It seems to me one could say every guitarist sounds like someone before them. Jimmy Paige sounds like Buddy Rich, BB King. Zakk Wylde sounds like EVH, Randy Rhoades and so forth. To me Eddie sounds like nothing I've ever heard before him. I feel he is the true innovator unless you count the dude who played the first guitar ever. Thus making EVH the greatest guitarist ever! If anyone could name someone who Eddie sounds like before him I who like to know who that would be.

One of their coolest sounding songs. The lyrics I think Dave wrote when he was drunk though. Just guessing. Even as "weird" as the lyrics are, they make prefect sense still. I also think if Sammy sang on this instead it would not have been as great. He wouldn't have sung it "raunchy" enough and he would have sang about dreams or about pound cakes or something. The guitar riffs are brilliant.
