  • Inuyasha music..lol

  • Is it better than dabur amla oil?

  • I am african american and my dear indian friend, Reyna suggested it to me a few months ago after I had bad breakage. I use as a pre-poo over night, wash out next day with fav shampoo. Then deep cond with Queen Helen Prof Cholestorol. Love it!

  • can u keep it on overnight?

  • @missexyscorpio yeah on the bottle it says for best results leave it overnight.

  • @missexyscorpio yes over night normally u have to do live it over night for more silky smooth looking

    lol

  • Your very pretty!

  • @LatinaWomenRBeauties she is. she should model. :)

  • dnt put it in the microwave! it makes all the good stuff go away, i just put it in really hot water for a few minute and it melts aa bit

  • you can get local somali shop in your area, they sell this oil vantika too,am frm africa i used since i was young and luv this oil is good for all type hair, used after you wash your hair.

  • yea sure i think its good enough maybe u have a diffrent type of hair or u might just try using olive oil which is gud for all hair types !

  • @MsZoyastar1 ok thanks!! i just bought vatika today lol. i will give it a try :)

  • great hair im indian too i have knee length and i use coconut oil too its great !!!

  • @MsZoyastar1 do you know if this product is good an all hair types? i am of mostly of african descent and interested in trying this product. I've heard nothing but good reviews on Indian oil treatments and honestly i've tried all of the "black" hair products and ended up disappointed every time =/ !! So i really would like to know if this is worth it.

  • Your eyebrows are pretty(: and I wish I had an Indian store where i live now :(

  • your indian u dont need chemicalz at all

  • Hey, thx for the tutorial! I have a Q: I use coconut oil like u showed but when I use it I have tons of hair (like 20) coming out with my hands brushing throu is it normal? I use organic natural coconut oil. Thx!

  • can i use this on jet black dye hair ??

    love the video =)

  • Your hair is short, but it looks really healthy and thats all I want truely

  • looks nice, but i like very long hair that is beyond knee but not necessarily floor length.old typical Indian concept of a women's hair was floor length however ,and still followed in parts of India.

  • you are very amazingly stunning

  • Lol I thought you had a long hair before you removed your scarf cuz of the stereotyping I got in my mind that all indians got long hair! But still you got nice hair even with it being short :)

  • you're cute!

  • does it al make ur hair grow longer and thicker?

  • Che bel viso che hai :-)

  • What are the songs you used in this video ?

  • @ife25usckid why do ppl ask what song is playing? i dont get it.

  • Beautiful!

  • Every heart by boa!!! thats my song!!

  • WHAT IF I PUT THIS OIL ON MY EYEBROWS???LOL..NO SERIOUSLY

  • thank you for posting it... Does it really work?

  • not quite. it has mineral oil in it. not good :(

  • I'm wearing the same scarf now haha=)

  • thank you so much i have been looking for that kind of product

  • Oh snap! Didn't know non-black women wore head scarves to bed...not being racist or anything, I just didn't know.

  • how long have you been using this vatika coconut oil?

  • i used vatika. good. but i like the pure kinds better...unrefined organic coco oil and almond oil is better...no preservatives or additives. (wholefoods)

  • i will seriously give this oil a try

  • thanks for the video, i used olive oil and loved it

  • Vatika Hair Oil is good because it absorbs well in the hair. Its a breeze for me to blow dry now.

  • thank you for showing us how to apply this oil, i just got it for my co worker.....can't wait to try it....

    thank you again :)

  • Is that the Inuyasha theme playing in the background??

  • omfreakingod...please...clean your room before you make a video. I tell sooo many people this.

  • @CassieAnnaCary Messy women are better in bed, just saying...

  • @GwendolynRaine yeah but low in class ;)

  • You are so lucky. Indians have the best hair.

  • @fueledbykaren i know mashallah! so beautiful

  • Have you ever used Vatiks in conjunction with a plastic conditioning cap overnight and then shampoo in the morning with a mild shampoo??? If so, what were the results??/ I as well as many African-American women love using Indian/Ayurvedic hair products such as the oils & herbs; and I find that, those of us who do use them have healthier, longer and stronger hair

  • @QueenEyeCee i use coconut oil, in overnight then i use mane and tail shampoo anfd let it air dry, amazing results. do it about 3 times a week

  • i saw on another video that this can change the color of naturally black hair and make it reddish is that true?

  • @munkmunlk it's true. I have naturally very dark brown, almost black, hair. When I use this oil, my hair goes red. It's due to the henna.

You should get a hair oil without henna if you don't want a red tone.

  • @Extravaganza1 how red did it get.. and how long did it take to turn red... i been using it for almost 3 weeks now

  • Oh yeah i dont reccomend a bandana for the conditioning method because it will absorb in the bandanna. Try a satin or silk scarf instead. :) Sorry i meant to put it all in one post but i would forget what else to say.. hehe

  • hehe tell your mom the next time she goes to India i wanna go,,, lol... Iove indian hair products.

  • Im african american i Love coconut oil on my hair... I plan to grow my hair to my waist line in 2 years. Thanks to coconut oil my hair is healthier, shiny and thick :)

  • @lunaf11: Have you tried using castor oil? It basically does the same things the oil you use

  • You can get most natural hair products (essential/carrier oils, aloe juice, leave-ins, shampoos, etc) on iherb.com. Just got aloe juice from there. It's a really good website. This time of the year they also have great discount and they have a flat shipping rate of $4 but depending on the weight of your order, you might as little as $2 for shipping. Here is a coupon for you ladies and gents to use for $5 off: ARU392 (this is for first time orders). Many people can use it.

    Happy New Year 2011!!

  • that song is from innuyasha

  • hi ,i really thank u for sharing this tips .so can u plz tell me ,how can i wash the coconut oil from my hair? i put the coconut oil on my hair after i washed my hair after 3 days then my hair became so oily & i do not know how to wash it.should i wash it with shampoo or wash it with water only.can u also tell me the right steps of putting the natural coconut oil.

  • @monicaazizfarag Hi im Indian and my grandma who is very old schooled told me this coconut oil method. She massaged it in for me and basically 3-4 days later ( i like putting it on Friday night until Sunday morning) you use baby shampoo because its so mild to wash it out. I do it and i had very thing hair that is getting thick, long and shiny ( the good kind of shiny) :)

  • omg u listening to boa! i love her songs lol

  • Omg. Jpop! I love you!!

  • Thanks for sharing! Would you recommend Amla Oil? If so, what is the difference between the two? Thanks again :)

  • ooh im interested now :)

i might try it soon :)

&& i wanted to ask what the song was because i seem to recognise it :|

  • r u malayalee? any instead of bandana, use saran wrap i know it sounds crazy

  • Comment removed

  • TY :).. definitely gonna try it out

  • nice vid!

  • Nice vid!

  • Hi I have medium length blonde hair which I colour once a month. I also blow dry and use a straightener ever second day due to my hair being rather kinky/wavy. I've got chemical damage and was considering an oil to help repair it. How would you recommend I use it? Leaving it in isn't an option for me as my hair tends to look greasy as it is. Any tips please?

  • @SuperHelloKitty85 my hair type is jus like urs - ive never colored my hair due to the fact my hair folicle is very fine! and coloring causes alot of damage - u should oil ur hair for 30 mins before showring - and wash it well u should do it like twice a week n ull see a diffrance in a month just stick to it

  • @denzelswifey86 Thanks so much for the tip. I will definitely give it a try :)

  • Hi I love the oil too I need to know where I can find it in Houston? Do you know?

  • can you use the oil as a leave-in hair oil ?

  • you're right about the sauna effect but it would benefit you more if u actually use a shower cap (which would keep the heat and moisture within the hair/on scalp) then put the bandana on so during the night your scalp can get a nice natural heat treatment with all that moisurizin' as well as help keep the shower cap in place . the method's called the real queens i believe.

  • It is awesome stuff I am using it....makes your hair real shiney and soft

  • I love your background music! It's the theme music for one of my favorite shows, Inuyasha.

  • I love this stuff..I was just introduced to it from another blog. I have medium curly waist length hair. It does a great job, relaxes the curl and the smell is not obnoxious as the alma oils I used to use. Great vid!

  • WIll this make my hair oily?

  • How ofenlty can yu use this ?

  • are you watching inuyasha........it sounds like it :)

  • Should the hair be a little wet before you put on the oil??

  • wher can i buy in the UK

  • Thank you very much

    I liked your video

  • how do u have such an amazing tan?!?!

  • @drummerbradley Her tan looks natural.

  • @drummerbradley i think its her natural skin color not a tan :)

  • wow i liked how you knew what each ingredient meant

  • When you say olive oil can be used, is this the same olive oil that can be purchased at the grocery store? or is there a special "for hair" olive oil?

  • @girldevl Same oil from the grocery store just make sure its extra virgin olive oil.

  • cool! BoA in the background

  • when u heat up the oil..do u put the whole bottle in microwave?? or do u pour some and then heat it up?

  • thank you for sharing this information! I just got some on line and can't wait to start using it!!!

  • XD are you listening to Boa in the video XD? hello Kpop :3

  • this is great, but this video could've been a lot shorter

  • I live in London . Do you know where can I find that product?

  • @rosanadelao i live also in uk i thought london got all the indian products i live near birmingham i buy it for 3.99 indian stores

  • you are so pretty!

  • Can I use it as an everday hair oil, or do I always have to wash my hair after using it? Great video!

  • heeyy i just start using virgin coconut oil to growth my terrible pixie hair :'( can i use coconut oil everyday before i go to sleep and then rinse it in the morning??i wash my hair everyday btw

  • @amandhira Yes.

  • @amandhira i dont recommend washing your hair everday because it strips all the natural oils out of your hair :)

  • Thanks for the great advice and demonstration. I am African-American and I will try this to add sheen and luster to my hair, and health for my scalp. I shall pick this product up at my local Indian store tomorrow. I will update you on my success! Thank you

  • you are so sweet and pretty !

  • omg! i love this oil... i just got it yesterday and used it today! it made my hair super duper soft! i post som before and after pictures later...thanks for the recommendation!!!! *all with love, and love with all!*

  • can it be a leave on conditioner or just overnite and wash out in the morning?

  • is that from inuyasha? the song

  • @biracialbutterfly100

I was thinking the same exact same thing.

    and yes. it is.

  • i bought some of the vatika coconut oil today at a local indian grocer and your video was perfect on explaining how to use it. but i was wondering, do you have to wet your hair before you put the oil in your hair? also i have very curly hair. does it still have the same effect since my hair isn't straight? great video(: thanks

  • @emmatastic I use it on dry hair. When I tried it on wet hair, I felt as though the oil stayed on my hands and not on my hair. I have curly hair too!

  • lovely

  • you have such a nice voice. It sounds so calm and peacefull if u know what i mean.

Indian women are always soooo beautiful. that's my opinion. Are u listening to a chinese song ? lol sounds nice.

thanks! i thought that was BoA's voice! but i was thrown off cause i heard korean but i'm used to hearing this in japanese from inuyasha like the other commenters mentioned

anyway thanks for the title of the song

  • So I bought it and I'm in love with it I've used coconut oils before, amla from Dabur, brahmi etc., but Vatika oil and lemon shampoo are truly excellent. I love it.

  • i love inuyasha too.Oil is so important.I was wondering why my hair breaks easily and it was because I didn't use oil like I use to.i have curly multi-racial[4 races] hair

  • hi, just wanted to ask, is ktc pure coconut oil also good for hair?

  • can this be used on gray hair?

  • I recognize those songs from Inuyasha. Love it. I've got to try some Vatika next

  • hey r u indian?? im indian too! d u know how to thicken hair? i used to have thick hair naturally and i bleached it and it became thin right now its healthy but not as thick so how cna i make it thicker? ur video is very informative i usually use olive oil and noticed a major difference now my hair is soo shiny and silky and soft and healthy! :)

  • Do u ever leave it in your hair (little bit) and do u sleep in the scarf every night?

  • where can I get this oil from? I live in maryland and cant find it anywhere!?!? help!

  • one this girl is beautiful and two i love the inuyasha theme song in the background

  • omg u have that song Every Heart on ur backround cool!

  • i think you are having dandruff, so you often scratch your hair, you arent sexy and thats not the way to massage your hair.....

  • omg omg vatica!! holy cow!!

i had vatica a year ago. i swear by it. i never found it again. if anyone knows where i can get that please let me know.

its the best ever made. it transformed my hair. i love it to bits!!

  • do you shampoo and condition your hair after you leave the oil in over night?

  • hey i am really glad that u as a paki is doing reviews and stuffi really like it :) can u do foundation routine i know u dont wear make up but for our skin type and color :) and do u live in usa??

  • so do you shampoo ur hair after that?

  • Bandanas soak up the moisture in your hair drying it out, same thing with cotton pillows, plus the friction it causes on your hair. Satin satin satin! Silk or satin hair scarves and pillow cases help keep your hair nice and healthy and protected! :D

  • her hair is covered in coconut oil, its not going to get dried out while she's treating her hair under the scarf, since she's going to rinse it out.

satin scarves get stained with oils, i only use them to sleep, never when i have oils on my hair.

  • Yey, I just bought myself a bottle. I have sometimes problems removing oil, so what works for me is to put the shampoo in dry hair and massage it throughly before wetting my hair.

Wow, you have such thick hair! Are you growing it longer?

  • is that the theme for inyuyasha!!!! omfg!!! noooooooooooo way

  • I just wanted to say I've used canola oil and it works fine... Olive oil is nice, too. I'm sure coconut oil or one bought from the store might smell nicer.

  • love this vid... i'm doing this right now with olive/almond oil mixed... also, i love the BoA playing in the background. makes me want to watch inuyasha! lol and you are soooo pretty, your skin is so smooth like butter! :D

  • you have gorgeous skin! how do you do your makeup?

  • @glam16girl i dont do make-up i hate make-up i just do eyes if anything or i will do some foundation like nars

  • @lunaf11 I'LL BET THAT'S WHY U HAVE SUCH GORGEOUS SKIN! TO HAVE THE VERY BEST SKIN IT'S A GOOD IDEA TO STAY AWAY FROM MAKEUP IF U CAN.

  • so what natural type shampoo do you use to rinse/wash out the oils after your hair has a night of soaking?

i have been using olive oil, but will soon move to coconut oil like you..

p.s. you are very pretty :)

  • This is the BEST video for how to apply the oil into your hair than any other,

    Thank you for sharing =D

  • Just a suggestion: try a silk scarf instead of a cloth scarf; the cotton scarf absorbs the oil from your hair.

  • nice dewy foundation(:

    It looks really good .

  • hi .. u have beautiful hair. when i dry my hair and then oil it, it gets stiff. Can you show how do you dry your hair?

  • lol cooking oil lmao

  • what is it with people and their obsession with hair that doesn't look greasy? Its a hair treatment, give her a break!! SI ordered Vatika last week, I'm hearing great things about it. I know that it has mineral oil, but the lemon will help to protect the scalp from becoming congested.

  • @deannej21 it doesn't have mineral, some dabur oils do have, but not this one

  • whats your nationality?

  • Hey you know if the Vatika hair oil has mineral oil in it? And I hear Inuyasha music LOL

  • does VATIKA smell bad ?

  • nope not htat bad..

  • lol i know that japanese song in the background! tehehehe! its from inu yasha
