Hollywood actors are so full of fucking shit, its unbelievable!! They play a part in a film, they read some lines, they get stuck up their own asses!! They think they can save the fucking world!! Some actors can bring magic to the screen, some actors just bring bullshit and ego!!
@RichardElden Stone is one of the best film directors of all time while you are, and will ever be, a nobody on the world stage, one of those potato couch failures who bash talented people on the internet.
@RichardElden how so? the war experience was never recreated as well as in platoon I believe, even if paths of glory, saving private ryan and chimes at midnight came close. It's not just that, through his elegant use of camera movements and other tricks he manages to make you understand his characters and follow the story no matter how complex (ex:JFK) he's brave about the subjects he tackles and delivers powerhouse performances from his actors.
@JuanMacready Are you insane? Have you even seen Wall Street from 1987? Michael Douglas performed one of historys greatest roles, as Gordon Gekko. It was an extremly talented role, if you don't see that your just an ignorant little prick.

@calistall Wall Street is a stupid libtard piece of shit. Douglas is a talentless repulsive ugly kike who only got into movies because of his father. I hope the cancer spreads to his brain and both his lungs.

@mybluecat1 The 1983 remake of Scarface was just a stupid, overlong, boring film with far too much swearing. Not surprised a loser like you enjoyed it.
@JuanMacready Wow, I just realized, why do I even speak to you? You have no real arguements, your just here to be a dick.. Well, you don't get far being a dick, you need brains :)
@lakesha00 what makes you think that Oliver Stone "doesn't have the guts" to make the movie you want. He's been making seemingly whatever the hell he feels like for a long time. Isn't it more likely to assume he either a. doesn't agree with you on the issue or b. does not think it's the most important topic/topic he has authority to cover?
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
well.. that pushing and testing of Oliver Stone's is probably the reason Michael Douglas got cancer. I know that making a good movie is a great goal, but apparently he is taking it too far.
i got this great idea, why doesn't oliver stone make a movie about how disgusting hollywood is, and how it exploits children and women, and is probably one of the greddiest industies on this planet. also, how it wants societyl to lust fame, fortune, jewelry and causes young women to become obsessed with body image. he wouldn;t have the guts to do that.
I loved this clip. I so agree with Michael Douglas' statement that those actors he mentioned gave their best performances in an Oliver Stone film. Oliver Stone is a giant as far as I'm concerned. One of the very best directors of all time! I've loved all his movies.
Its almost like you're expecting him to say something like: "rip their fuckin' throats out, stuff 'em in your garbage compactor" or "if this guy owned a funeral parlor, no one would die" ... but he wont
@7David7VillaRonaldo7 You're wrong. Brian de Palma helmed the movie but it was Oliver Stone who penned the script-and it was superior to the original.

Miscast? Oh, sure, Douglas was a terrible Gordon Gekko. And I'm sure he has no idea what he's talking about here. Clint Eastwood has done a lot of great things, and if he doesn't like that kind of directing technique, then that's his choice; however, a whole lot of people do. So excuse me if I don't agree with you or Eastwood.
@ 1:19 lmao that sounds just like something Oliver Stone would say. What an excellent director and screenwriter.
