@JangoUnleashed click on the arrow underneath select and make sure transparent selection has a check mark next to it.

how do you remplace the colours?

@xdanxlei Use Colour picker, and right click the colour you want, and left click the colour you want to replace. then select the eraser, and hold right click and move it over the colour you want to replace.

what way are you doing it? If your doing the Right-click Eraser trick, that should work.
