To be honest..... This viedo made me ball my eyes out..... That is my exact life everyday..... I get hit, kicked and slaped.. My mother has even thrown objects at me and one time the corner of somthing she threw at me hit the middle of my head and made my head bleed to deth..... My mother just stood there and watched the blood run down my head and the side of my face dripping on my bed sheets... She just stood there kinda smerking at me like it was some kind of joke. And it still happens to me..
@nikkisillystar27 hey I am so sorry this is happening ... you need to tell someone ... talk to a trusted adult and / or professional or call the National Child Abuse hotline at 1-800-422-4453
@nikkisillystar27 If this happens, you have to call child line!! If your lying, you would be a sick person. If this is happening, you have to call child line or the police! Child line doesn't come up on your phone bill btw. Look on the internet for the child line phone number
If I was the person on the phone with the mom and heard what she was doing (with the volume she was yelling at, I'm pretty sure I would've), I would've hung up and called CPS.
@KenziRoxsForeva This video was created by a 16 year old girl who was in an abusive situation for a long time. She wanted to make a difference for others. If you witness or are told about a child being abused please report it immediately to a trusted adult and / or professional or call the National Child Abuse hotline at 1-800-422-4453. Please take action.
Um, I once interrupted my mom while she was on the phone and she slapped me across the face as hard as she could. She never really verbal abused me, though. My father was the verbal abuser and perpetrator of more serious physical abuse. My only explanation for their behavior is that they both had parents that beat them. I've moved on but some of the dark parts of my childhood definitely caused years of instability, fear and turbulence when I became an adolescent. Chaos was the norm for me.
Why do parents do this to their kids i feel so bad for this kid shes a good kid she doesnt deserve go be treated this way she did the right thing by getting out.
Watching these type's of video's make's me very emotional :'(
I have gone through domestic abuse and it is still carry on even now, how do you know whats the right thing to do in these sitations , its sooo hard to cope with, and for others to understand.
I'm sorry if I sound like a heartless person, but we really don't need to waste our time trying to help a kid if they didn't try to tell someone about the abuse. Then if this doesn't work that the time we step in and lend a hand.
@swskf2 have you talked to anyone about it? Always talk to someone you trust ... and soon. The girl who created this video had a story like this and it took her until she was 16 to get out of it. She was very grateful for a friend's support to help her do what she needed to do. And every situation is different too.
I truely love this video. It spreads so much awareness. Me and my friend actually re-made this video and we're only 10 and 11. You guys are amazing. xoxo.
@MiliviaBFF that's not fun when that happens! Maybe you can make it again or something like it ... :) like us on Facebook - projectnaturalhighs and / or sign up for our newsletter e-mail on our website
@Mynameisboxy Why against women specifically? Aren't men worthy of protection, are we that disposable?
Its been proven that women perpetuate violence just as much as men do, and women perpetrate 70% of nonreciprocal violence due to the fact that men in most cases never hit back.
If men seek help they are ridiculed and mocked, and even arrested by the police and labeled as the perpetrators themselves because of our society's bias in regards to domestic violence.
@Mynameisboxy Men report their abuse less then women do due to our social norms, and to assume the innocence of women and assume that men are guilty.
Want sources that support this, then just get a look at Martin S. Fiebert's bibliography which has over 500 sources listed that support this conclusion.
Break the silence, domestic violence hurts men too. If you truly care about the victims of domestic violence you would care about and help men too.
:)) That's the lucky thing - The child leaves home - The most dangerous thing is that the kid will do the same shit when he has kids - learned from their fuckin' parents.
@iluvchantelle Don't make a joke out of this. I'm gritting my teeth to keep myself civil, but please don't joke about this. This video very nearly made me cry, and your comment has put me over the edge. This isn't something to joke about. This is something that some kids go through as a part of their normal life. Sometimes it's the constant. Sometimes it's the only attention they get.
the only abuse here is that she allows her to play with barbie lmfao
