  • you will never get anything out of these freemason officers

  • For god's sake why on Earth are you people out to anoy and get the police?

You should shut up your useless moaning and get on with your life, people like you are just pests to the rest of society.

  • Your A wanker, grow a pair

  • His Police rank is Inspector when you get to that rank and above you dont have a number !

  • How hard is it?!

He is a Inspector he does not have a Police badge number, he says "Bishops Gate Police Station" because what you would have to do is go to Bishops Gate Police Station and make a complaint against the Inspector, he is not known by a number as is a Constable.

  • A quota inspector too, no doubt.

  • i would say the reason ,he doesnt have a number ,is because he aint police ,this was done back during the miners strike ,were they used para,s in cop uniforms to go to town on the people ,look it up:)

  • Come to Merseyside, where the local Police will be happy to shove that camera up your arse. Give me number, give me your number... sound like a fuckin dick..

  • its getting worse by the day ,,we are all fucked

  • Little Lord Fauntleroy, "interrogating" the copper. What a cunt.

  • So what if he is an inspector ... They have to give u there shoulder number .. Go on u mate keep it up .. Go and suck the cops cock the rest of u .. They don't proect us for shit .. They corrupt bastards

  • @shabzt They don't HAVE shoulder numbers you idiot!! HAHA!! Get a clue before you start spouting crap

  • @shabzt Just for your info - it is not illegal for a police officer to not give numbers only force policy ! And an inspector does not have shoulder numbers - if he wanted to identify him - how many black inspectors do you think there are in city police ????

  • @ococircusboy police reform act police must identify themselves to members of the public when asked. also you are perfectly within your rights to ask to see his warrant card, how do you know he is actually a cop the uniforms are not hard to come by, stand up 4 your rights if everyone keeps letting the police of with breaking the law then this country is in serious trouble

  • @MrBillyt12345 identity for an inspector that does not have a shoulder number is the station he is based. Any officer can identify themselves by the police station / surname or have a look at their chest(for name) or shoulder number. How many black inspectors do you reckon there are at bishopsgate police station in CoLp???

  • @ococircusboy agreed, but they must also show u their warrant card if u ask to c it because as i stated how do u know that they are a real police officer, and also if he is a real cop and he does not have his warrant card then he/she has no legal authority over u. it is a basic thing that a lot of people do not realise :- no warrant card = no legal power.

  • @MrBillyt12345 actually they do not have to show you their warrant card but it is advised - as a warrant card is just further proof (if in plain clothes then it is very advisable and a legality for searching).

A police officer still holds the office of constable regardless of warrant card. they have warrant at all times so if they do not have their warrant card with them and happen to arrest you in plain clothes it is still a legal arrest. no warrant card = no warrant card (not no legal power)

  • @ococircusboy wrong, i was in the army and worked closely with the ruc in northern ireland and i was told by an inspector in the ruc that if they do not have their warrant card then they cannot arrest you or anything their uniform is not their power the warrant card is, they have absolutely no power without the warrant card and i have seen officers sent of duty for not having their card,

  • @MrBillyt12345 you may then have Ireland confused with E&W - it may be so there but here it is not I can assure you !

  • @shabzt As about 10 other people have pointed out Inspectors (Which you can see this guy is by the stars of his shoulder) do not have shoulder numbers.

Also why do people ask for ''badge'' numbers with British Police? British Police don't have badge numbers. Too many idiots watching The Wire I guess.

  • fuck you protesters... do something worthwhile with your lives and stop crying, bitching and moaning...

    you all have low IQs

  • @masterpandaassassin you dumb cunt. how about fuck you. and these people ARE doing something worthwhile and I can assure you they have higher IQ's than yourself - you probably don't know what IQ even stands for.

  • @exile4eva haha what a saddo ! xD

  • @masterpandaassassin muggy little prick. probably getting knocked around by ur dads cock.

  • @exile4eva how immature, make up some new material that is actually designed to offend, please

  • @masterpandaassassin u mean like "saddo"? or "you all have low IQ's".. very intimidating mate.

  • @exile4eva You're trying your very hardest to offend me, yet you fail. What a loser.

  • HE'S AN INSPECTOR YOU IDIOT WHICH MEANS NO NUMBER !!!!!!

  • WHAT AN IDIOT DOING THE VIDEO. THE POLICE "OFFICER" IS A BLOODY INSPECTOR AND HAS NO NUMBER YOU DUMB NUT.

  • @imogen124 Why didn't he simply explain that, then?

  • This is the stupidist video I have ever seen. This is nothing short of harassment on the Police Officers, and youre lucky you werent arrested.

  • well done m8

  • Guy in the video pisses me off. What a knob. Everyone involved in the G20 wasted their time they cant change the minds or alter the ways of the elite. Britain is known as a nanny state, would love for the police to kick the shit out of him and shut him up.

  • The bloke talking on this is a prize knob and making a huge fool of himself.

  • Jesus, how badly does thecunt with the camera need his fucking nose broken?

  • He's an inspector... inspector's dont have numbers you uneducated, jobless, hippy. Stop using 'peaceful protest' as a guide to attack police and cause damage to buildings, to sate your own petty thirst for blood...

  • @Justicar1 well said mate this guy must have been bullied when he was a kid.... what a cock, get a life.

  • @Justicar1

Whats with the 'jobless' slur? Im unemployed and ive worked with my local police helping to set up a Nighbourhood Watch. Employment statue is not a barometer of character.

  • @WORLD8NSH5KNIGHT1

^^^ Neighbourhood and status that should be (my keyboard is slow)

  • You're an idiot...

  • Dude you're making a fool of yourself!!...you think they give a shit about you or any of us for that matter...dont give them the satisfaction....

  • People wonder why there is so much animosity towards police officers?

    This is why.

People do not become police officers out of respect for their community, and a desire to do good by their fellow citizens. They do it to make a living, and therefore most of our police officers are random guys with badges of power to utilise as they see fit.

    It's very, very sad.

  • @MrFiddles How do you know this are you a cop your assuming alot

  • Why don't you look at the role of a special constable. People who give up their spare time to look after the community.

  • @MrFiddles I think you're very sad and wrong! You see the police as the nazi army who just want to destroy all members of the public you need to grow up and learn some respect for me and other police officers!

  • @Jonny30284 why show the police respect when they reapeatedly break the law. he should have identified himself as he is required to under the police reform act. you must remember the police have sworn an oath to uphold the law not to pick and choose what laws they obey

  • @MrBillyt12345 They do not break the law and i think from my point of view this Police officer gave him his police station i think that is suffice information to report him! We do not break the law, if we did there wouldn't be any police officers you think just because we stand there doing our job you think we break the law! This is how clued up the public are.

  • @Jonny30284 he must identify himself as per the police reform act no arguments about it thats the law and no cop is above it, police routinely break the law, go into any town and c how many illegally parked police cars u c, how many cops are speeding when not on an emargency call, how many cops make up the rules as they go along because most of the public dont know, but as soon as someone who knows the rules 9 times out of 10 the cop will back down

  • @MrBillyt12345 Lies, Lies, Lies you are referring HM's police forces as a CRIMINAL ORGANISATION themselves! by it's 'members' breaking the law all the time! Well i can tell you YOUR WRONG! I am a senior officer for the Metropolitan Police and I KNOW that i'm above the law no question about it, but i can assure you that inspector is not breaking the law and neither do any of my officers throughout London, when you become a senior officer your collar number is not displayed!

  • @Jonny30284 so we have the final proof on computer that you as a senior officer in the met police know that you are above the law. are you sure about this now are you really really really saying that you as a senior met police officer ARE ABOVE THE LAW. so when i call the press with the print out of this and they investigate to find out who you are, you will be prepared to go on tv or in printed press and state that you a senior met officer ARE ABOVE THE LAW. think seriously about it!!!

  • @Jonny30284 because as far as im aware in t his country the only person who is above the law is the queen and that is only because she as the crown cannot prosecute herself, i am sure that the general public would be glad to know that u, a supposedly senior met police officer are also above the law that u are under an oath to uphold, so fucking funny. police reform act 2002 states that a police officer MUST identify him/her self when asked by a member of the public(your employers)

  • @Jonny30284 oh and did i mention that i am a fully qualified solicitor and know a hell of a lot more about the law than you do, ABOVE THE LAW that is so funny im going to show this round the office tomorrow and may email to some friends in london, i suppose you have diplomatic immunity as well do you?

  • what rank do the 2 pips give him?

  • The "pips" are called "bath stars" this gives him the rank of inspector. Inspectors do not have any number on they're uniform. Although he's from COLP, if you look on wikipedia, search metropolitan police they have a guide which shows you what all English (and welsh I think) shoulder IDs look like. The Met has 2 extra ranks though, but these are much higher up the chain.

  • @donvit2 Police inspector. The pips are orders of the bath star. Three pips would would be a chief inspector.

  • He is repetitive, brainwashed plum,he is a public servant, why doesnt he identify himself the plum.

  • God those cops are the gayest cops ever...

Palm d'or for Gayest cops of the year... and the winners are... ;)

  • inspectors don't have shoulder numbers genius

  • He is an inspector you can tell by his lapel insignia. Remember cops are people too and they have rights as well. He doesn't have to say anything while being filmed without consent.

  • Comment removed

  • fuck da police with glocks in and out of there arse holes

  • jippyjester ----are you some sort of cunt???.......how can you say we live in a police state? Try living where I grew up aboard, then come back to me wanker..

  • I believe that black police officer was an Inspector so no number, but he has very bad conversation skills.

  • Its not an offence for a police officer to not give his/her number. It never has been. The inspector in this case has identified the station he is from. It is unlikely that there are more than 2 uniform inspectors on duty at that station at any time.

Also identification numbers which constables where on their shoulders are not issued to inspectors, so what number would he be able to give. He has identified himself as the inspector of Bishops Gate Police Station - enough to identify himself

  • The government is going to surveile YOU , the slaves, But you are not supposed to point a camera any where near them! The bank of England is going to keep printing the debt and you will all work to pay it back , for ever and ever !

  • yes but with fucking idiots out on the streets like these, you can see my point. we will allways win and you will always be outnumbered so fuck you

  • fucking wanker, im an officer an you lucky i was not on duty as i would have punched this waker right in the nose

  • well thats exactly the problem isnt it u fool....the whole point is that police are above the law now and its a police state effectively

  • group24kb

if you're actually a police officer give us your number please

because if thats your way of dealing with peaceful protesters i would very much like to get you off the streets ASAP

  • you are all unwashed, immature excuses for human beings and I am frankly ashamed that I am the same race as you....If you mother, father, grandmother was assaulted by whoever these officers would do their utmost to make sure that the assailant was duly dealt with...if your home..( or cave in your cases ) was burgled...who would you run to?....you all make me want to vommit...I am so glad my children have grown up well rounded individuals...I pity your poor parents.

  • so because i dont think its ok to beat peaceful protesters no matter what group theyre from

that makes me an unwashed immature excuse for a human being?

    interesting..

  • You speak as if you are better than these people, yet you insult their parents?

Your comment there shows little more than generalising ignorance and your opinion show little more than your inability to think for yourself.

  • Don't you have better things to do then go round collecting police officer numbers? - He's policing the protest that day and the day before probably had to tell someone he's never met before that their relative was killed in a car accident.

  • Bishopsgate police station

  • Wasnt a law past which makes it illegal to film a police officer (anit-terroism act)

  • no ..

  • Some officers try to claim that, but guidance has been issued saying that it's not an offence to film a police officer or constable in the course of their duty.

  • What an exciting day out at the protest you had. It must have been a brilliant distraction from your ineffectual middle class life.

    I envy your naivety

  • you made yourself look like a right mug inspectors dont wear collar numbers they just have their pips. all the officers there must think your a right twat thinking that inspector is breaking the law. twat

  • Comment removed

  • You are a right twat... "Do you know your breaking the law by not giving you number,,, its twats like this which need a bit of a push

  • Your a pig i take it???????

  • your a wanker i take it lmao

  • and your a cunt i take it! lol

  • hes an INSPCTOR ass holes thay dont have NUMBERS after thay pass that RANK

  • fucking cunts you & every one should smash there fucking teeth in

  • Turns out that his name was BishopsGate Police Station.

  • loool that made me lol

  • Crikey!!! what a cock...its no wonder when the cops get a chance they beat the shit out of you skinny whinging poms.....

  • Crikey, fair dinkum there mate, put another shrimp on the barby........Fuckin Aussies!

  • I beg everybody here criticising the police to stop it now if you value your lives. You could end up dead like Ian Tomlinson and the others. I'm only able to tell you myself because the metropolitan police have already informed me that I'm to be executed and have tried on two occasions to carry it out. its only a mater of time for me, I've got nothing to lose. Please stop it now, you don't know what these people are capabale of.

  • Can you smell bacon?

  • The person holding the camera deserves to be shot by the police.

  • Fucking hell, what a whiney cunt.

You're lucky you didn't get your fucking face caved in to be honest.

  • These thuggish pricks need bringing down to earth, with a thud, preferably.

  • LOL at the "golly-gosh" posh cunt crying about getting the guy's number.

I hope you get your head cracked at the next protest, you smelly, hippy fucknut

  • What a fucking prick. How many times does he have to be told to go to Bishops Gate police station. He s just made himself lool like a right cunt.

  • For crying out loud grow up

  • These were not actually policemen. They were a group of art students trying to re-enact a Monty Python sketch for their degree and just wanted the bloke with the camera to bugger off.

I heard they submitted footage of this incident and all passed with flying colours! Ironic innit.

  • LMAO AT THE HELMET/HAT LOL

  • I know that voice! :o)

  • why dont you just go to bishopgate police station and ask for his id you fool why ask a police officer when he just replied back "bishopgate policestation"

  • If the police officer was behaving legally by refusing to identify himself, then that law allowing him to behave legally in such a situation should be abolished.

  • If you feel so strongly about this Zensho, maybe you should write to your MP. Alternatively, why don't you apply to become a police officer and see if you can change what you consider to be failings within the service from within? I doubt you'd last a minute if you were to join if you believe that being a police officer is such an easy ride that you can spend all day in public order situations supplying endless details to people....

  • waltonlad19,

I have written to my MP and also the IPCC. In a way, on another froum, I have answered your second question about joining the police and can explain again if you want. As for now, I am far too old and my career took me in another direction.

I have never said that the police have an easy ride. Please indicate where I have said this.

  • So your knowledge of the law is only through " your friend the barrister", who clearly knows fuck all about the law. I take it " your friend the barrister" doesn`t get much work. Get some real world experience young man. You continue to make a dick of yourself with each posting.

  • obesevegan..." I consult my friend who is a barrister"....whoopy fucking doo....have you got any friends with decent jobs though?

  • I was responding to someone who asked about my knowledge of the law. What would you class as a decent job? The job title of "Poster of idiotic comments on youTube" probably doesn't pay that well so I suppose you are struggling through this recession more than others. I suppose you might be satisfied if I said my one friend is an unemployed tree hugger, my other friend is a communist who doesn't wash etc. This daily mail rhetoric from police / police sympathisers is truly pathetic.

  • Magistrates reading this,

You, yes, YOU are guilty of this murder because of your assinine tacit approval of such thugish behaviour by your cowardly finding on Saturday mornings of 'you assaulted this police officer / breached the peace' based upon the lies of ignorant police thugs and the pompous statements by 'educated' (that's a joke) barristers / police legal representatives.

  • Comment removed

  • mikesullivan445,

'That officer is clearly an inspector and as such doesn't have a collar number'. Well, that explains it then. He is an inspector, can do what he likes and is prviliged to never be identified. He might just as well s..t on you, mikesullivan445, and he has the right to never answer for his actions. Why? Because he is a police inspector.

  • My dad paid taxes which paid for my comprehensive school eduction. Since when did they teach police identification skills in schools?

  • Obesevegan, do you mind me asking if you work out of interest? I'm just trying to work out your background with regards to your knowledge of legislation and policing policies. What is your job?

  • I am a web developer by trade, I take an interest in my rights as a citizen of the UK. I consult my friend who is a barrister regularly and checked with Kieran Clarke Green solicitors the law regarding s60 searches on April 1st.

  • As said Obesevegan, I cannot find any trace of such a requirement to provide details for Sec 60. Could you consult with your barrister friend to ask them to quote the specific subsection of this piece of legislation?

  • its not a s.60 requirement its a PACE code A requirement:

steps to be taken prior to a search

3.8 before any search of a detained person or attended vehicle takes place the officer must take reasonable steps to give the person to be searched or in charge of the vehicle the following information:

    a) That they are being detained for the purposes of a search

  • b) the officers name (except in the case of enquiries linked to the investigation of terrorism, or otherwise where the officer reasonable believes that giving his or her name might put him or her in danger in which case a warrent or other identification number shall be given) and the name of the police station to which the officer is attatched;

    c) the legal search power which is being excercised; and

    d) a clear explanation of:

  • i) the purpose of the search in terms of the article or articles for which there is a power to search; and

ii) in the case of powers requireing reasonable suspicion (see paragraph 2.1 a)), the grounds for that suspicion; or

iii) in the case of powers which do not require reasonable suspicion (see paragraph 2.1 b) and c)), the nature of the power and of any necissary autherisatin and the fact that it has been given.

  • unfortunatly the reply was to long for one box but appears to have posted in reverse order

  • obesevegan, the idiotic comments you refer to are as a direct result of this pathetic video you`ve uploaded. Most comments seem to be pointing out what a total drip of a mummys boy you obviously are. Fuck knows why you wasted time and energy uploading this, clearly you`ve got a very sad unoccupied life. As I said earlier, do something useful like go and hang yourself. That copper has achieved more in life than you ever will you sorry little worm.

  • You need to request the police make an investigation on it then!! The police has to obey law too!

This is also for the former London City special Constable. And i don't really understand his comment about getting a life when public swearing and illegal search are put against eachother?!? Aren't they a bit in different categories?!?!!!!

This is not a comment against police or pro protester. I appreciate the police but they also have to obey the law.

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • cziltangbrone is that how grown-up you are? I would expect a police man to be able to express himself and discuss about a matter a bit better way than that.

I understand public swearing might be an offence but there are limits (by law) for the police operations too and unfortunately for reason.

I wish you all the best.

  • As has been discussed to death on this thread though Joppojoo, the police officer has not committed any offence / broken any laws or disobeyed any laws. The search was not unlawful!!!!

  • Ok. Thanks for that piece information. I didn't read through all the pages so thanks for reply.

In that case the police did right thing and the person inspected had no reason to moan. And i believe they searched him for reason.

  • section 60 searches should not be used for the purposes of identifying an individual, it is specifically for searching for offensive weapons and articles.

  • As a former City of London Special Constable I'll put this crap to bed once and for all.

    1. An officer of Inspector rank or above NEVER displays force number. The two pips identify the officer as an Inspector and make identification possible..

    2. In a public order situation an officer does not have to give his number if he fears for his own safety (such as when a little shit has a camera in his face).

    3. Obsevegan could have been nicked for s.5 Public Order for swearing.

    Get a life.

  • He should still give his number it is police policy, just because you are a cop does not make you an authority on policy. You want to know what is more of an offence? beating people indiscriminately and false imprisonment ring any bells?

  • owned

  • You think being a Special Contsable makes you an authority on the law?! They aren't even real policemen... :P

  • This guy sure seems terrified of the police. I wonder what he's hiding.

  • One thing I'm not hiding is a stack of idiotic comments on this YouTube video.

  • The officer hasnt got a number as he is an inspector you idiots - you really are thick - why dont you all get back to work - oh sorry i forgot you havent got jobs you just sponge of the state

  • And with unemployment rates rising thanks to that very state there are going to be a lot more of us

  • Blimey. What a waste of space the uploader of this video is. Not a surprise the officer hasn't got the time of day for you. One day you might need these guys to help you out. You'll get a lot further in life by getting along with people whoever they are, rather than just setting out to be an annoying little herbert that thinks he knows the law. Go and protest against the real enemies of the people that are damaging the nation, the likes of Wacqui Jacqui.

  • BORING BORING BORING!!!!! It is not the law. Therefore no law has been broken. The twat in the video sounds like a right annoying WET fart. He prob went home and cried! :-(

  • well done your video has made it onto the guardian newspaper website.

  • It is not a `law` you imbeciles.

  • I love it how he refuses to rise against a gobby shit like you.

You really should get a life, that or just help the gene pool cleansing and swiftly end your miserable existence.

    Good day :)

  • Thanks.

  • obesevegan you total fucking tool. First its not an offence not to wear numbers, he`s an inspector you piece of worthless flesh. You`re lucky you didn`t get nicked ( or smacked in the gob) get a life and do something useful....like hang yourself.

  • Thank you for the constructive criticism.

    Chris x

  • If you visit the sun newspaper website I think the same officer is filmed refusing to give his number to another person

  • These people are supposed to be Servants of the public!!! Who are they serving here. Nobody! Thats why rules exist to govern the police.

  • The officer gave enough information to be identified if this guy had actually gone to Bishopsgate police station they would indeed have told them exactly who he was.

I'd also like to point out that you could have been arrested for swearing, under Section 5 of the Public Order Act (which I would have done to you), so the officer was showing great resraint and dignity by remaing calm.

  • Really, I would have arrested most of the laughing violent psychopaths in blue at the g20 as a citizen. Are you comparing my use of the word shit with the actions of the police? Police? Great restraint? Tell that to Ian Tomlinsons family.

  • I don't know if you've noticed but COLP wear red and more seriously "laughing, violent psychos"? Get a life mate.

I am not comparing your petulant outburst with anyone's actions. That officer could have arrested you, but chose not to. I was on duty on July 7th and July 21st 2005 in COLP and for 2 weeks after, for some strange reason, nearly everyone loved cops.

Police state? I have friends in Moldova currently terrified out of their minds.

Would you have tried this over there?

  • Once again I'll ask you if you complained. If not then you're a fool and you should stop moaning

  • Yes the IPCC have been sent the video.

  • well done

  • Comment removed

  • Fucking hell! I've just realised who he is. It's Robert mugabe!

  • are you sure? I've heard Idi Amin served at bishopsgate police station as well for a time.

  • That roving reporter is lucky not to have been beaten to a pulp. They've killed people for less!

  • Political freedom is the absence of interference with the sovereignty of an individual by the use of coercion or aggression.

The members of a free society would have full dominion over their public and private lives.

The opposite of a free society would be a totalitarian state, which highly restricts political freedom in order to regulate almost every aspect of behavior.

  • Civil and political rights include:

Ensuring peoples' physical integrity and safety

Individual political freedom, including rights of individuals (freedom of thought and conscience, freedom of speech and expression, freedom of religion, freedom of the press, freedom of movement) and the right to participate in civil society and politics (freedom of association, right to assemble, right to petition, right to vote)

  • You bunch of hippies need to go get jobs. You all cause trouble then claim 'brutality' because the police don't take any of your shit.... yet you're more than happy to live off society and cash in your welfare cheques every week.

Every serving police officer has swarn their allegance to Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth. That to the majority of people who have more than 1 bath a year... is the side we stand with.

  • Fuck you. I work 60 hours a week running and painting and decorating business, and I still expect the police to behave themselves. And talking of people who do fuck all for their money - the queen can go fuck herself too, frankly.

  • Check out Proud of my country's profile for some laughs... Kick out the immigrants :D Hilarious! Nazi scummer.

  • Have you reported what happened in this video to the Police Complaints Authority?

  • Just put aside the legality or otherwise of a police officer giving out their details, whatever their rank, and think it through for a moment. Shouldn't the police there to serve the public, be accountable to them and uphold the law? Or should they be a shady, arrogant, 'superior' unaccountable troops? We are constantly told under cover 'anti-terror' legislation that if we have nothing to hide we have nothing to fear. So what is this unnamed policeman hiding by not identifying himself?

  • Its not against the law to not display shoulder numbers

  • It is against Police guidlines to refuse to identify yourself though

  • but not against the law

  • No it's not against the law. If a complaint is made though he will have to justify why he refused to identify himself and could face disciplinary action under police guidelines.

This man is an inspector I believe who tend not to wear numbers anyway.

If he was involved in the stop and search he MUST identify himself but it's not clear from the video if this is the case or not

Either way it's totally unacceptable for an officer not to identify themselves by whether by name or number

  • He MUST identify himself???? Where does it say that he MUST??? As already highlighted in this, there is now law saying that he MUST identify himself other than recommendations from a public inquiry a few years ago, however this does not set any recommendations in stone nor does it make it a legal requirement for police to identify themselves!!!

  • Just to reiterate what previous poster have said in that you should report this. It happens far to often with Police hiding their identity

  • Lets sum this up.

    You're a bit of a tool really.

    The officer realised that.

If you were not such a tool, you would probably have noticed his epaulettes, displaying the rank of inspector.

I'm not really surprised he didn't give you the time of day. Haha...

  • Can you explain it to me - do Inspector's not have warrant numbers? And are they not covered by the Met's own guidleines that an officer conducting a serach must identify themselves with AT LEAST their warrant number?

Whether they have to wear them on their shoulders is a different matter.

  • What's the Mets rules gotta do with the City of London police? That's like saying Asda should give you a refund because Tesco's policy says you should!

  • a warrant number isn't a shoulder number

  • Have you complained to the Police Complaints authority with the video?

  • What the hell was the policeman thinking? He's breaking the law by refusing to identify himself and he can see the guy has a video camera and cast iron evidence he's breaking the law. How does he think he's goign to get away with it.

  • What law would that be that the police officer is breaking by refusing to identify himself????
