Well this is off topic to the tutorial... but how would one slur two different notes together like on written music? I'm attempting to cover 1979 by the smashing pumpkins and uhh I kinda came to a halt when I had to slur notes.
@fishcomputer33 Spread the two notes across two channels. I'd recommend the 2 pulse channels since you can use the same instrument on both channels except you can't use the shape command on the instrument screen on PU2. I've done this before for some songs.
@Gromkorify There's a "Pre-Listen" option in the menu (where you save, load, change BPM etc.) Select that and the sound will play when you place your notes. Just hitting start at anytime also helps.
I hit the buttons but they're not working. Mine looks a little diffrent. it doesn't have the words above the comlumns on the main screen or the letters in the bottom right. Is this a problem, do I have the wrong kind? lol
I got a diffrewnt version and it has the thing on the bottom right and i can get into the screen. now the emulator don't have sound xD know of a good emulator?
@Klar1net I don't even know how to get a basic beat going on that thing...saw my bro and I was like oh looks easy...then i got it and I was like what the hell this isn't even the slightist bit straight forward :l
ty dude nice job....i know the nullsleep guid but i dont have the time and so to read this ....so the vid owns..... only look and learn is much better and easier! :D

I don't have the pre-listen option in that menu. I'm using the demo version, but I'm sure it should be there. Help?

@DemRupees If I'm not mistaken I think the demo version is an older version of LSDJ and might not have it.

@rzqxx5gv I use GEST. I think I got it from Zophar(dot)net. I've heard good things about Goomba too.
