  • Looks like if he had Diogenes Syndrome.

  • If you could enhance Ted's speech volume on his videos that would be so helpful. Thanks for sharing these.

  • it takes alot of skill and work to play a tele. humbuckers give more output so you dont have to press as hard or worry about how you are touching the guitar. with a tele single coil you will hear all your mistakes. thats why the metal heads love gibsons

  • seems like a sweet kind fellow

  • Yay!!! Ted archives, thanks

  • 4:36 I don't care what you name it, jazz or what not, because this is not the 'boring' jazz you hear 97% of the time. His playing is constantly going to audial climax. So many people answer the question: "Who is your favourite guitarist?" with hendrix. I hope they someday ask me so I can say Ted Greene just to see their pupils dilate when I let them hear a track of his. I can really say I found someone inspiring. Is there actually anything bad about this guy? Other then being constantly baffled?

  • Wow! He memorizes String Gages! Wow!

  • Really cool to see this, as I just bought an ASAT Special myself. To have a master like Ted say he likes it makes me feel good.

  • finally somebody like me ,that work in a mass,he he

Ted your are the greatest!!! rest in light

  • fantastic is TED !! IS MY FAVORYT

  • Great video. Too much talking by Nick.

  • wow, nice to know the strings that TG uses.

  • Towards the end there, Ted is playing Ed Bickert's intro to "Just Squeeze Me" off of Paul Desmond's "Pure Desmond" album.

  • @waldo2384 was Bickert the first guy to bring the tele into jazz with the big guns. He plays that tele like a 50,000 archtop.

  • @pickinstone I've seen video of Joe Messina playing jazz on a tele back in the 50s.

  • @waldo2384 I gotta check that out. Every guitar is like playing a different instrument. Each has different tonal properties to bring to that musical table, so to speak. That's why I love listening to Frisell's work on his Tele, it works because he realizes that sound in his head. Ted talks about that jangle, an archtop doesn't give you that and I say that as an avid archtop player myself.

  • so awesome to see any video of Ted...Ted gives away a set of strings too, wow

  • Oh mine a new Ted video, it's like Christmas to a child!
