  • @ 1:19 lmao that sounds just like something Oliver Stone would say. What an excellent director and screenwriter.

  • Please check out the Fat Cat Bankers by Tokyo Rose

  • can someone please tell me why everyone is laughing at 1:28 ? didn`t understand why.

  • he called JFK LBJ, ha ha.

  • Douglas looks like a homeless bum

  • @SpasticatedCunt nice one sophisticated cunt

  • @RichardElden

Maybe YOU'LL get cancer. Have you considered that possibility?

  • @leafyutube We keep our fingers crossed. The dude is a young imbecile and a disgusting individual...

  • @RichardElden Scumbag.

  • @RichardElden Stone is one of the best film directors of all time while you are, and will ever be, a nobody on the world stage, one of those potato couch failures who bash talented people on the internet.

  • @RichardElden how so? the war experience was never recreated as well as in platoon I believe, even if paths of glory, saving private ryan and chimes at midnight came close. It's not just that, through his elegant use of camera movements and other tricks he manages to make you understand his characters and follow the story no matter how complex (ex:JFK) he's brave about the subjects he tackles and delivers powerhouse performances from his actors.

  • oliver stone is arguably one of the top ten directors of all time

  • Oliver Stone is a phenomenal scriptwriter.

  • In 2003, Douglas starred in It Runs in the Family, which featured three generations of his family (his father, Kirk; and his son, Cameron).

  • @JuanMacready Are you insane? Have you even seen Wall Street from 1987? Michael Douglas performed one of historys greatest roles, as Gordon Gekko. It was an extremly talented role, if you don't see that your just an ignorant little prick.

  • @JuanMacready You're a schmurck full of shit and hatred.

  • @JuanMacready Wow, I just realized, why do I even speak to you? You have no real arguements, your just here to be a dick.. Well, you don't get far being a dick, you need brains :)

  • @calistall Yep, this internet user is a dangerous cretin.

  • @lakesha00 what makes you think that Oliver Stone "doesn't have the guts" to make the movie you want. He's been making seemingly whatever the hell he feels like for a long time. Isn't it more likely to assume he either a. doesn't agree with you on the issue or b. does not think it's the most important topic/topic he has authority to cover?

  • Oliver Stone sure brings out the best (and the worst) in his actors

  • ho por Diosssssssssss eres lo maximo!

Como el vino cuantos mas aniejado mejor sabe!!!

  • i got this great idea, why doesn't oliver stone make a movie about how disgusting hollywood is, and how it exploits children and women, and is probably one of the greddiest industies on this planet. also, how it wants societyl to lust fame, fortune, jewelry and causes young women to become obsessed with body image. he wouldn;t have the guts to do that.

  • @lekesha00 Excellent comment. I commend you. You are absolutely right.

  • @cavecandle31 thank you very much. i appreciate it.

  • Michael is talking about his best role & praising Tom Cruise & Charlie Sheen about their own performances while working with Oliver Stone.

  • @JuanMacready ur a puke of a hukan being

  • "mm, mm, mm, mm..." and so on. My god what is wrong with this journalist.

  • get well soon,we love you :))

  • I loved this clip. I so agree with Michael Douglas' statement that those actors he mentioned gave their best performances in an Oliver Stone film. Oliver Stone is a giant as far as I'm concerned. One of the very best directors of all time! I've loved all his movies.

  • 3:33 Kevin Costner was in "JFK" not "LBJ"

  • @17crazyeyes You never know. LBJ could be Stone's next great political film!

  • Its almost like you're expecting him to say something like: "rip their fuckin' throats out, stuff 'em in your garbage compactor" or "if this guy owned a funeral parlor, no one would die" ... but he wont

  • Oliver Stone wrote Scarface so that's all that needs to be said about him..

  • @pismo10 it was brian de palma who wrote scarface

  • @7David7VillaRonaldo7

    No, it was Oliver Stone.

  • @7David7VillaRonaldo7 You're wrong. Brian de Palma helmed the movie but it was Oliver Stone who penned the script-and it was superior to the original.

  • @naranjasenlacabeza Oliver Stone's Scarface was much better than the original and a great movie.

  • Bakeral, envy is a deadly sin. Funny how the internet has become a place where frustrated nobodies insult talented people.

Douglas was an excellent Gekko and Wall Street a landmark film. Oliver Stone is a great casting director... and above all a fabulous helmer and scriptwriter.

  • It's Ironic you have this interview with Michael Douglas talking about Wall Street just weeks before he started shooting Wall Street 2.

  • maybe you forgot the movie Any Given Sunday that one is a classic in its kind

  • LOL!!! Got to get those titles right, Michael; it's "Salvador" and "JFK."

  • It's true what he says about Oliver getting the best out of his actors, they all gave their career bests working him,

  • I thought it was really weird that he said kevin costner was in LBJ instead of JFK.

  • I know, that was pretty funny. I had to play it back to see if I heard it right. I guess the guy didn't correct him cause he was on such a roll...

  • Jon Avent is a joke. This guy can't stop to talk about his own accomplishment enough to appreciate others.

Maybe he should tone down the arrogance until he gets a good movie under hie belt.

  • LBJ?

  • Interesting what a director gets out from an actor so as to reveal more and get in touch more with their character.

  • that was great! thx afi. seems like a recent video. when was this?

  • April, 2009

  • What do you know about Oliver Stone or shining shoes????

  • Yeah, but that isn't much of an insult, few dirs can.

  • that was interesting...but the guy doing the interview looked bored, lol.

  • it is crappy director/producer Jon Avnet. he just can not behave like an adult.
