so many differing terms used to describe; eg, I AM, the self, the way, awareness, etc...that which "beats your heart and grows your fingernails" is described by Joseph Murphy as the 'subconscious'....is this what you mean?... according to new thought, (Murphy, Maltz, Reverend Ike, etc.) this subconscious can be programed. Certainly awareness, that which is, cannot be programed because it is perfect. Question: what is the difference between awareness and the subconscious?
@hvncb here's no ones take: what i am is awareness of the idea subconscious. i have to be always prior or how could phenomenon be experienced. nissargadatta said consiider every thing that appears to happen an accident. what's left? witnessing, but no witness becasue that may be conceptualized. therefore what exists cannot be an object nor subject to time. ask: what's the next thought? mind quite because an idea asks the question! no thinker.,no doer, powerless.
