Hey, this song is amazing! Really great! I just wanted to ask (since im into making uplifting trance) what are some VSTi's or synthesizers i can get to give me a more, producer sound to my tracks?

@DjErryl There is no shortcut nor synth that will make you instantly sound stand-out. I can however recommend something like Sylenth1 (software synth) that sounds amazing and is one of the easier to program. It comes with a heap of presets as well which help you to learn sound design. If sound design is too hard then Nexus is another option (ROMpler) which sounds great out of the box as well. Hope that helps! =D

This is really amazing, I was in a pure trance the first few times I listened to it. The only problem I have now is that the lead sounds over-detuned and if I listen closely to the bass that sound out-of-tune also. I'm not sure if this is just me but I only started noticing after like the 10th listen. But amazing song overall 9/10.

@Recoil13 I still use FL for collabs and sometimes for Maximus, but most of my tracks are now composed in Ableton.

@Recoil13 I find it better because of the editing engine. Being able to just throw in samples, vocals and whatnot and have them line up straightaway is perfect. I find the piano roll easier to use as well. Believe me, I still love using FL, I just find Ableton easier to create in =]

hey, so would you say ableton allows you to be more creative than fl studio? cus everytime i go on fl i hear all these melodies and beats in my head and i just cant put them to use or not as i would like them anyways. pain in the ass really =D (sorry about this i should be buying one or the other soon so im doing some research!)

@nicsevern If putting down the melodies is the problem, you will find the Piano Roll in Ableton more difficult. If beats are your thing, Ableton makes things a little more straightforward. Also keep in mind that while different DAWs do things a different way, the end result is always the same: a tune you can be proud of. For simplicity, go FL. For features, go Ableton.
