Great cover (and really good qualty for just one michrophone) but I agree with everyone else, put some oomph into the voice, doesn't really matter about the picks though its just what ever is comfortable for you. Blues/Soul singing needs a good voice, which you have its just your missing the soul (which youll admit is kinda imoprtant) so just oomph it dont shout, just try to not care what your voice sounds like and have fun and youll sound a lot more like a soul singer. just dig the song man.
