for CA, the gun restrictions are real, even for some semi-auto pistols. look up the list of weapons (its changing all the time) can't tell celebrities this, they rely on security for their safety where they have AR's or M16s, so why can't people? If they believed in personal freedom, they'd allow ownership of firearms, wouldn't need "Freedom of Speech" zones, wouldn't tell kids to rat out their parents, wouldn't need a civilian security force, etc...
Conservative I know, at least, are against late term abortion, not because they want all babies to be born, or for religious reasons, but because at about that point the line between a lump of skin and a human being is crossed. Life, liberty, and happiness is an inalienable right for all.

Democrats typically tend to lean towards loosening the punishments for all crimes including vicious crimes. They make an excuse and a copout for every crime that is commited unless it is commited by a white male.
