My thoughts exactly Danny Adman. I miss this pre-show greatly. When I first saw it in the 90's it was during a very stressful and tough time in my life and I used to stand in the pre-show sobbing (good tears) being reminded of what's important. Thanks for the reminder again - now you owe me a box of Kleenex.

thank you so much for sharing this...I saw this in 1997, 1999, and 2002 with this introduction, and I have always loved it. The change intro, which I saw in 2007, was nice, but this had a magic to it...made me feel good and reminded me that a little imagination is a beautiful thing.

I was inspired to look for it after watching a Kodak commercial from the early 90s that had "Daddy's Little Girl." I just remembered how good I felt seeing this...thank you for helping me relive that feeling!

I'm sitting here in a state of shock. I haven't seen this since I was at Epcot in the mid 90s, searched for it for years and finally gave up a few years ago, resigning myself to the fact that I would never see it again. OH MY GOD THIS IS A FABULOUS PIECE OF ART! The people behind the making of this, whoever they are....god bless you. It just makes my heart swell up. What a shame they keep this locked up in some vault somewhere.....the world should be forced to watch this each and every day.

@reilly10126 Oh I totally agree :) I was in a state of shock myself when I found this song on youtube a couple of years ago. I'd been searching for it - well the entire family had - since we first heard it. Kodak and Disney both told us they couldn't help us get it. Oh well it's here and I love it. Can't ever get tired of it! :)

I recall a different version as a kid that I believe was the predecessor of this video. Funny, years ago, I brought my girlfriend (now my wife) and was telling her about the song/video and was disappointed when this one started to play. I do like this version's video, however, the song I remember (as a kid), was sung only by kids or a young woman..

OMG!!! I use to work this attraction at Epcot & loved this version of True Colors. Very upset when they changed it out & was not able to find the music anywhere. Thank you for posting. Now I can relive some fond memories.

I saw this in 1997 and 2001. When I went back in 2008 I was so sad to see it gone...even though I hadn't seen it in forever...the image of the yellow lab was forever engraved in my mind. It reminds me of our old lab Jake...I miss him.

This was AMAZING! I used to tear up everytime I saw it. The cool thing (which most people don't know) is that this production was projected on a screen from 5 still frame slide projectors! No CGI or video here. Basic technology used to produce a fun, "animated" film
