"Shame about Edwards and his libido"? Why is no one talking about the fact that McCain came back from Vietnam to find his swimsuit model wife horribly disfigured, overweight, and 5 inches shorter from a car accident and proceeded to cheat on her for 7 years with other women (including Cindy), before dumping her and the kids and marrying Cindy 20 days after the divorce? I think his moral character is relevant to our decision as voters, don't you?
how does everyone find time for this?? but on the real? moral, integrity, courage. i served and i don't care how many medals you slam on your chest, NO INTEGRITY-NO VOTE!
what do you know about G7? i knew there was a coalition of 7 powerful nations, only because I am being forced to read about it...are the end of times near? this is biblical?
Shame about Edwards and his lebido. I liked him. he was the only one who really cared about poverty erradication and health care, yet all people will remember about him is his affair.
nwLohmann wrote "US isn't the richest nation of the planet. Ur a fool to say that" / / / Uh...yes it IS the richest. I don't know why you'd think otherwise. The US economy is by far the world's largest at over $13 trillion, and a population of 300 million. The next closest nation is Japan, with a GDP of a little over $3 trillion and 125 million people. So by gross GDP, it's the richest, and by per-capita GDP it's the richest.
Take a look at the Wikipedia entry titled List_of_countries_by_per_capita_personal_income . Based upon the World Salaries Group, it puts the US at the top. What you're thinking of is GDP divided by population, in which the US is 4th (not 6th) according to the study published last month by Parade Magazine. But the three ahead of us in that ranking are tiny -- Luxembourg, Norway and Switzerland -- the largest of which at 7.5 million, is just 1/40th the size of the US. You can't compare them to us.
It is the richest country by size of economy, by GDP. That doesn't mean that there isn't poverty, but the total sum of all wealth in the states is massive and the largest in the world. In fact, America's economy is so large it consumes 25% of the world's energy, despite having only 250 million people, about 5% of the population.
It's amazing watching the democrates. When will they come closer to the center? It's the only way they can win. these people are so far to the left. Hillary is the only one leaning to the center, but she's out of it.

Hillary certainly wastes no time playing the gender card, and Obama wastes no time using the race card.
"Equal pay is not yet equal" -- what BS. Women have different careers and career goals -- child-bearing is more important to them than being a workaholic -- what's wrong with that?
But of course neither thinks race or gender should play any part in whether either of them is elected, because after all, it's only about who is most qualified for the highest elected office in the land!
Hmm why the agrumentiation about poor single-mother didn't convice me???? Maybe she should thinka a little bit about can I provide for my children???People don't thin only make children, do not use condoms and later they complaint about how bad status they have. This is no argumention. People also have to think , Will I earn enough to have so many children?, but they don't and later quilty is all world around them but not they.

Dear researchris2 want to commend you for great vids. You are doing a pivotal role in bringing issues of critical importance to your subscribers. 5 stars from me.
There are lots of candidates I am tempted to hate, but the strength of American democracy is disagreeing without hating. If we hate, we quickly will slip into the horrible Sunni-Shiite type violence that America has a tradition of not falling into. God bless America by keeping us from hate.

i think that Obama DOES have the experience to run America... however... he doesnt have the guts... i mean u can see him in debate... he does speak his mind... he thinks about what ppl will think of him.... and he knows that Hillary will pick on all his flaws such as him being inexperienced...
thus.. i dont think that Obama will be a good president for America... he has the brains... but not the guts... and i think u need the guts... Hillary just picks out his flaws and thats messed up....
in order to bring about an end to the bitter partisanship that has divided our politics one has to lead by example, not just words. that takes courage. our founding fathers wanted to ensure that any butcher, any baker, and any candlestick maker has the chance to be an elected official in a government of us, by us, and for us.
lol well that was a hard question u might think it's pretty stupid but it's a question to think about well because bill's wife is right next to him so yeah OBAMA '08!!!!

I'm not American. This guy speaks like he's had brain damage. He reminds me seriously of an 80's TV cult leader, soliciting donations. He has a perm and fake capped teeth. Dodgy end of.
its the lesser of two evils that we have to base our decision upon people.these andidates are full of bullocks but there is one for the job we just need to research beyond what the media projects to find who we need to vote for on our own vilition
I like Obama. Not because I am black, I think that the White House need fresh ideas, new energy, change for all. He is as capable as any other candidate to run the country, I admire him, and hope that one day I have the opportunity to tell him so. He is passionate, and would like to see all Americans prosper and live the best possible life here in America.
I agree with you tyb1961 that Obama will bring change that benefits everyone.I think Barak's a great man.I also have great respect for Obama.I really hope he wins.
Who said I like him? How would you class Obama as extreme left? Extreme left brings up images of Stalin, Lenin, Castro and Marx. Please, enlighten me as to why Obama is the same as the aforementioned extreme lefties.
I assume you like him because you replied to my original message to Obama supporters. Obama is to the extreme left compared to all remaining candidates. Quite simply he wants more government control which means more taxation. It also moves us closer to communist form of government which is not effective. Tell me. What is your opinion of Obama's politics?
Ah, there we go, extreme compared to his candidates but not really extreme is he? I live in the European Union, and Obama would be considered right wing here. The Republican government is controlling enough as it is. Did you know that the US Govt spends more on healthcare than France? Your government is one of the most authoritarian there are. Patriot Act anyone? I think universal healthcare would be good for your country. You can't put a price on a persons wellbeing.
I should note the American media is controlled by the left. I don't see how anyone could argue that. When I watch the English BBC I see their liberal agenda quite clearly as well. Notice how much positive TV time Hillary and Obama get compared to McCain and Huckabee. Our liberal media spends its time attacking America and influencing those abroad as well. If you get your news from CNN you are only getting one side. I enjoy having such a civil discussion with you and respect your opinions.
Really? From what I saw there was hardly a dissenting voice to the war on Iraq until it lately became fashionable to do so. I think your media should be a lot more critical and harsh of politicians than it is. The reason the Dems enjoy more coverage in Europe is b/c its a more interesting race. A black or female American President? Either would make history. Anyway, McCain is a shoe-in at this stage anyway, who wants to watch a one-horse race? Why so anti-liberal anyway?
The American media has always been tough on republicans because over 90% of news reporters are registered Democrats. They have been tough on the war for years now but never complained about Kosovo because a Democrat was in office. I also find it disturbing that so many people have taken interest in the gender or race of the candidates. When choosing our next president we need to focus on what each cadidate plans to do once elected. Not their race or gender. I want to be safe not make history.
I agree, but you can't deny the popular interest in the race/sex issue. I doubt that will count for much once the chips are down though. But i believe that America could do with sliding to the left a bit. I study Economics and i have faith in the markets ability to generate efficient outcomes, etc, but it doesn't always generate the right outcome. In the case of healthcare i believe this is so. The incentives are all skewed away from the patient and into the pocket. Thats not right.
No offence, because it is a serious and sensitive topic - but what if the difference in sentencing rates is down to the fact that black people have committed more crimes? It's not going to be because they're black, but because there are more black people in underpriviledged backgrounds, where more crime occurs anyway. The problem is not the rates, but the causes of poverty, ie discrimination/education etc etc.

Well, if you're putting any emphasis on "intelligent leader", that counts out Obama. He's not as bright as the other two, especially Edwards. (I'm not suggesting that that characteristic is necessarily of supreme importance - but I think it helps.)
that story about the mother is the saddest thing I have ever heard. People are not paying attention to John Edwards, Americans are too awestruck by the concept of a black president or a woman when clearly, Edwards is on the side of all americans, rich AND poor. See my video of thoughts on edwards.
You're absolutely right about Edwards, I suspect. Unfortunately for him - and for all of us - he doesn't have one tenth the campaign money that the other two have.
Bill Clinton desparately wants to return to the Whitehouse through the backdoor. We can't forget his extra-marital affairs and sex scandals. If he could have the time to have an affair with an intern (30 years his junior) while President what wont he do when he's lazying about in the whitehouse as 'firstman'? This time it would be cooks & janitors. I'll sure go for Obama, at least I can trust him with my daughter
obama said that he'd have to look into clintons dancing ability befor he was willing to say that bill was the first "black" president... obama was raised in white, upper class society... i doubt he dances any better...

So basically what Hillary said was if she was in office she would even the balance in equality of pay in gender...
The reason why mean get paid more is more so biological, naturally men are better with electronics, math, and science, as well as less likely to perform the non-paid homemaker and child-rearing occupations. So naturally men get paid more. So what she would do would instate a mandatory increase in minimum wage to ONLY women to even the balance. Now is that right?
What are you saying Blumac81. There is biological reasons, naturally men are better with electronics? what kind of statements are these, You also managed to misspell Men for heavens sake! This is what is wrong with Americans, we cannot continue to to think one class or gender is the elite and deserves extra benefits like wage increases for men as this guy suggests.
What????? Are they serious with the question of 'do you think bill clinton was america's first black president?' Come on people we are talking about the future of our nation here, forget Bill Clinton!
CONT'D ------- I am a male and I do not agree with this at all. I agree with all 3 candidates on this issue. It is very troubling when we see these kind of ideologies still exist in todays world.. It truly is pathetic.
about 3:45 to about 4:05... definitely my favorite moment of any debate so far. i laughed out loud for a while, that was hilarious. that is going under fav quotes on my facebook
I hate how they say 37million people in poverty... The average person in poverty has a higher standard of living than 98% of those living in a 3rd world country. People are making a career out of welfare.
What bothers me the most about Hillary is; she says for women's rights, but she stood by Bill while he sexually harassed women. She did nothing about it. Instead she smeared the women, and she backed Bill while lied on national TV to the American people. The Clintons have no honor, but too themselves!
Yeah, Ron Paul TALKS about it, but once Republicans get in office they deliver NOTHING. Obama is an amalgamation of John Edwards and Hilary Clinton. He repeats what Hilary says and copies Edwards plans at the same time as criticising them. I would want a President who can actually think for themself.
It is for exactly this kind of situation that the Clintons should be required to divulge the extent of their involvement with foreign interests and exactly how much money their personal bank accounts and their Library/Foundation have received.
The Saudis (Arabs) donated to the Clinton's Library and personal bank account. This was discovered by the New York Times when the information was inadvertently posted on the Library's Web site. Soon after the story appeared, it was taken down. The Clintons refuse to reveal the donors to the Library or the related Foundation. Hillary and Bill have also refused to release their income tax returns, despite the fact that Bill willingly released his when he was running for president.
Hillary is totally unable to be objective of our national financial sovereignty because she and her husband have been so compromised by their financial dealings with the very countries at issue in the decision.
Saudi monarchy been permitted to purchase an important equity position in some of America's leading banks? How can Hillary be objective when the very same monarchy donated $10 millions to the Clinton Library and Foundation?!
I'm a republican, but I really love what the democratic candidates have to say in regards to peace, civil liberties, and justice in America. But Clinton was a little off in the final statement. If you disagree with the democrat's economic policies (e.g. against free markets), there is a republican candidate who talks about justic, peace, and civil liberty - Ron Paul.

I'm not from the US, but I'm not too sure about Hillary- her policies will be too heavily dictated by her sponsors, just like when she was first lady.
Of course, I don't have the most balanced opinion, it's just an observation!

People also have to think , Will I earn enough to have so many children?, but they don't and later quilty is all world around them but not they.

thus.. i dont think that Obama will be a good president for America... he has the brains... but not the guts... and i think u need the guts...

I truly adore him. Go Obama?

reinhammer1 3 years ago
Who said I like him? How would you class Obama as extreme left? Extreme left brings up images of Stalin, Lenin, Castro and Marx. Please, enlighten me as to why Obama is the same as the aforementioned extreme lefties.
daithifleming 3 years ago
I assume you like him because you replied to my original message to Obama supporters. Obama is to the extreme left compared to all remaining candidates. Quite simply he wants more government control which means more taxation. It also moves us closer to communist form of government which is not effective. Tell me. What is your opinion of Obama's politics?
reinhammer1 3 years ago
Ah, there we go, extreme compared to his candidates but not really extreme is he? I live in the European Union, and Obama would be considered right wing here. The Republican government is controlling enough as it is. Did you know that the US Govt spends more on healthcare than France? Your government is one of the most authoritarian there are. Patriot Act anyone? I think universal healthcare would be good for your country. You can't put a price on a persons wellbeing.
daithifleming 3 years ago 5
I should note the American media is controlled by the left. I don't see how anyone could argue that. When I watch the English BBC I see their liberal agenda quite clearly as well. Notice how much positive TV time Hillary and Obama get compared to McCain and Huckabee. Our liberal media spends its time attacking America and influencing those abroad as well. If you get your news from CNN you are only getting one side. I enjoy having such a civil discussion with you and respect your opinions.
reinhammer1 3 years ago
Why so anti-liberal anyway?
daithifleming 3 years ago
The American media has always been tough on republicans because over 90% of news reporters are registered Democrats. They have been tough on the war for years now but never complained about Kosovo because a Democrat was in office. I also find it disturbing that so many people have taken interest in the gender or race of the candidates. When choosing our next president we need to focus on what each cadidate plans to do once elected. Not their race or gender. I want to be safe not make history.
reinhammer1 3 years ago 2
I agree, but you can't deny the popular interest in the race/sex issue. I doubt that will count for much once the chips are down though. But i believe that America could do with sliding to the left a bit. I study Economics and i have faith in the markets ability to generate efficient outcomes, etc, but it doesn't always generate the right outcome. In the case of healthcare i believe this is so. The incentives are all skewed away from the patient and into the pocket. Thats not right.
daithifleming 3 years ago

So basically what Hillary said was if she was in office she would even the balance in equality of pay in gender...
The reason why mean get paid more is more so biological, naturally men are better with electronics, math, and science, as well as less likely to perform the non-paid homemaker and child-rearing occupations. So naturally men get paid more. So what she would do would instate a mandatory increase in minimum wage to ONLY women to even the balance. Now is that right?
blumac81 4 years ago
What are you saying Blumac81. There is biological reasons, naturally men are better with electronics? what kind of statements are these, You also managed to misspell Men for heavens sake! This is what is wrong with Americans, we cannot continue to to think one class or gender is the elite and deserves extra benefits like wage increases for men as this guy suggests.

What bothers me the most about Hillary is; she says for women's rights, but she stood by Bill while he sexually harassed women. She did nothing about it. Instead she smeared the women, and she backed Bill while lied on national TV to the American people. The Clintons have no honor, but too themselves!
Realperson31 4 years ago 2
Yeah, Ron Paul TALKS about it, but once Republicans get in office they deliver NOTHING. Obama is an amalgamation of John Edwards and Hilary Clinton. He repeats what Hilary says and copies Edwards plans at the same time as criticising them. I would want a President who can actually think for themself.

It is for exactly this kind of situation that the Clintons should be required to divulge the extent of their involvement with foreign interests and exactly how much money their personal bank accounts and their Library/Foundation have received.
Realperson31 4 years ago
The Saudis (Arabs) donated to the Clinton's Library and personal bank account. This was discovered by the New York Times when the information was inadvertently posted on the Library's Web site. Soon after the story appeared, it was taken down. The Clintons refuse to reveal the donors to the Library or the related Foundation. Hillary and Bill have also refused to release their income tax returns, despite the fact that Bill willingly released his when he was running for president.
Realperson31 4 years ago 2
Hillary is totally unable to be objective of our national financial sovereignty because she and her husband have been so compromised by their financial dealings with the very countries at issue in the decision.
Saudi monarchy been permitted to purchase an important equity position in some of America's leading banks? How can Hillary be objective when the very same monarchy donated $10 millions to the Clinton Library and Foundation?!
Realperson31 4 years ago
I'm a republican, but I really love what the democratic candidates have to say in regards to peace, civil liberties, and justice in America. But Clinton was a little off in the final statement. If you disagree with the democrat's economic policies (e.g. against free markets), there is a republican candidate who talks about justic, peace, and civil liberty - Ron Paul.
