i have a problem with this cam, i record a video and sometimes makes corrupted videos, the file is big so it had recorded but when i try to play it doesn't work, it's a memory problem? i try to reset the setting but nothing change, or maybe the battery?

hey great video btw, I need some help...

how do I adjust the sound sensitivity on this camera as I have the same camera and record everything else where (apart from water parks and wet places -- as my previous one broke due to that) and so it makes this *zzzzzzz* sound like on your video...

@TheWeekendVlogger Uploading HD has to do with the YouTube limitations. I cannot upload i HD either, 480p highest def for me. Even my GoPro Hero HD movies don't do that

"IT'S CRAP" mine lasted only 2 months. A week befor I scratched it on concrete so Sanyo said thay would only fix it once thay said it my fault ha! All thay did was dry it out, thay fixed nothing it always leeks so i pulled it apart & found that the main seal is to big/long so it will never seal rite also the camera button doesn't work now & the zoom in/out & the menu buttons is almost the same work "IT'S CRAP"

Alright, I just got my xacti CA9. It is an awesome little video camera. The snapshots are good but really slow in taking the photos. Here's a link to download my underwater sample:

it's unedited and is raw right out of the camera. It's a weird feeling sinking your video camera underwater. The file is 66MB.

I bought this camera after watching most of the reviews & video clips on here. Overal its really good but be carefull when using it in swimming pools. If you read the small print in the user manual it says you shouldn't use it in swimming pools because of the chemicals in the water my effect the rubber keeping it water proof & there for your warrenty will be invalid!! However i have used mine in the hotel pool & so far its ok.

No - just outdoors stuff where there is a risk of damage to the camera (ie water, skiing, motorbike). The VPC-CA9 camera produces great quality footage, and the files (mp4) are easy to handle. If I want the best, I use either my HFS10 or HDC-TM350, but the files are AVC format (mts) and much larger

You can flip out - turn and flip in again: You're filming with the display reversed: the lcd is on the outside.

well he's moving pretty fast and the camera is trying to adjust and focus, water on lens and constant lighting changes doesn't help. I would say it's pretty good quality unless you can find a camera that can adjust in a snap and maintain consistent focus quality.
