  • What the fuck did those Samurai do to those swords to have them that strong?!

  • @Cattleclysmic the thing is the celts had been doing the exact same type of smithing for centuries before japan did, im not talking bad about katana im just saying your thinking zweihanders and claymores, those are not longswords they ARE heavier but a longsword weighs about the same as a katana and is longer than a katana and just as fast

  • @Cattleclysmic a zweihander is an anti horse weapon a longsword is completely different

  • @Cattleclysmic take a look a longsword is usually pretty thin but katana with their wedge shape are actually quite thick

  • @volarion Indeed! A Zweihander and Claymore is thicker than katana! Seriously buddy, get lost.

  • @Cattleclysmic I don't know about the Bidenhänder or Claymore, but a longsword can be very thin: Look at those good reproductions, it's dificult to see but you can still feel how light they are due to the thin blade: /watch?v=xIyabBglQfA

The flexibility which a Katana can't have with its thick blade: /watch?v=2vWx0_B8yF8&feature=relmfu

This guy confirms the thickness of the Nihonto: /watch?v=XLWzH_1eZsc

  • @Railriderchris Longsword can be thin, Katana can be thinner, not every swordsmith makes in same specifications.

  • @Cattleclysmic No, to have thin blades you need good steel which the japanese hadn't, and you have to make it flex so it wouldn't snap due to its thin shape. That's why europeans used slack quenching or tempering, the japanese rarely did. And with the technique of using different steels for the core and the sides, a sword automatically needs to be made with some thickness. Besides, why are you so eager to believe the Katanas were thin?

  • @Railriderchris It's not bad steel. They used steel powder found on beach.

  • @Cattleclysmic Not the steel is bad but the way they refined it. Look up bloomery furnaces, the Steel coming out of those was very impure and had nothing to do with modern steel. The european invented better furnaces which could produce steel that didn't needed to be refined by folding like the japanese one. Sorry my friend, have to go to bed. Look up the videos i gave you and let's talk later again ;-)

  • @Railriderchris Japanese Swordsmithing is complex, not everyone can do same quality. Check out Masamune.

Also I've used Zweihander, It's like glass cannon, damage can't be unmatched but you're so fucked if they caught you offguard. Certainly it feels like unguarded siege weapon.

  • @Cattleclysmic Volarion is right; While japanese swordsmithing is indeed very intriguing and has to be admired, people mostly ignore that before the middleages Europe had EXACTLY the same problem of having only badly refined steel available. Thus, no surprise they used similar smithing techniques to make good swords like the japanese did. /watch?v=LSx9bgtxXGU#t=2m46

Why are you speaking of Zweihänder? This are rare swords, if swords they are, compared to other medieval blades like longswords...

  • @Railriderchris Well Zweihander and Claymore is european swords too and I have great deal of interest in them :P Just as I have interest in Katana

  • @Cattleclysmic Understand: The Katana is a piece of art, the knowledge of the japanese swordsmith is admirable, and in the end they manage to create a good blade from ironsand!!! But: complexity is not always a proof of better quality. In the case of swords, if you have good steel you can create better swords with less work. Handmade luxury watches are much more fascinating than a simple swatch. But do they indicate the time better? Not really ;-)

  • @Railriderchris Well, complexity is not always a proof but, in terms of Katana, complexity matters, Masamune's method is most advanced and layered type of Katana(I don't know how it is better than single material katanas really), yet it is proven many times it is highly superior to one material Katana types.

  • @Cattleclysmic Well, if you're talking of Nihontos only, then yes i agree. But as soon as you make comparisons with the swords of other cultures it is a different matter. The european invented the ancestor of our blast furnace, thus resulting in better steel. This makes the swordsmith's work look less sophisticated (no folding needed anymore) but in fact it is a dramatical improvement in quality. Have you seen the videos i gave you the link?

  • @Railriderchris Yes, there isn't room for complexity in longswords, only material(Proper Carbon/Iron ratio for perfect steel and balance) and proper smithing skills are needed. Complexity would actually weaken the longsword so I agree with you on that.

Also I watched your videos, I've seen them before though.

However I'd recommend you to watch this /watch?v=EDkoj932YFo

While it is a fact Longsword is much better in terms of armored fighting, this is very interesting video.

  • @Cattleclysmic Ehm, this is probably the video which is most hated by people who know a little about swords; ''Gunny'' Ermey has no clue about swordfighting and so does his ''expert''. The swords are cheap reproductions, and bashed against costume movie prop armour (unboiled leather shirt, thin breastplate) Can you explain me why he makes a strong diagonal cut with the sharpened Katana but a weak horizontal bash with the blunt longsword? Why is there already a ridge in the ice for the Katana?

  • @Railriderchris Gunny sure does not know a jack about sword fighting, but you can't say same for the expert, because he didn't do anything apart from telling stuff. But honestly, to me, Longsword cut red cabbage better, which further proves it isn't blunt at all.

Also what profit does he have for promoting one over another, I doubt it is biased.

  • @Cattleclysmic Haha, i can! This Bob has no clue about swordfighting! He tells the everlasting story of ''one cut one kill'' which isn't specific to the japanese and ''evading to cut from an angle'', technique which works well in movies. But as soon as you permit to the attacker to strike diagonally you're dead! I've done Kenod, Iaido and Kenjutsu and i assure you that this guy is only a stagefighter!

A guy here on Youtube has made it to cut red cabbage the same well with his blunt sword.

  • @Railriderchris One cut one kill is called Iai, and he certainly knows what he is talking about

  • @Cattleclysmic No. Iai is the way of drawing a sword. And tell me, which swordfighter doesn't want to kill in one go? That's what every warrior wants to do. The problem... The opponent wants to do the same... And he won't let you simpy evade and cut without doing anything! Furthermore it could be a feint to make you evade so you'll run into his actual strike! It's not that easy my friend, and this Bob only repeats what people think is specific to the Katana. A stagefighter. nothing more.

  • @Cattleclysmic There i found him! Google ''Robert Goodwin sword'' (honestly, did you understood his name corectly pronounced by Ermey??), he is a stunt fighter and actor trainer. It says that he's got martial arts experience, but i've not found any informations about WHAT martial arts. Judo? Karate? Boxing? This doesn't prove anything specifically to swords. Strange, isn't it? ;-P

So, are you convinced by now?

  • @Railriderchris Many Claymore and Longsword trainers worked as actor trainer & stunt actor for Game of Thrones, also he described Iaido perfectly, why wouldn't I believe it?

  • @Cattleclysmic He described Iaido perfectly? Hmm, i think my Sensei wouldn't like it!

Again, i don't know much about Claymores, but i NEVER saw actual longsword techniques in a movie. Maybe some tiny parts of it, but they always fight the japanese way which of course makes the longsword look heavy and slow!

Look, i think i'll stop this discussion. No offense but you don't have much knowledge, so go in a Kendo/Iai school and in a few time you'll see how ridiculous Goodwin is with the Katana ;-)

  • @Railriderchris "Robert G. Goodwin has over 40 years' martial arts experience, 25 years' experience in European weapons, and has trained or choreographed many of Hollywood's leading actors and actresses "

Obviously he knows more about European weapons.

  • @Cattleclysmic Yeah, that's what i read too. And if you think a little about it you'll agree that this means absolutely nothing! John Clements is a real expert of the sword, or Mike Loads! But NOT someone who is working to make fights look good.

Ok, i'll stop now. It was fun discussing with you but apparently you haven't understood how to distinguish good stuff from crap; By gaining personal practical experience on the field! Why don't you go in a Kenjutsu school and then we'll talk again? ;-)

  • @Cattleclysmic You want a different test? Watch this:

    /watch?v=5Hy_A9vjp_s

Attention: I'm not saying the test result should be taken as evidence for anything! However, this show has an real expert and fair (because similar) test conditions for both swords. Once again, i'm not saying the longsword is superior, no sword is ''best''. But people should understand that although the Katana is a piece of art it's physically impossible to be ''best'' in every domain...

  • @Railriderchris Also, see ya later

  • @Cattleclysmic katana are extremely thick and folding is inferior to most smithing techniques

  • @volarion Thick? What?

  • Somehow when the sword breaks, I feel like it like it has "died"

I'm not a super fan of Japanese sword, but I think I feel the swordsmith's pain when it happens.

  • @NYtassu Not really, I bet he was actually happy sword withstood and cut 1 .50 cal bullet in half.

But I agree on what you felt, scene made me remember of that battle samurai refused to use firearms and wiped out by cannons.

  • ...ya but a .50 machine gun can't sneak up on you when you are sleeping!...

  • Wait... They seriously think that the katana cut the bullets in half?

    Fake.

  • @Nix6p it did

Bullets are designed to travel a lot faster than what the metal can handle, at least standard ammunition anyways. What they would be using is a lead core, copper jacketed round. The only reason why they use copper is so it can expand and keep the lead in tact so it delivers a more damaging wound(and well doesn't spray lead everywhere). Forged stainless steel is very strong and if its a real one, its probably got around 3-4 plates of it. Read up, google, whatever and find the facts.

  • @Nix6p and what i mean by real is training swords only tend to have 2 or 3 plates

  • @Nix6p It can be explained in terms of physics, Katana is very thin, have multiple layers of metal, which is probably most complex type of sword in terms of swordsmithing.

They hold katana stable in one place firmly, and shoot it's sharpest side.

  • @Cattleclysmic Katanas are amongst the thickest blades to be found! Even when grinded down after centuries of polishing they remain thicker than most european swords! The multiple layers of metal are not making the sword better, in the contrary; There might be inclusions or welding errors making the blade weaker. If the blade has to be folded, then it's because of bad raw iron/steel which has to be purified.

  • @Railriderchris Thickest? Seriously?

  • @Cattleclysmic Yes, if you buy a genuine made Katana (modern made thus not grinded down to erase damage) they are around 6-9mm thick. An european sword can be just 2-4mm thick, thanks to a more flexible blade. Consider that the thickness makes the Katana quite heavy for it's length, but that it is an advantage; That's partly where its huge cutting power comes from; Mass and speed = cinetic energy = big damage if you're hit by it. And because short it remains a quick sword;-)

  • @Railriderchris Claymore, Zweihander and you talk about thickness? WoW.

Also, slash damage and blunt damage are different things. Medival European swords are used for blunt damage. For breaking things, not cutting.

  • @Cattleclysmic Not quite. Try to design a sword for blunt damage; You'll end up having a mace or a battle axe. While swords CAN be used in armoured fights, you can't do what they're designed for: cutting. That's why you use halfswording techniques to target the weak points.

    Here's a vid about sword sharpness: /watch?v=gi5tJDkpYzI

    Blunt damage: /watch?v=o5HtV4AtpCI

  • @Railriderchris You cannot exactly use Claymore for sheer cutting damage.

  • @Cattleclysmic Hmm, i don't know, i've trained with Katanas and european swords, especially the longsword, but i've never tried out the bigger blades. They say the Bidenhänder was used against cavalry and pikes... But anyway, those are more renaissance blades and weren't used for long. So not very representative. My point was: european swords weren't used for blunt damage!

  • @Cattleclysmic you can but as has been atated claymore are not longswords

  • wuuuuuuwwwwwwwwwwww

  • Get some!

  • ITS FLYING :D

  • I must say I'm impressed that it was able to survive several glancing blows, from projectiles packing 13,000 foot-pounds of energy.

  • @CaptainOblivious243 well, I will agree at some points. But the sword by its natural position, is placed like that, not by its flat side so it should be stronger.

  • Its not a real tamahagane katana, but anyway it shows how freaking awesome and strong they actually are, the thing broke at the seventh shot and cut the other six bullets >.<

  • its a fucking machine gun what do you expect lol

  • This saddens me :(

  • The sword is still useful. Just do what Isildur did in Lord of the Rings; use the broken end and cut off the fingers of your opponents.

  • Van Helsing Soundtrack FTW

  • When they tried with 50 cal handgun(revolver) they just shot once but this time full round of ammo was shot!

I should not say against but if you want to make a fair comparison, they should do the same thing as the first test!

However the katana was broken at the first shot.

  • Men who live by the sword get shot by those who don't.

  • Is the guy crying?

  • Pretty awesome xD now they just need to find Sephiroth an put the 50cal up against him -_-; :3

  • O.o WTF Masamune?

  • Now they know what killed their soldiers.

  • Music makes it so dramatic.

  • @Wassamattawityou its not that bad if they had turned it around or sideways it would have been faster :p have you seen the butter knife yet???

  • It takes like 6 months or more to hand craft one of theses swords, most of them cost more than $1500. And they destroyed one in a matter of seconds....

  • @Wassamattawityou It takes about 2 weeks to forge and up to 8 weeks to finish. Can be done faster though. They do not sell on a commercial level, there is no actual price tag, but $1500 far, far too low, add another 0 to that if you even want to start. Antiques sell in excess of $50'000 a piece. Given that all katanakaji make them only on demand, you are looking at 10k minimum to even be considered a potential buyer. Getting them out of Japan is extremely difficult though.

  • Bloody koreans, bet there interested. Maybe theyre envious of others role in asia...

  • One more reason to say that I LOVE japanese culture! Arigato

  • well what the fuck did you expect?

  • Dood.....its an f'ing 50 cal machine gun. Everyone knows who wins already. But still the katana wins in my eyes.

  • not a real katana :)

katana cut all that balls if its real !

  • @Senshyn6 I agree there is no wave in the blade where the blend of different heat meets to give it a sharper edge in this sword.

  • many manly tears were shed over that katana

  • @waepaenow well not every katana is a masterpiece maybe they just wanted to kill it :p

  • @volarion but still you know

  • this is just horrible......who would do anything to a crafted masterpiece.....

  • ohhh come on why using 100round for ???? why not using 1round and put in slowmotion like they did with the 1911 9mm

  • @yun514

I'm completely agreed with you on that.

  • I can hear the soundtrack from Van Helsing... and this video reminds me of this vid

    /watch?v=aPnbkvL1IQA

  • I can't believe they fired a .50 cal at a katana... What did they think would happen?! They should never have destroyed such a work of art and craftsmenship. It would be comparable to cutting through an American flintlock with a katana but worse since a katana takes time and effort to make.

  • I'm glad that there were Korean subtitles on this video. Although I primarily speak English, I do know some Korean. The subtitles make the video a little more clear even though the video is pretty straight forward.

  • overkill

  • @RezViper

    Indeed

  • There goes your fuckin' Jap sword.

Ma Deuce tearin' up the place.

  • "Samurai 7" :O

  • it looks more like they are replaying the first shot over and over again...

  • @Kroatowa ok heres the thing no sword cuts through armor, you go for the gaps everu style stresses that. samurai armor was made of laminated scales often made of steel. deadliest warrior is so full of crap its useless to watch without dropping your IQ.

  • @volarion yea I understand that no sword was designed to cut through armor YET their has been occasions where they tested some forms of blades and armor and it cut through it you don't have to intentionally design something fr it to work in your favor

  • more like brain vs. brawn

  • lets hope it was a shinwa

  • a true warrior spirit till the end

  • a true warrior spirit till the end

  • may the true warrior spirit /soul within the katana find peace

  • it took 7 brut hits and all 7 bullets got sliced and the sword lost a part of the sharp edge with each hit. 7 hits from anti armor bullets is impressive. any other normal bullets lead wont do anything major. may be after alot of shots

  • @MultiFirespark true but thats the point all the honorable warrior stuff may be true in small numbers but in all oit war anything goes

  • a 12 year old could easily defeat a master with that.

  • ild rither a sword from sparta TONIGHT WE DINE IN HELL!!!!!

  • @starwalker97 its not as strong as the katana though and its heavier which weighs you down but i will say its more stylish

  • @Kroatowa i no katanas are strong sharp and could chop arm off with ease but some people have been watchn two many animies and then they think it can cut a tank in half

  • @starwalker97 actually i don't watch anime i lose interest in the first 3 episodes but i love katanas i was just telling you the differences between the weps

  • @Kroatowa i love all blades katanas in top 10 my fav is maybe spartan sword or maybe claymor

  • @starwalker97 claymore is an awesome sword i will admit but heavy(lol yes i have something against heavy blades)my fave would have to be........the tulwar sword because it offers great speed and swiftness and you only have to use one hand and can still manage to take off a arm with one swing

  • @Kroatowa a tulwar is like a katana saber cutlass thing on myth busters they got rapier and katana and swung them ageinst each other rapier won i would of think the rapier would of got split with ease

  • @starwalker97 yea its an mongolian weapon from origin and that katana must have not been well built or just old because that hard to believe the rapier is so weak it bends when you swing it thats so weird...

  • @Kroatowa no it was real katana not one of thos crappy mall katanas that cant even slice through a bottel when sharpend cant beleave it was a legit katana u shouldwatch the episode

  • @starwalker97 well in the katanas defense even if the rapier was stronger the katanas style is way better than the rapier style so though the rapier may have beat it in durability it does not beat it in technique but thx i will go watch the ep

  • @Kroatowa i like katanas better anyway but katana isnt ment to block or hit other blades its ment to slice through flesh the samurai would only block with a katana if he really had to

  • @starwalker97 well most of the shogun's blades were made to be able to cut through flesh and samurai soldiers blades to make it easier for the shogun's so yea but thats a shogun's blade But you do have a point it was mainly meant for easy decapitation and to cut through armor but i never understood what made the shogun's better than a normal samurai other than their armor looks more stylish

  • @Kroatowa WHAT. I'm pretty sure no sword was ever made to go through another sword. Also, the shogun was basically the military leader of Japan, the emperor was just a figurehead, so the Shogun would hardly ever be fighting (if at all). The katana wasn't designed to take on armor either. Against armor, one would stab through the armor, or attempt to slash at weaker parts of the armor, not attempt to cut right through the plating. Do you have any sources?

  • @Dosufan755 well my source would be deadliest warrior for the shogun thing but I made an assumption that since samurais were heavily armored they would design a blade to cut through the armor and when I say made to cut through their blades I never meant intentionally but I meant they were made strong to be able to break or "cut" through a weaker sword and yes the shogun would fight sometimes and my source would be books about samurais and sometimes google...

  • @Dosufan755 because you know not every katana is the same some are stronger and some are weaker than others

  • @Kroatowa Yeah...but swords were not made to cut through other swords. The shogun would fight sometimes, but it's my understanding that it would be quite rare for him to do so, fighting was the job of the samurai and daimyos. And the bamboo armor was quite tough, too much for a katana. I believe the katanas were made for slicing at weak areas of the armor, such as the neck and joints. Otherwise, the samurai would attempt to stab through the torso plate.

  • @Dosufan755 well I might be wrong but were their bamboo armor made out of just bamboo or mixed with something else because I remember watching a samurai program where the katana sliced clean through 4 thick bamboo branches with ease their for it must not be a problem for a katana the armor must have been plated with steel or something

  • @Kroatowa It was probably mixed with other shit, and heres the thing, it was made from hardened/dry bamboo which is hard as hell to cut with a katana because when bamboo is dry, it won't cut, but will splinter and/or damage the blade. Also, it probably wasn't plated with steel since quality steel wasn't available in Japan back then. Hence the method of folding steel when forging a katana (to get rid of impurities in the shit steel they had back then).

  • @Dosufan755 I know I didn't know they what they used so I just assumed that it was steel because back then that was considered a strong substance to use but I don't understand I KNOW BAMBOO IS SHIT strong but scientifically thought out I can't fathom even if dried out it how can it damage a blade that has been folded over 9-10 times(which makes it stronger) to me calculating the velocity and strength of the blade and wielder should cut right through it

  • @Dosufan755 I know it probably wasn't steel I just quoted it because that was considered a very strong substance back then also how can it break or damage a blade scientifically that doesn't make sense calculating the strength of the blade and velocity and power of the swing it should go through it no matter how dry it is also sorry I have a tendency to say "cut" when I mean stab or pierce but this time I DO MEAN CUT

  • @Kroatowa sorry my computer is an asshole so it made me think I didn't post a response they are the same thing but can you explain the bamboo thing plz I don't understand

  • @Kroatowa Bamboo is not that strong. FRESH bamboo (green) can be cut with a good katana that has decent niku. Also, folding doesn't strengthen a katana. It was only used back in ancient Japan to get rid of the impurities in the steel because Japan had shit steel back then (hence the development of the folding method). When bamboo is dry, it hardens, and becomes harder to cut due to the lack of water content in it.

  • @Kroatowa Also, the bamboo armor the samurais had was quite thick; made of multiple layers of bamboo woven together in a cross-hatch pattern for extra strength. A katana probably could do some damage to bamboo armor, but the hardness of dry bamboo would do some edge damage to a sword. A differentially hardened katana is forged so that the back of the blade is softer and more flexible while the edge is hard and sharp. Therefore, the edge is more brittle, so it's more prone to chipping.

  • @Kroatowa check your inbox, I sent you a PM about bamboo

  • @starwalker97 Not necessarily. The rapier was DESIGNED to be flexible, as its role was for stabbing (most rapiers had completely blunt edges). Thus, a rapier is quite bendy, yet still tough. I don't know why anyone would be SWINGING a rapier. Pretty bad test IMO. And you can't say one sword is better than the other when they have completely different styles of use and completely different roles.

  • @Dosufan755 i like katanas alot better then rapier and katanas ment to cut through flesh not other swords and it was myth busters

  • @starwalker97 Yeah, katana was not designed to cut through other swords, ESPECIALLY with the traditional differential hardening, which makes it even less strong against abuse.

  • what's with people getting butthurt about their favorite anime weapon getting destroyed? If anything it shows how strong the original still is even compared to modern day weaponry.

  • 韓国字幕うぜえー

  • long live samurai

  • @SuzakuValentine92 and yet if anceint samurai had a chance they would have used guns too, they used every weapon to give them an edge all warrior classes did people are just so over romanticized to see it.

  • @kattowitz4 That's a common misconception... A diamond Katana would shatter the moment the bullet touched it... Diamond may be the densest material in the world, but if you try things like that... The diamond would become brittle. As for what several other people said, Guns ARE dis-honarable weapons... Cowards are hiding behind the triggers. It takes true strength and courage to go face to face with your enemies. In my opinion, snipers are the biggest cowards.

  • Well no shit that was going to happen. No contest.

  • wasnt a fucking obvious that a 50 caliber was gonna shatter that. that gun is used for anti-armor personnel!

  • FUCK US aMERICAN 4 trying to destory the japanese most strongest sword

  • 50cal vs Metal

  • @dicksonteoh warfare advances there's nothing cowardly about facing off with firearms where all it takes is one hit

  • victory in defeat !

  • the machine gun is completely a rubbish piece of spiritless weapon, fight from distant, used by cowards hiding behind the triggers, fearing to face the enemy face to face. How could they play a joke on the katana. It was once representing the live and dignity of a Japanese warrior. Pay respect to the dignity of the sacrificed katana, SALUTE!!!

  • no spirit in modern weapons...no honnor..nothing..piece of shit

  • @LTSamogitianLT

    totally agree.

  • @LTSamogitianLT Lots of fun though

  • @LTSamogitianLT man i agree with you no honour and with a gun even child can kill a master of old weapons(sword, bludgeon, etc).Talk about a 0 skill weopen.

  • @LTSamogitianLT

STFU weaboo. Superior tactics > Shitty honor. While you're at it, you should consider people suicide bombing honorable.

  • @LTSamogitianLT

Ideally, war sucks and you want to end it as fast as possible.

Otherwise, you end up like the US Army's 9 year failure in Afghanistan.

  • @LTSamogitianLT You know whats interesting about guns, that every people that they have ever been introduced to have extensively used them from Sioux to Samurai

  • theres a responsibility to being priveleged to use that gun, this is abusing it. . .

  • It handled about 5 bullets...then they kept shooting. -.-

  • They should have used a Hattori Hanzō sword.

  • Uh. Normally I'm at war with Katana fanboys but uh... I think I'll side with the Katana on this one. This is stupid, any hard object with an edge can split a bullet, including BONE. That said this many high velocity impacts would shatter ANY knife or sword and might even crack a good thick AXE head. :P

  • Geez guys it's just showing how strong the sword is it's not proving u should use it in a gun fight. Guns wins above all but less fun haha

  • he was a brave katana :(

  • barrett .50 vs katana would be a more suitable test.

  • this is crap...

  • Anyone else hear the Van Helsing OST in the background?

  • Never bring a sword to a .50 cal machine gun fight...

  • Not quite sure what this video is supposed to be proving. You would have the same result with most single edged blades. The bullet hits the thin edge then takes the path of least resistance down either side of the wedge.it withstands the hit because of the folded steel it uses to give it such strength.A technique the cults used for crafting weapons around 2 millennia before the japanese albeit with iron not steel, remember that next time you start to see the katana as a thing to be revered.

  • UUuuuuoooooooooooooooo!!!! zanpakutō !!! Jo tinc una dels chinos!! La portare a "l'afiladoooor!!! fliisssfiiuuuuuuu!!! Mireu anime en català !!! Hehehe!!!

  • Uhhh all you "omg u can cut bulletzzzz" guys did you not see the destruction occurring on the wall behind the sword? It's turned a .50 cal mg into a .50 cal scattergun, of you were holding the sword as it "cut" the bullets you'd be shredded

  • @LibCon00 Truth. Either you're not in the bullet's path and trying to cut bullets is absolutely pointless or you're still standing in the way and you just increased the bullet's effectiveness by multiplying its impact force. Can't say it's terribly impressive as plenty of non-weaponized pieces of steel can do the same thing and anyone who did that in combat would just be an idiot.

  • such a great sword and the gunner have a good aiming to..

  • 7 .50 bullets in the same place, and then it broke. imagine what that sword could do to your body nice to slice somebody up good and clean

  • if they do it again i am gonna kill them with that goddman katana

  • Real shame for such a beautiful piece of craftsmanship meet its end. But wow, what a way to go!

  • I had tears im ny eyes after watching this video... srlsy!
