  • Thanks a lot, very helpful!

  • hey, man, thx for the tutorial, one question thou, if i use any lettertypes, they kind of stretch, even the sans type that you are using in this here tutorial, I don't mean stretch nicely like it does in you tutorial I mean a stretch like really ugly an m become unreadable an s becomes like fat as hell even the c and the t do that is there anything you know, that you can do to prevent this from happening...

  • Nice good videos i love it keep up the GOOD WORK

  • my text always float off iun the distance when i text along path, how do i get the text to text along the actual path (line)? great vidoe btw

  • doesn't work?

  • Had the hardest time figuring this out on my own, thanks!

  • THANKS MAN! THIS WILL REALLY HELP ME OUT.

  • Thanks mate. I'm new at gimp so I'm learning things the hard way. Doing some freelancing so this really helps.

  • Thanks for the quick tutorial, if someones looking to warp text they already have the basics and you're great at not.... over-dumbing-things-down lol! Hard to find a toot thats under 10 minutes and doesnt explain paths

  • It was a nice tutorial.

But i wanted to write the letters first and then draw the path.

Your video illustrates the problem i have writing my Christmas cards even with a black background.

  • I follow you step by step, but every time I click "text along path" i also get two lines of my text connecting all the way up to the top left corner.

  • @playwithursoul Never mind, man. I figured things out.

  • @playwithursoul im having the same issue =( what were u doing??

  • @BrieSuz18 it's the size of the text. it has to be a certain size depending on how long or short the path is. I undid the text, changed the size, then typed the text back in. I kept doing it until I got it to be the size where it won't link to a corner.

  • i learned more than just text to path ! youre a brilliant educator bro thx :)

  • This sorta worked for me. When I hit text to path is doesn't put it in the same place that I had placed the text, but part of it is in the correct shape-- some words end up jumbled. I've tried this several times and the result it always the same.

  • Thanks so much for doing this video. I couldn't get my lines to curve easily because I've never used GIMP for paths. The 'move' feature on the paths tip you gave is GREAT! I love you!

  • Thanks for keeping helping us!

  • Hi. Thanks for the tutorial. Is there an easy way to make the top of the text aligned with the path (as if the text is hanging off the path), instead of the default mode of the bottom of the text being aligned with the path?
