Am I the only one who thought this was a bit,idk,adult like for a Disney movie?It showed a cat dying,talked about virgins(sex related thing),involved the death of a little kid,and showed (kinda)people getting hanged.Pretty rough stuff Disney.
THE POOL scene would have taken place before the oven scene. The witches go to the school and go into the boys locker room and then the pool room. Mary and Sarah get into a fight knock Winnie in the pool. Her sisters then say SHE DID IT!
Lastly; a short scene with a fight between Max and his Dad; a scene that would later get cut right after filming!
Handing Out Candy scene took place either before or after the master (Gary Marshall) scene. When they find the street full of kids and learn about why kids go door to door they steal candy to get the kids until Winnie learns what candy is. Mary finds out later!
Winnie One The phone scene was when she went into the master kitchen thinking it was a torture chamber and the phone rings. When she picks up it's the wife's mother nagging. Sadly it was cut, before filming it was completed!

I had an idea for a sequel called Hocus Pocus 2: Winnie's Revenge where a Halloween loving teenage girl is mad at her single dad because he's going to tear the Sanderson house so her and her more responsible twin brother go in on Halloween and she dares him to light the black flammed candle and the witches come back and plan to resurrect all the demons from the underworld so they have to stop them with the aid of Binx's ghost and Billy the zombie

I think I posted this before but I just don't understand why Disney doesn't put out a special edition dvd with the deleted scenes and making of stuff on it. There is a large enough fan base for this film to make it worth the effort. Come on Disney give us a Hocus Pocus special edition dvd!

I love this movie! I just think it would have been 10000000 times better if Disney would have had nothing to do with it. I mean most of the people that like this movie are older and not necessarily 'little' kids anymore, and if they were trying to appeal to an older audience, they could have put more scary scenes in it and more witchcraft, rather then trying to not offend any christian parents. mary is the funniest. when all the witches went into the master house lol mary turned on the tv, then a baby showed up rolling around on a cart. mary screamed ahaahahahah lol. also when she uses the vaccume as a broom lol.
that made the movie sound nothing like it is. it's waaayyy better than that. it's too late to make a new one really. it wouldn't be the same with different characters.

I love this movie! I just think it would have been 10000000 times better if Disney would have had nothing to do with it. I mean most of the people that like this movie are older and not necessarily 'little' kids anymore, and if they were trying to appeal to an older audience, they could have put more scary scenes in it and more witchcraft, rather then trying to not offend any christian parents. This trailer sorta makes the movie look stupid. Regardless, its the best Halloween movie EVER!

look heum...it's normal that movie is for children again because it's too old.but i agree your proposition,i want that bein more scary whit heum...example,they can have blood or the witches can kill the children by an other maner,like eating their blood or just killing whit some scary magic potions or heum...transform children into skeletons.look,i'm 14 now,when hocus pocus was in teater i was 1 or 12 months!

I actually saw this in the theatre. I was eleven when it came out, it came out in the summer, several months before Halloween.

I love this movie. I wish they would put out a special edition of this film with all the deleted scenes and making of stuff. I remember seeing a few short clips on how they made this back in 93/94. I wanna see the deleted scenes, they look funny.
