  • That looks great!!!! Thank you so much for continuing the cooking vids, we all just love them!!

Your package will go out in a few days Marion, I had a crazy week last week...Take Care!!

  • hello marion! im from puerto rico, currently living in the uk. i've been following your blogs for a while :-)

  • @wabuchik Thank you, I appreciate it! Please feel free to subscribe if you haven't already! :D

  • Can you please show how to make the shrimp tostadas? I had some once that looked like it had mayo and other stuff. It was so good. If you know how, please tell.

  • @madmravyn I don't know how to make those, sorry. I do have another Mexican recipe up my sleeve for a later date though. It has shrimp in it.

  • My mother makes 3 types of ceviche~ Ground beef, shrimp, imtitation crab. It's like a mexican version of sushi lol

  • my mom puts ketchup in it, it tastes so much better, you should try it

  • Marion, I would like to try this recipe, but I know that my mother would flip out if she knew that the shrimp hadn't been cooked, so would it be okay to cook the shrimp after marinating it? Perhaps a quick steam wouldn't ruin it....What do you think?

  • @alandynamite2012 It wouldn't be authentic! But if you absolutely have to, do it before you marinate them. Make it quick. Set the shrimp by the boiling water so they can look at it for a nano-second, then take them away again. ;-)

  • hey, we have a nice juicer at work, makes it alot eaiser: OXO-Good-Grips-Citrus-Juicer/

i couldnt post the url, but just copy an paste that in amazon 2nd item, bowl/juicer setup

as for the dish, not much for seafood, i do peel n de-vein alot of shrimp every day where i work, i'm pretty quick at it now (10 yrs of it lol) but i do need a good sharp pearing knife :-) you could substitute like steak tips for the shrimp with this dish? you think it would taste good? lime + steak ..hmm

  • Ceviche is one of my favorite foods. I like 'em with plantain chips (I'm sure you can find them in Florida). You know, you had the color of the Mexican flag on your cutting board - white onion, red tomatoes, and green cilantro =)

And thanks for the flashback of the Galloping Gourmet! I used to watch his show when it aired on PBS in my city. Does Pop like ceviche?

  • @aurayon Pop doesn't like anything!

  • I love ceviche yum
