While I can not condone these guys were in on, I can understand why. I think that most people giving the chance to be offered what they were would have taken it for the money and fame come on there are so many people that have to live second to second not knowing WHAT will happen to them. But it took guts to do this, and say I can't LIVE like this anymore. I just wish they would hold the Asshole Frank F. Accountable because he is the one that started this crap. And ending up costing 2 lives.
I think we can forgive both rob pilatus and fab morvan for being part of something that they didn't know that they were getting into. They shouldn't be condemned and shunned, but rather embraced because they didn't know what was going on. They wanted to live a dream of being performers and more. It is sad that something like this caused such hardship and more.

They may not have known all the details like who else was in on it nor who the real milli vanilli were. But they knew they were a part of a fraud. They had active roles in the fraud to boot. Don't get me wrong. They were those who were even more guilty then they were. Like the execs who put together the fake band. EVERYONE knew.

Life is just so so sad sometimes man. Never liked these guys until I was well into my 30's. Now they bring back so many memories and feelings. Now I'll always miss Mili Vanili. It's not so much as what happened, but what they represented.
I remember that commercial from WAAAYYY BACK. I got the biggest kick out of one of the most made fun of fiascos of the 80's-90's. I wasn't a major milli vanilli fan, but who hasn't listened to "girl I'm gonna miss you" after a break up and got a few tears?

plus every1 else did it or does it, if they r jumpin round on stage sounding exactly like the cd they aint singin. there isnt many that can move around and sing.
i laughed at this commercial back in 1991, but i can't now, because of what happened to Rob Pilatus. poor guy
