Check the video response. With other games, you had to be IN the game already to join. Not from Game X > Game Y

You cross game invite for months now.  They way it works in MW2 is the EXACT same way other games have been doing for months.

Stop trying this "No RE5 via XMB excuse". This is old news. No difference in the way MW2 does it to many number of other games.

No ones talking about it because it's not supported by every game. On paper the PS3 can do most of what Live can do it's just that not every game supports every feature, until that happens it will never be as good as Live.

I understand now, I didn't know that re5 didn't allow you to switch if you already in a game. So this is a cool feature, I think this is the only way to invite someone from mw2 isnt it?

it's been here for some time. Thing about Cross Game invites and in-game music is that on the PS3 it's developer based. It's there but dev's have to program for it.

RE5 had it first, CROSS game invites, exactly like MW2 invites

no it did not, u could not join the re5 game from another game. ther join button would only apear in re5 was when u had re5 in the system and the game was loaded.

This has been happening for about a year now. Plenty of older-ish games already use this system.

Try Resident Evil 5 or Red Alert 3.
