he would have been better in sabbath than glen hughes - or uriah heep - that kind of thing ...he should have shot for another major band - maybe he tried - who knows.
I agree! Those are my favorite of the Tygers albums. Not many people like this vocalist [John Deverille] over Jessie Cox [The Original] but I prefer this incarnation of the Tygers a whole lot more.
The only good Tygers, are only with Robb Weir: this was another band; when "The Wreck-age" and "Burning In The Shade" was relased Brian Dick killed the holy name of Tygers and of the NWOBHW! :,(
Jon Deverill should have been much more successful than this. Good voice, good showman, and the poor bugger ended up working in a bar in Newcastle after the Tygers.
Steve Lamb took over Sykes and David Donaldson over original basist Rocky. Deverill is great, but I liked original singer Jess Cox better. Thanks 4 sharing!
Why is the live version 100 times better than the studio version? They are actually good songs but the studio production sucked!

I was at this show!!! They warmed up with Love Potion Number 9!
Like these two songs though, sound better than they did on the album!

First song: Pretty damn good Tyger-ing. Second one: No wonder Mick Procter decided to leave them for Blitzkrieg! :)
