Washing bottles and lids in pure treated water has a negative effect on the environment. Thers is an environmental and monetary cost of storing, processing and pumpin pure drinking water to households.
In addition there is the environmental and monetary cost of collecting, storing and then shipping by sea to France & Spain
Consider the diesel fuel used by trucks cranes and ships at each stage of their journey abroad for processing.,
Be environmentaly friendly and send them to landfill.
@pchutube1 You couldn't be any more of an idiot. Do you think that the better option is pulling more raw materials from the earth, using the same trucks, cranes and ships to transport the raw materials to glass producing facilities? Garbage collection already happens, and can now be done with a one truck, two stream system that puts all recyclables into a sorting facility and all organics into the landfill. Not recycling is moronic.
