  • I wish I had internet faster than 1 mbps

  • @c0wz - Oh yeah you're right. I was confused. It is barely any time at all. Thank you for that point out. I'm on the xbox 360.

  • @c0wz - LoL! Actually, I'm a good gamer. My ping does mess me up at times though.

0.4 secs is a good amount of time though. It's enough to see target and pull trigger.

35 ms is good, but it isn't good enough. My friends are getting 5 - 15 ms pings.

  • @Gootch82 .4 seconds is 400ms .04 seconds is 40ms. i think you are confused. you are converting it wrong.

there are 1000ms in 1 second. there could be lag on the server as well. are you playing xbox or ps3?

  • why am I getting 35 - 40 ms ping latency?

It's getting me MURKED on COD

  • @Gootch82 the ping is fine. if you seriously think that 0.04 seconds is going to affect your gameplay you need to realize how little time that is. more thank likely your just a bad gamer.

  • seems awesome for wat i need but my question is "how many megabytes or watever can u use per day" cuz basically my internet lets me use 200 per day and if i dont pass the limit my internet works at a speed of .45 mpbs but if i do its really really slow so how does this one work?

  • @PX917 AT&T has a 250GB/month download cap. they do not slow down the service if you go over but if you go over you will be charged a fee per GB. I do not have AT&T anymore so I do not know what the fee is. I left AT&T because of the new data caps.

  • @c0wz so say i played online xbox like everyday for a couple of hours and wasted lik 400mg on computer surfing like 4 out 7 seven days do u think i would pass the limit?

  • @PX917 not likely. mostly the people who have problems with the cap are PS3 users, netflix users, pirates, and tech savvy people.

  • @PX917 how much money are you paying

  • @xrokcer08 60 or 80 bucks

  • @PX917 i just got this like 3 days ago but i get 12 mbps for only $25 with att

  • What will be the download rate on IDM with 24 MB U-verce Max Turbo speed

  • i dont get it?????

  • sadly i just find out FiOS is not provided in my area but thank you anywayz and happy Holidays

  • are you able to stream videos without buffering from YouTube during pick hours like during the weekends? and how bout HDvideos from YouTube? I have U-verse Express and my speed reads 0.16 download 0.24 upload. It should be up 1.54 but not getting what Im paying for.. I am planning to upgrade to MaxTurbo or Verizon FiOSbecause I currently have problems watching videos but Im trying to find out if is it worth it ... Thank you and happy holidays from L.A.

  • @telectronicguy if you have a subscription that allows speeds that can facilitate those services then yes you can do all of that.

however, if you can get fios, get fios. it is a superior product.

  • @c0wz FIOS and ATT rarely cross Territory

  • @telectronicguy I have Max Turbo at Miami Beach and let me tell you that i have not to wait ANY STREAMING BAR. NEVER AGAIN SINCE I HAVE IT! IS SIMPLE AWESOME! I always have between 22.50MB-23.89MB Down and 2.55MB - 2.95MB Up! :D

  • @telectronicguy from what uverse claims itself, to stream right way or watch live tv etc u need the packages higher then max, if u just want fast speed to play online mmo's then its great

  • is uverse good for gaming because i got uverse with 18mb package but it seems that its always laging when i play mw2 or some other game why is that?

  • @GxIxO if you live with other people or share a network than you may have problems with upstream bandwith..

  • i just got uverse and its supposely 18mb but when i speedtest it says 12 mb and around 1.70 upload. and when i play mw2 it lags like crazy

  • @GxIxO I got 2.52 mps with my u verse -.-

  • Seems to me that the key points are "how much does it cost" and "how reliable is it"? My uverse is 2.95 down and .95mb up for $35 per month. The connection is rock solid day in and day out (don't worry about "peak periods" as with cable). I don't know of anything else that fast for that price, although for a few dollars more you get a lot more bandwidth.

  • @jscottupton Good point! Many people forget that you will have slowdowns with cable.

  • @jscottupton There is no slow down with cable I have the 16mbps from comcast and get 24 mbps every night no problem. Here in South Florida there is no one that that can beat Comcast internet. Comcast 105mbps is here!!!!!!!

  • my comcast is way faster.

  • @racer135790 good for you. at least my speeds are consistent. speed boost is a gimmick.

  • @c0wz my speed is consistent i keep cheaking random and its the same or higher.

  • @c0wz consistent is something that doesn't change. going higher for short bursts is still a fluctuation.

  • I actually get faster up speeds with another DSL provider and ADSL2+ (bonded pair DSL), I get 2Mbps up.

  • @phototristan they offer upload speeds that are much faster now.

  • @c0wz Only on their very highest plan. The majority of their plans remain 1.5Mbps up. With my non AT&T ADSL2+ I will actually soon be able to set my own up speed (it takes from the down speed) on the fly. This is called Annex M technology.

  • @phototristan Uverse offers Internet which is 18Mb Downstream, 3Mb Upstream (assuming you're close enough to the local DSLAM, i've seen accounts 2500 feet from the dslam attaining 32,800 mb down potential

  • getting this next week... cant wait

  • You raped my ears with this music.. But nice download speed.

  • It hear news! New Max Turbo 24 Mbps download and 2 Mbps Upload cost $75..00 per month.

  • I just realized I replied to something someone already address....sorry.

  • is this fiber optic internet or just DSL?

  • The whole network is fiber optic unlike shit stain companies like Comcast that claim to have "fiber-optic" technology.

  • not true. it is vDSL and is Fiber to the Node.

  • not always fiber to the node. fiber to the prem in newer subdivisions. in the area where i work (south dallas) i usually have 1 FTTP job per day.

  • @c0wz I think it's actually ADSL

  • @tdbgamer its vdsl. ADSL is regular dsl. U-Verse is different.

  • 3000 feet limit from ur house is where the fiber stops dumbass, then its copper from there...EDUMACATE yourself....

  • @MrJcabreramia incorrect, it's fiber optics to the node (the green box in your neighborhood) and they can run copper UP TO 3000 feet from that box. after 3000 feet, you're SOL until ATT drops a new fiber line to a new DSLAM nearer to your residence

  • @Forza2CreditsKing Cable is also Fiber! Insome cases the big brown/green box in your back yard is a small fiberoptic node that goes to coax and branches off to 5-10 houses.

  • @Forza2CreditsKing They are fiber optic, but the retarded thing is that the fiber optics only run out to the main street, unlike this and Verizon's FiOS, which run the fiber optics right up to your door. The other guys just might as well have all of it traditional wire.

  • @Forza2CreditsKing Hardly any of the Uverse customers are on fiber optic. They stopped rolling out fiber a long time ago once they figured out their latest algorithm to get the most out of copperwire lines. I know because I have Uverse, internet is fast and reliable, BUT NOT on fiber :(

  • technically it's just DSL but it's faster than normal DSL because it takes a shorter trip to the nearest network terminal, AT&T saved money by taking the fiber to a mile within your house and from there I believe they used their old lines (copper) to send the signal the rest of the way.

  • @Bamabrute85 it is dsl. none of the major isps offer fiber optic internet service except for verizon fios

  • @c0wz ATT u-verse does offer fiber optic internet, FTTP (Fiber to the Prem) and an IPDSLAM (IP Digital Subscriber Line Area Multiplex) inside the home, similar to the 3800HGV-B RG on regular FTTN internet accounts.

  • @c0wz spff cant wait for google isp

  • @903harman same here

  • @903harman i cant either

  • The song is "Hang 'Em High" by A Static Lullaby

  • whats the name of the song?

  • to be honest I have no idea. its one of the ones that YouTube has for you to add to the video

  • oh yeah i have T4000000!

  • the fastest at&t internet service in my area is 6mbits down and 1.5mbits up. I have 3mbits up and 1mbit down.

  • Do you need the annoying music just for a speed test?

  • sure why not? ;)

  • my comcast cable runs around 15meg down and 3meg up

  • my comcast runs around 30 megs or 30,000 kbps

  • i'm the dork? i'm not the one starting shit on youtube

  • Owned.

That guy is a complete dumbass.

  • i pay like 20 dollars for supposly internet that can download up to 750kb/s or something like that i and i download about 50-80kb/s and my computer was refurbished or something ike that to make it like new and it still downloads the same freaken slow!

  • do u plug ur computer into the dial up cable from the wall?

  • yes and i got a newer modem and some programs that suppossed to speed up my interenet and it makes it download really fast the first few seconds of the download up to 1.15mbps and then goes down to about 150kb/s-180kb/s

  • umm... your not supposed to plug it into the dial up cable, tht gives you dial up speed. You need to plug the modem into the wall and plug your computer into the modem. dont use the dial up plug

  • o yea thats wat i meant lol

  • refurbishing ur computer does not do anything for your net speed lol

  • please dont hesitate to call our toll free number, uverse member care for your inquiries and issues regarding this matter. i would be glad to serve you..

  • we also have this max18 package, for upto 18mbps for only 65 dollars, ideal for all the internet services, video streaming, downloading etc.. 1.5 mbps upstream and 18 downstream.. free wifi connection in all the wifi hotspots, like starbucks as long as you are connected with the service and as long as ur laptop has LAN..

  • No way can u verse compare to Comcast speeds i get 50 megs down with DOCIS 3.0 they say there going to launch 100 megs down soon. Sorry At&t still behind the game your fastest speed is Comcast Slowest...Also tell your customers that you can only watch one HD channel in the house at one time..

  • true docsis 3.0 speeds are far faster than u-verse is currently. but you have to remember that docsis 3.0 does not have as large of a footprint as u-verse does. i've thought about switching to comcast, but the damn price is just too much.

  • you must b pretty far from the serving terminal...Uverse supports 2 HD streams into the household if you are within 3000ft range of bbox. 1 HD stream is avail if you are over 3000ft. Uverse also has better picture quality and is more consistent than Comcast. Uverse boxes are half the size of Comcast and customer support is better than Comcast as well.

  • seriously? you posted this. why would someone post crap like this? i am going to delete your comment now. its not helping anyone.

  • nope. not this time. i'll leave it out of spite.

  • i did this at my college and got 60 000 i was like woah!! haha

  • you wanna share some of that internet?

  • if you live close by sure.

  • i get around 8mbps up and down to the farest server (new zeland) ;P

  • I like AT&T U-verse but how much you paying for it? I have Comcast and my speed are way faster than they advertise, but seem like AT&T U-Verse is constante are their speed, were comcast speed vary from location to location. Seem like everywhere you test your speed, no matter how far or close. Your speed is remain the same. Were comcast vary. Comcast is fast but to me its a little bit too pricy.

  • uverse max 10mbps/1.5mbps is $55/month very affordable. this price is not an introductory price either so it wont go up.

  • i have the U300 package (300 channels starz, showtime, etc) with the TV service and i get the same speed and i pay about 104 bucks a month. very cheap. the internet costs 25 bucks a month. but you can get dsl from at&t for 10 bucks a month if you ask them

  • the internet is only $25/month and you get 10mbps download and 1.5mbps upload? that sounds like the uverse express 1.5mbps download and 1mbps upload. uverse max is not $25

  • i didnt notice the "max" i do have express

  • The max isn't 10MBPS

    it's actualy 18MBPS now..

but i dont care, i have DSL.

  • the speed profile is "Uverse Max" the fastest speed profile now is "Uverse Max 18" as you'll see i have posted a video response to this video with my initial speed tests for max 18.

  • Best for you AT&T U-verse 10 mbps!

  • nope , now best of AT&T U-verse is 18mbps and it is 65$ a month if you want get it...

  • att uverse is fiber to the VRAD box and copper through phone line to the cutomer.inside the house we can use coax or cat5,and inside the phone box outside we put a spliter who aplit between phone and video signal

  • are you a at&t technician...how do they work

  • No i am contractor for AT&T.what do you mean by how do they work?

  • hello. im a kid who lives in homer glen il...bout 45 min from chicago...i luv att..my dad works for it sooo...but im dissapointed in att becasue they wont "build" uverse or dsl in my neighborhood....seeing tht ur a contractor, is there anyway u can tlk 2 the guys in texas and get them 2 add this in my neighborhood...or consider it soon...i also need the high speed for xbox live 2 work..plz comment me bak as soon as possible.....thnk u

  • prety soon they wil install vrad boxes , exactly we dont know but porpebly in couple mohths.

  • aight...tht is great news...thnk u

  • great news....thank u man

  • hey idk if u remember me or not...but im the kid from homer glen....and im very curious wether or not u have heard anything at all about dsl and uverse being built in my town..im starting to grow a little impacient, tho i still luv at&t..but i really want to play xbox live..i am also pissed because literally every neighborhood that circles mine has dsl and uverse..for example....i live in meadowview, and farmview, my neighborhoods neighbor, has dsl..crystal lakes-uverse,etc....plz contat me asap

  • you can also check with your local utilities commission and local government. they have people that work closely with the utility companies to make sure everything is done legally and whatnot. they would have information about it i'm pretty sure.

  • oooo...that sounds like a good idea as well...than u....i like ur vids 2

  • uverse dsl. i'm in evanston, illinois. i was the 2nd person on my VRAD. My loop is about 600feet. I dont think that there is any talk about getting fiber to the home here yet. just VDSL.

  • Nice, your upload is as fast as my download.

Is att u-verse dsl or fiber optic?
