Well the peolple whose ancesytors settled in the Middle-West and became farmers may not be very international..but the american langage is peppered with foreign words, and they are all curious of foreign food..there are everywhere little China, little Italy, an Austrian native can become governor of California etc...The American are diverse and ready to learn other cultures and change and adjust...yes.

I agree that the Lebanese are one of its kind, OPEN and SMART and ready to adjust to any culture. They are very close to the Americans, who created a nation in such a short period of time, with human beings from all over the planet learning to live together in the New World.

I wish I can agree with you on the "SMART" part... We're been saying this about our selves for soo long, that we started believing it... If we really where smart, we would not be in the mess we are in right now... We have brilliant minds; but we are not all brilliant by nature... We have to wake up and accept the truth... Smart but individualists and looking for short term profit. The lebanese are not idiots...do not forget that the americans voted a second term for George Bush ....when people are worried about the future they can react unwisely. It is better for Kerry not to be held responsible of the mess in Iraq.

Lebos are SMART but emmotional in the same time, and tha why we have issues in Lebanon, and just because the politicians are idiots that doesnt make everyone else one, I am sure if they give you a go, you will do a good job, unfortunately politics is restricted in Lebanon to Families, and people like us have no chance to prove that Lebanon can be a successful country.

Judging From the way things are going now, I expect Lebanon will be a true democratic country in at least 60 years, you need to give time for the current politicians and their kids sometime to piss off and die, then will try and take it..

Working with constructive people like Acev could be possible, but with George is impossible, non of his videos are constructive, they all defaming everyone who doesnt agree with his politcal views, in return, i make some videos in retaliation to show him that everyone can do this, and nothing special about it.

The Lebanese are not Arabs they are mixed with an important percentage of Phenicians. If the whole population of the Arab League was Arab..where are the descendants of the Mesopotamiens, Assyrians, Cananeens, the Pharaos etc...(evaporated??completely massacred by the Arabs invaders???) Today even the Dubai population, building a modern country, in the Arabic Peninsula is not Arab... :)

The Ghassani tribe was a Christian Arab tribe; The Lebanese however are not Arabs; They where invaded by the arabs; Oppresses, had their language and their culture whiped out; they had their faith (which was not just Christian, also Pagan) threatened and oppressed, and they had their identity stolen. If you think as a lebanese you should be proud of what the Arabs did to your ansestors, then I think your the one who likes kissing ass...

We dont say that we're not arabs because of our pride in being Phoenician; the fact that we are being assosiated with the worst race on the planet is why we say we are not arabs. LOL, I have green eyes, and blonde hair... So I am 100% not arab, I might not be phoenician, but I'm definitly not arab :P... Most of my family (mother side and father side) have colored eyes too, like all my brothers, so maybe we are a mix from the crusaids or something... but I know how to read and write phoenician, and I can speak some cananite.... so its all good...

I believe Hariri is an Arab....and Rafic Hariri tried to use the fortune he made in Arabia as a builder for Lebanon..he acted better than many other Lebanese leaders...and was murdered by the people who want to destroy Lebanon.Siniora may not be an Arab ...but an Italian :) :))))

Its actually very easy to learn to read and write (you can use the alphabet for english words, actually, my windows in in phoenician text); but understanding the language is difficult... The phoenicians spoke a dialect of Canaanite, which is very close to modern day hebrew; so its a little dangerous to learn phoenician, cause the "Hezb" will accuse you of being a "3ameel".... sigh...

Well, when I said they are the worst race on the planet, I didnt mean they where bad... I meant they prefer to play with their toes rather than do a honest days work! If the arabs had any work ethic, they wouldnt need the rest of the world to build their countries. And Unfortunatly, they didnt only give us their language, they also gave us their ethics... which is why lebanon is soo f-ed up today.... sigh...

The Arabs were always traders and ghazous...they did not like to work...Even at the pre-islamic time of Muhammad when they wanted to rebuild the roof of the Kaaba they gave the job to a copt living in Mecca, who used the wood of a byzantine ship to do it.
