  • Yep that Bass player is really high!

  • I look EXACTLY like the bassist... xDDD

  • So ahead of their time.

  • The singer looks like that goofball from the Mac vs PC commercials.

  • Great! I love this kind of music, but I have never heard of Epitaph - until now. Thanks for expanding my horizon! xD

  • So Freakin Awesum!!!

  • Everything just sounded better back then...

  • Can`t believe I never heard of this band before.

  • The is fucking heavy shit.

  • that axe is a guild.

  • HELP! what guitar is he playing? It looks like a Gretsch but what Kind???? the lead guitarist that is

  • @n1GibsonGuitarist Looks like a Guild Starfire.

  • hi, your Epitaph member listing is wrong: Jim McGillivary (drums) Cliff Jackson (guitar, vocals) Bernd Kolber (guitar) Klaus Walz (bass, vocals) is wrong! Correct line-up in this video and in reality (1971 - Jan. 1977): Bernd Kolbe (bass, vocals), Cliff Jackson (rhythm guitar, vocals), Klaus Walz, (lead guitar), and Jim McGillivary (drums). Please correct this error, thank you.

  • Cool song.......

  • Bernd Kolber, a godly guitarist.

  • Is that a Gibson es-175?

  • damn hippies, GET OFF MY LAWN!

  • oh, I didn't know the Germans also invented doom metal. :-)

  • @romaneberle wtf? Doom metal?

Listen to "triumphatus sad" by jacula (1969)

  • @romaneberle You could say they helped with the definition of the sound, only one band invented it :)

  • @Artognou

    sure. justin bieber. ;-)

  • changing world is their best song lol

  • thanks!

  • I luv this! One of my favorite German Rock songs from the seventies.

  • I nearly spat my beer at the computer when that scream came in @ 1:37

  • Billingsgate also had the Scorpions (Lonesome Crow) when they had both Shencker brothers. Some of their guitar solos are sic. (Most of Micheals are). This record is a classic as is Outside the Law, the Billingsgate release. Their dueling guitars are so sweet. I saw them at the Hammond Civic Center when they were in Chi town to record Outside. Every song on that record is phenomenal. Then, seems like the next day they were gone forever. What a kick in the ass...lol

  • Damn! I hate these obscure 70s rock video sessions on YouTube that I occasionally put myself through - they get TOO expensive! The more great music I discover and buy from that era, the more I seem to find!

Another album for the Amazon Wishlist!

  • @JohnnyMindcrime

No doubt! I lose HOURS searching obscure/lesser-known music, then cross-reference them on Amazon, eBay, and Discogs. EXPENSIVE! :-X

  • I was the first DJ in the US to play their music on the radio. Gary Pollack who owned Billingsgate Records was a listener and got me a copy of their first LP on Polydor to play on the air before he released them on his label. He also got rights to release Lucifer's Friend, Frumpy and Neu! on Billingsgate. Krautrock in general got lots of airplay on my show.

  • This is a legendary and absolute brilliant album! "Moving to the country" is outstanding ;)

  • where i can find the lyrics of this song??

  • I listen to this music more a less 101 times a day!

    It f* eats my brain!!

  • That bassist, looks INSANELY like me

  • @187Napalm

    Is this Justin Long?

  • i wish i was born 10-13 years earlier

  • @treason2010

In Germany you can buy all gigs by Beat Club from 1966-1972 on DVD. There are three boxes, each box contains eight DVD'S.

  • @huhnerhai

No kidding? Do you think you could provide a link for that?

    Cheers mate!

  • This is the best Witchcraft tune ever.

  • @beowulven Was this done by Witchcraft before?
