  • @elvikingo26, I am a recent convert to The Church Christ' TRUE Church, Ive found no faver in the Protestant Evangelical Churches 100% Catholic Hope the Vatican allows Latin in the Masses again!

  • The piece and the photos totally contradict each other, lol! But, beautiful recording.

  • que es el tantum ergo en si quien me podria decir?

  • I will translate lusti85's quote below......"In my church, we still sing the Tantum Ergo during exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. It's truly beautiful and I thank God for having made me Catholic."

  • En mi Iglesia todavia cantamos el Tantum Ergo durante la exposicion del Santicimo es verdaderamente hermoso, gracias a Dios que me hizo Catolico

  • Yes, the Catholic Liturgy is precious beyond expressing it seems. My memories of the Latin Mass also, really are the most joyous of my life. The Book of Revelation says that in these Last Days, the holiness of those seeking holiness shall increase, and that those who practice evil shall likewise increase in it. The Bible also states that the wicked hate the good of those who do it, and likewise, the good hate the evil of those who are wicked!!

  • I agree 100% with muisire. I'm not as old but I remember mass in Latin in Malta and remember singing this hymn. Very reverent indeed.

  • Im young, Catholic and proud of it. I could listen to this stuff all day!

  • @58847436 Good for you 58847436. Keep it up and maybe the Holy Spirit will inspire you one day to become a faithful and Holy priest. God Bless!

  • Second Vatican Council was made for catholics who didnt understand what mass was about or were unable to interact because they couldnt use latin. Latin in my opinion is the most reverent and beautiful way of celabrating the mass but as one priest put it for me, alot of people did not respect latin and therefore needed a more concrete way of understanding. Should tradition/customs have died? Should Latin have died??? ABSOLUTLY not! I wish and pray that they will one day do both latin and english.

  • @58847436 To be frank about it, the Church authorities (meaning Pope Paul VI, etc.) made such an awful botch of the transition to a vernacular liturgy-they should simply had had the Tridentine Mass translated into the appropriates language and left well enough alone.

  • @RPenta that was not part of their plan..... its about the destruction of the Church. slowly...quietly...as for today's changes- merely two steps forward and one step back (kneeling for "communion")

  • Catholic forever baby

  • @TomQuoVadis Me three.

  • It is because of modern thinking and psychology the NEW Religion. The Liberals within the Church and the feminists are trying to turn the Catholic Church into one big social working organisation Nuns and priests into paid social workers or something like that. ( I could be wrong but that is what it looks and soundslike to me ).and is what Pope John Paul tried to counteract I think by appointing as many traditionist Biships into Cardinals He wanted another traditional elected as Pope.

  • @patkane50 Wow....that gave me goosebumps. I literally *JUST* finished a documentary on the popes of the 19th Century. The pope had a vision in which Satan told God he would destroy the Catholic Church and all world religions. Pious XIII was the one.

Tanto quiero a "Tantum Ergo"

  • @patkane50 You are forgetting one symbol, The Sun, just about to break into the horizon is one of Satan's most cherished symbols. It is representing his "New Dawn" and the antichrist. You are exactly right in all points, i commend you. Now put some research into how the Free Masons have actually caused, and dictated the Second Vatican Council. A hint One of the popes of the 15-1600ds gave a warning about what would happen if any freemasons were aloud to enter the church.

  • Pictures = Freemasons

  • I love being Catholic. :D

  • @TomQuoVadis noob

  • @TomQuoVadis me too. :)

  • I don't think the Council is responssible for the baby going with the dirty water. Have you tried to talk to those responsible for the liturgy in your church to bring these hymns back, the music director, the pastor, etc. I did and we do sing them now. Today we will sing it during the Transfer Procesion of the Eucharist. The priest will carried the Body of Jesus under a new canopy, also a restored tradition. BTW I am writting his post on Holy Thursday.

  • I don't understand.. there are such beautiful pictures on the Internet... Why have you chosen these ugly pictures that means nothing ??

  • no entiendo el ingles, me lo traduces al español, gracias, Ruben

  • @gygye These pictures do mean somthing. Many of these pictures have somthing to do with freemasonry. As any educated traditional Catholic knows, the freemasons were responsible for the "Novus Ordo".

  • PAX!!!!

  • Very, very, very ugly photos !!!!

  • @TheFifiboy The pics may be bad!!! But the Chant is Heaven on Earth.

  • This is so beautiful - it something to remember for years and to remember with tears. I remember hearing it and singing it as a child, as a teenager, as a young man. I am now 71 years old and have heard this great hymn at Benediction just 3 times in 35 years.

I do not know - they never explain - why the Catholic Church in Ireland where I grew up and in Wales where I live has put an end to so many beautiful customs since the Second Vatican Council.

    Thank God for Youtube...

  • Has the baby been thrown out with the bath water by the Council?

  • I´m wandering the same. I remember hearing it and singing it as a child, in a little church in Tilcara, close to the Andes at provincia de Jujuy in the extreme north of Argentina. why they eliminated gregorian chant?

  • @muisire wow, that is interesting...i was asked to attend a traditional latin mass & i fell in love with the mass & benediction...i just love Tantum Ergo

  • @muisire quit going to the vatican II church. there are true traditional masses available.. email me.

  • ugly photos
