If the cars are undergoing upgrades, than why hasn't anyone seen new footage of the Landwind or BS6? Even the "improved" BS6 earned a 3-star rating, which is unacceptable in my eyes.
Chinese cars also copy currently and previous best selling cars like the Toyota RAV4, Daewoo Maitz, BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz C-Klasse, Nissan Note and so many others.

Look. Japanese cars got better, we hear that alot when talking about the new Chinese auto makers. Have you seen the crash test videos on these cars, watch them......... if you still think these cars are worth risking lives with then go on and buy one yourself; personally im not buying.

@everythingkid regarding chery, i bought a small dunebuggy with a chery powertrain have replaced 3 transmissions, 4 starters, 2 alternators and 4 heads on engine. hadnt put even 50 miles on it. not been rough on it either

i have a 1997 2.0 gl,vw jetta in great condition,gives me no problems,i paid 1,300 dollars for it,i have know 173000 miles on it,it had 137,000 mi.on it when i bought it.i will run circles around any and all chinese cars they make.my car is good for at least another 100,000 miles more.fuck chines cars,they will get no respect.when they come to the usa and eveyone knows how shitty they are or cant stand to get made fun of and laughed at.they will be like deawoo but 100 times worse!!!!!!!!!!

Look at the grill u can tell chinese copied the bmw grill they have no innovations. They will remain poor, and will NEVER lead the world in hi-tech. Probably because you get it cheaper as you are working for brilliance. Luckily everybody else is smart enough to ignore this car. And there is no difference between BS 4 and BS 6 concerning the quality. And even with an upgrade they are worse than a korean car from the 1970s.

Well, have you ever see one or drive it? I have seen mid-90s Korean car before, I can confidently said both BS6 and BS4 are far superior than those Korean car. And they are very close to latest Korean car in lot of aspects. And I think I should tell you both model are outselling their Korean Counter part in China.(As their current main market) So, seems like I am not the only not "smart" enough to ignore this car. Similar quality with lower price, only true idiot will choose the expensive one.

Lenovo was IBMS brand so its image was already set. When the chinese first bought the brand they were too ahsame to even put their own brand on it, do some research. Never heard of Dawning, dont know what is that. Koreans were never the factory of the world for faking cheap quality garbages. They never counterfeit and disrespect copy rights. Sorry i will never get a chinese car, its just too costly for labor in the usa. Cheap accessories is good, when they broke just throw them away u know.

And can you tell me why Sonata look so alike 6 gen Accord? Lenovo use IBM brand is because they utilize IBM's brand recognition. And the machine have both band name on it. Do mean brand recognition=quality? IBM is good. But how about Ford? Do they make quality car? You know better than me. Of course you never heard Dawing, its market place is China.
