there's no point in arguing further.

There are plenty of 1000 hp 2 rotors on stock internals
All 7sec rotary powered cars have factory rotors(they may be lightened but they are factory),
rotor housings(ported but factory), irons, stationary gears, rotor gears, ect. Hp for hp the rx7 always wins.
Plenty of 1000hp 2 rotors, there's like 2-3, and if they're machined to be lightend, etc then it's not STOCK anymore

yeah because if you knew a thing about cars or two you would. Stock turbos are all internally wastegated so it's already re-routed back into the exhaust. External wastegate are either vented into the atmosphere (like the video) or vented back into the exhaust (which wasn't the case)...

and ohh man... most likely you had to upgrade your turbo to do that now wouldn't you? And MAJORITY of the people with twins usually swap to a big single since upgrading twins is expensive and most of the time not worth it price vs power

the loud noise is an externally vented wastegate. only aftermarket single turbos run ext gates. the stock turbos use an internal wastegate which is not audible. just look up "external wastegate" its not something u vtec boys would know anything about

RX7 GREAT CAR!! SUPRA GREAT CAR!!! Both Amazing cars, however RX7 has Great potential bute very espensie. Supra has alot of potential which isnt that difficult to achieve.. I myself though would prefer an RX7, LIGHTER, Nimbler, Sexy, Stable with a comfy ride due to the ROTARY..... face it RX7 was an amazing machine.. So was supra, but then again GTR took it out :-)
