I am a fan of Take That, but how do you know that they are not arrogant or full of themselves. You don't know them personally. They do seem a bit arrogant in this footage.

And, let's be honest, fame hasn't driven Take That round the bend quite like it did to Britney.

In my opinion, Britney is getting a bit past her sell-by-date.

She did a concert the other week and mimed the whole thing, while Take That are famed for doing the opposite, Take That forever I say!

Good point, but Britney is a lot younger than Take That and Take That don't have money-loving, money-grubbing, fame-obsessed parents like Britney. I think that Lynne Spears is also responsible what happened to Britney. Take That are from a working-class background and they have family that keep them grounded.

You have Barlow who holds them together particularly as a live band. The others are the dressing. They would and have been nothing without him and he is nothing without them.They seem like honest chaps if you sat down with Howard and Jason they would probably say they weren't the best singers. I have heard some of the band jokingly refer to themselves as the 'backing dancers'. Clearly they are not as bothered as you are when it comes to clarifying their talent and how 'good' they are.

Although, Take That are an entertaining 'live' act. Without the glue that is Barlow they do not stand a chance. Without Barlow they are very very weak singers. At least Girls Aloud & Spice Girls (except Posh) individually can hold a tune.

The point being is that Mark as an individual mocked somebody who is to my mind a great pop creation. He sold poorly as a solo artist. As a solo artist he did not connect with fans. As a member of a group he is a great success. Britney has sold in and around 100 million records. I'd say the lady knows what she's doing and is perhaps entitled to an 'off' day.

Not sure when you have heard Girls Aloud or Spice Girls sing live...probably never as they couldn't do it. Take that have varied sining and dancing talents but they all contribute to an overall excellent live show - an incredible experience - you should try it

In fact, I think it's a little bit of help. Take That's legions and legions of fans don't exactly HATE the fact that they will always make the effort to sing live, and they have confidence in themselves and their talent.

Actually, singing live has more perks than miming, like... a slip-up made in a live act lead to 'Under The Bridge' being released as a Red Hot Chili Peppers single. And nobody regrets THAT!

They are different then what's been shoved down our throats on the radio repetitively here in the U.S. and I think that's another reason I've grown to love 'em.
